So Janet surprised everybody today and leaked her own new ish. Let's see if that actually happens. As for the new single, do we love it?

TMZ reports that Ike Turner, musician and Tina Turner's former husband, has died. No further details about his death have been released but sources say he may have died in his sleep. This is the one thing I hate about the Holidays...it tends to bring many deaths. R.I.P. Ike and condolences to his family and friends.

Look who was spotted vacaying it up with is new lil boo actress Zulay Henao: None other than "pretty boy" Terrance Howard. But um, I mean, seriously Terrance? You better ask CoCo what that extra snugness and shortness can do to the nether regions. No...seriously???

 

This is beyond CP time Fanny.  The folks at Browadway are pissy that Fantasia is causing havoc at their box offices since she's missed 50 shows since her summer debut.  Their policy is to refund a patron's cash or re-ticket them for another day if the star is out.  And it's been happening way more often than it should.  According to the NY Post: 

Since the American Idol began dropping performances, producers have refunded tens of thousands of dollars worth of tickets. Fantasia did show up for work the day the strike hit and sang for disappointed fans outside the theater. News of her impromptu concert reached Sardi's, where a group of Shubert executives were lunching. Said one, acidly: "There's no show, and she's out there singing. Now if we could get her to perform when there is a show, we'd be in business." Sources say Fantasia's out a lot because she's simply not up to the grueling Broadway schedule.

Damn Fanny.  I never believed those pregnancy rumors before, but ummm....

Remember the cute little girl Jurnee Smollet from Full House and Eve's Bayou 10 years ago?  She's been in several movies over the years but check out what she looks like now...

Just as expected, the rumor of Queen Latifah being engaged to and ready to marry her trainer are false.  Surprise surprise.  The Chicago Sun Times chatted it up with Queen this weekend while the Perfect Holiday cast was in town for some movie promo.  She told the Times:

''When you're famous these days, it's just part of the deal -- unfortunately. People will make up all sorts of things that are not true. . . . There ain't gonna be no wedding.''

And yes, I believe the chick. I purposely refrained from entertaining this little rumor on The YBF for a few reasons. And those who like gossip with some credibility can feel me on that. So the e-mail influx about this in my inbox can stop now. But keeping it all the way funky...we all know Queen is still tapping the trainer.
