Maybe Nas was right when he said it’s time for Rev. Al and Rev. Jesse to step aside and let the next generation be “the voice” of the community.  Because these “slip ups” are getting out of control.  Good ol Fox News has released (not the full transcript but in a report apparently) a second part of the tape where Jesse Jackson was caught talking ish about Barack Obama when he thought his mic was off.  And this time he was calling black folks the “N” word.  Nope, not nuts.  N*ggers.  Wasn’t he the first one to hop pon the “How dare Nas make a song like “N*gger” ” train?  Publicly denouncing it before he even heard what it was about?  Hypocritical much?

And of course, he’s got an “I’m sorry” statement yet again for the Obama camp.  According to the Associated Press:

In additional comments from that same conversation, the Reverend Jackson is reported to have said that Senator Obama was “talking down to black people”, and referred to blacks as “niggers” when he said Senator Obama was telling them “how to behave”.

The network declined to release the full transcript of the July 6 show and did not air the comments.

Mr Jackson - who is travelling in Spain - apologised in a statement yesterday for “hurtful words”, but didn’t offer specifics. “I am deeply saddened and distressed by the pain and sorrow that I have caused as a result of my hurtful words. I apologise again to Senator Barack Obama, Michelle Obama, their children as well as to the American public,” he said in a written statement.

“There really is no justification for my comments and I hope the Obama family and the American public will forgive me.

“I also pray that we, as a nation, can move on to address the real issues that affect the American people.”

Not only have I been wanting to slap these Sh*tty Ricky boys with their own gold lame jackets, but they went and got me all heated by remaking some classic ish. Somebody told these dudes doing a cover of H-Town’s “Knockin’ The Boots” (one of my fave songs ever by the way) for their new 80’s Baby album and making a video for it would be a good look. So it looks like Diddy is trying to send a subliminal message to all those talking ish about him. It’s still not clear if he’s referencing the “Diddy and Cassie coupledom” situation directly, but he’s referencing something. The vid was posted conveniently right after news of him splitting with Cassie hit the net yesterday. In his newest video blog posted today, he’s warning everyone that B*tchassness has reached a level orange alert and people must lock their doors and pray. He says the “haters are out there”. And if you spend all your time just talking about folks and hoping for their downfall, you’ve been infected with B*tchassness. He proceeds to ask over and over have any of us who are watching been infected. And I really want him to answer his own question–but about other diseases. I’m just sayin’…

Leave it to Rev. Jesse Jackson to do more harm than good. Peep the clip from his stint on Fox News last night that everyone is talking about. He thought his mic was off when he was talking ish about Barack Obama. He said he wanted to “cut his nuts off” for talking down to black people. And this is coming from a man who is Team Obama and on the damn campaign trail for the man. Even his own son Jesse Jr. has put out a statement saying he adamantly rejects his daddy’s statements and essentially said they were horribly foolish. Schooled by Jr. That’s gotta hurt.

And sources are reporting that Shaunie O’Neal has stopped all the divorce proceedings with her hubby Shaquille and is likely going to move toward reconciliation. Well we all knew that was coming since they all of a sudden have been hitting up every event together like nothing happened. They were even spotted in the Cayman Islands (above) for the Holiday this past weekend. Well congrats to them for working it out.
