A nosey source who happened to be in the right place at the right time says that Ja Rule is not on his bill paying game. They sent YBF an e-mail about Ja's crdit card getting rejected at Staples yesterday. Apparently, he's not paying his bills over at the L.I.F.E. Foundation he started:

"Today 10/18 Ja rule sent members of his life camp group to Staples in New York. The order was only 55 dollars and the card was declined...his rep didn't understand why..."

Ja don't love the kids? Damn Ja. Let's get it together.

Mama Whitney was a surprise guest at the Swarovski Fashion Rocks London event last night: She made her first visit to London in 10 years to sing a farewell song to Valentino. Prince V says he's not making anymore Ready to Wear clothing. Mama is looking fabulous too.

Common's new video for "I Want You" sparked the rumorville when Kerry Washington signed on to co-direct it. While those two are in a much rumored romance, Alicia Keys, Kanyeezie, Will.I.Am, and Serena Williams are all up in the vid too. Common's people hit YBF with some words from Mr. Sexy himself:

"Kerry and I have always admired each others work and always wanted to collaborate on a project. When we began planning for the video for "I Want You," I reached out to Kerry to star in it and it developed into her directing. She had a strong vision for the song that grabbed me from the start so we got our cast and crew together and made it happen," states Common.

Mmmhmm. I'll be watching. And it doesn't hurt that the track is uberly hot.

So Remy Ma hit up the 2nd Annual Entertainers 4 Education Alliance "Stay In School" event in the NYC yesterday: And clearly she's been trading diet secrets with Trina. I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say this is all a good look. Remy is Remy and while she will always walk that fab/foolywang fine line....there's something I'm liking here.
