Common's new video for "I Want You" sparked the rumorville when Kerry Washington signed on to co-direct it. While those two are in a much rumored romance, Alicia Keys, Kanyeezie, Will.I.Am, and Serena Williams are all up in the vid too. Common's people hit YBF with some words from Mr. Sexy himself:

"Kerry and I have always admired each others work and always wanted to collaborate on a project. When we began planning for the video for "I Want You," I reached out to Kerry to star in it and it developed into her directing. She had a strong vision for the song that grabbed me from the start so we got our cast and crew together and made it happen," states Common.

Mmmhmm. I'll be watching. And it doesn't hurt that the track is uberly hot.

So Remy Ma hit up the 2nd Annual Entertainers 4 Education Alliance "Stay In School" event in the NYC yesterday: And clearly she's been trading diet secrets with Trina. I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say this is all a good look. Remy is Remy and while she will always walk that fab/foolywang fine line....there's something I'm liking here.
