I'm convinced Lil Wayne just loves chillin' with 5-0.  He was detained tonight for the umpteenth time at the Texas border by the US Border Patrol.  Apparently dogs sniffed out marijuana (surprise surprise) on his tour bus.  But none was found on Weezy himself. So while no one's been arrested yet, Weezy and the 11 other people were released but the case is still "open" with the Brooks County Sheriff's office. Weezy's already been in trouble too many times to count for drugs and gun charges.  His prison sentence from his most recent gun charges starts February 2010. More ish under the cut...

BET's 106 & Park Host Terrence J and The Women in Entertainment Empowerment Network hosted the 2009 Holiday Party & Toy Drive at the Highbar Lounge in New York yesterday.  YBF was on the scene for this one.  The event provides executives, artists, and philanthropists an opportunity to give back to their community by donating toys that will be hand delivered to the Boys and Girls Club in Newark, NJ. "I thoroughly enjoy helping people anyway that I can," says BET 106 & Park's host, Terrence J. "I wanted to be sure that my vision could be displayed through any fundraiser I'm apart of. For those reasons, there is no better way to use my influence to help the less fortunate". Nice.

This past Saturday, celeb folks kicked it with more than 1,000 people at Glasgow High School gymnasium in Newark, Delaware for the 4th Annual Celebrity Basketball game sponsored by RocaWear. Celebrity players were Tequan Richmond from "Everybody Hates Chris" (above), BET Personality Alesha Renee (below), R&B singer Sammie, DJ Webstar, Barry Floyd from "The Game" and others.
