Lewis Hamilton Issues Apology After Mocking Nephew In Princess Dress + British Gov't Allegedly Fears Obamas Attending Meghan & Prince Harry's Wedding Will Cause Tension

Lewis Hamilton caught some backlash for mocking his nephew dressed up in a princess dress and now he’s apologizing. In other news, the British government is freaking out over The Obamas possibly getting an invite to Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's royal wedding. Find out why inside…

Formula One racecar driver Lewis Hamilton found himself getting dragged on social media after posting up a video of his nephew in a princess dress.

Apparently, the little boy asked for a princess dress for Christmas and his parents got it for him. When the racecar champion saw his newphew, he whipped out his camera and started recording him holding a wand in a pink and purple dress, expressing how disappointed he was that he wanted to wear a dress.

"Why did you ask for a princess dress for Christmas?” Then he yelled, “Boys don’t wear princess dresses!”

As you can imagine, folks were up in arms about the video, accusing Lewis of “gender shaming.”

Now, Lewis is apologizing for his “lapse in judgement.” He hopped on his social media accounts to issue the apology writing:

Who's side are you on? Should little boys be able to wear a dress if he wants without being questioned about it?

In royal wedding news...

Now that we know the royal wedding date, everyone is speculating who will land on the guest list.

During President Barack Obama’s stint in the White House, he and his wife, former First Lady Michelle Obama, sparked a friendship with Prince Harry. Their bond even continues today, long after the Obamas have exited office.

So people want know: Will the Obamas be invited to Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s wedding ceremony? Prince Harry isn’t spilling any tea. Yet.

Here's what he said when asked if the Obamas will be receiving an invite to their wedding on May, 19, 2018:

“Well, I don’t know about that,” he responded during an interview with BBC Radio 4’s Today program. “We haven’t put the invites or the guest list together yet so who knows whether he’s going to be invited or not. I wouldn’t want to ruin that surprise.”

He also opened up about why he and President Obama get along so well:

“We share the same kind of mindset and outlook on the charitable sector, on foundations and mainly on the youth of today,” he said. “The young people of this world are incredible inspirational.”

Earlier this week, The Sun reported a senior government source “made it clear” Prince Harry wanted the Obamas invited to his wedding. The British government is reportedly concerned that having the former First Couple at the royal wedding and NOT inviting the sitting President and First Lady could cause tensions between the two countries.

The source reportedly said: “Trump could react very badly if the Obamas get to a royal wedding before he has had a chance to meet the Queen.”

And we all know No. 45 will pitch a Twitter fit as SOON as he gets word about it.

Do you think Prince Harry and Meghan are going to invite the Obamas anyway?
