Yeah it sounds like a joke but this ish is true:

Damn Trina….looks like somebody’s trying to take your spot underneath Trick Daddy’s sweaty ass armpit.

Folks hit up the Swagga Entertainment and Dunk Ryder Records Private Bowling Party at Lucky Strike in Miami ths weekend. And as usual with events like this, I’m left with several questions in my head. Like, why is Deelishis the only one rocking a bikini and beach gear? Why did she think said bikini and beach gear were ok to rock? Has Trick Daddy bathed yet? Is Toccara’s bra on display because it simply just can’t hide?
These questions and others may get answered when you read the rest…

Maybe Nas was right when he said it’s time for Rev. Al and Rev. Jesse to step aside and let the next generation be “the voice” of the community. Because these “slip ups” are getting out of control. Good ol Fox News has released (not the full transcript but in a report apparently) a second part of the tape where Jesse Jackson was caught talking ish about Barack Obama when he thought his mic was off. And this time he was calling black folks the “N” word. Nope, not nuts. N*ggers. Wasn’t he the first one to hop pon the “How dare Nas make a song like “N*gger” ” train? Publicly denouncing it before he even heard what it was about? Hypocritical much?
And of course, he’s got an “I’m sorry” statement yet again for the Obama camp. According to the Associated Press:
In additional comments from that same conversation, the Reverend Jackson is reported to have said that Senator Obama was “talking down to black people”, and referred to blacks as “niggers” when he said Senator Obama was telling them “how to behave”.
The network declined to release the full transcript of the July 6 show and did not air the comments.
Mr Jackson - who is travelling in Spain - apologised in a statement yesterday for “hurtful words”, but didn’t offer specifics. “I am deeply saddened and distressed by the pain and sorrow that I have caused as a result of my hurtful words. I apologise again to Senator Barack Obama, Michelle Obama, their children as well as to the American public,” he said in a written statement.
“There really is no justification for my comments and I hope the Obama family and the American public will forgive me.
“I also pray that we, as a nation, can move on to address the real issues that affect the American people.”
Add it to the Sorry 2008 files Jesse. Womp womp.

Sigh. In the ultra predictable and PR contrived news of the day, Young Berg has released an “apology” to all women about his ignorant comments from the other day. {Click here if you missed the original drama} And honestly Young Berg, we still don’t give a damn. But for all you who might, here’s a snippet of the transcript:
“I want to apologize to every woman across the world,” Yung Berg told AllHipHop.com. remorsefully. “I would never want to offend any women of any race because I love women so much. You can tell by the music that I make that women mean the world to me. My mother is a lovely dark skin lady…I’m totally sorry and hope I didn’t offend any of my fans that have love for YB.”
You can catch the full video apology here. I don’t believe you Young Berg. You need more people. I would have had more respect for you if you stuck by your words since you definitely meant them. You get another “Bitch Please!” for wasting another 30 seconds of my life I can’t get back.
Oh, and the same goes for you Polow Da Don. He was quoted in an Allhiphop.com interview that “black women need to get their s**t together, period, point black. And if you’re in denial of that, you are part of the problem.” And the “statement” he just issued:
“I never said I don’t date black women. If you can ever find that anywhere I got $100, 000 for you.”
Womp womp.

Well what do we have here? Extremely reliable sources close to Mr. Raymond himself have confirmed to TheYBF.com that Usher has indeed filed for separation from his wife of only 9 months Tameka Raymond. I’m told he actually filed three weeks ago. And Usher is torn on whether he will be making an official announcement or not as he wants to save face and just let it “leak”. How convenient that his album releases in exactly 6 days, his second video hit the net today, and his album leaked yesterday. We’ve been here before with the pre-album release publicity stunts (remember the Chilli breakup right before Confessions?). So I’m really not surprised.
But it is interesting that Mrs. Raymond was just on set with Usher for his MTV snippet tapings on Sunday. At the very beginning of their relationship almost a year ago, sources were screaming left and right that this whole relationship was a sham and Tameka was strictly a pawn. And their relationship was all for publicity for his soon to be released album. And clearly this may not have been as far fetched as people thought.
At this time, it’s unclear as to what reason–if any–Ursh is going to give for their separation. But I have two guesses…both of which fit the classic Usher-pre-album-release-publicity stunts he has pulled before with previous album releases. Either the beef between the Mrs. and Mama Ursh is too much for Usher to handle, or he found out baby Usher V is not his. Regardless, Urshmeka is chillin’ on Splitsville Lane right now and time will only tell how this is all about to play out.
UPDATE: As expected, The Raymonds are denying their separation to other gossip sources (but not to this gossip source). Extra hard. And we all know this isn’t the first time a celeb (namely Usher) has denied something in a “statement” that ended up actually being true. TheYBF.com is sticking by its previous story. Let the publicity circus continue…
This recession is killing some folks. Even the self proclaimed rich folks who buy ish they can’t afford because they believe their own hype. And none other than Kimberly Jones, b.k.a. Lil Kim, got put on blast today by the CW morning news. Click the above image to peep the video. The news team was doing a segment about how an influx of cars–even high end ones–are being repossessed these days and they called out a certain someone about this not being the first time her Bentley has gotten repo’d. They even got her on the phone and ended up getting cursed out on air by the Queen Bee. Priceless material indeed. A very credible source of mine also tells me Kim’s New Jersey house is in foreclosure as well. I put 5 on it her reps have already put in a call to BET about a Life After The Slammer reality show. Chick needs a check.
UPDATE: Folks have hit me up saying that this Bentley was a gift from Scott Storch and he was in fact the one defaulting on payments. However, I’m only reporting what the news has reported. And they reported right here in this video that she, Kimberly Jones, said her accountant would handle it. Leases/car notes are in fact transferable so it is still possible that she is in charge of the note assuming this was a gift. So if you have an issue, take it up with the journalists at CW 11 News.

It was only a matter of time. Industry executive Terrance Dean has written his tell all book giving a Who’s Who in Gay Hip Hop Hollywood. Here’s the synopsis:
Everyone wants to know the truth about their favorite celebrities’ heart’s desire. Within the masculine culture of Hip Hop and Hollywood, there is a well-known gay subculture that industry insiders are keenly aware of but choose to hide. Terrance Dean worked his way up for more than ten years in the entertainment industry from intern to executive, and has lived the life of glitz and bling along with Hollywood and Hip Hop’s most glamorous. With a family full of secrets and working in an industry founded on maleness — where one’s job, friendships, and reputation all depend on remaining on the down low and in hiding — Dean writes a revealing account of the journey of coming out from hiding.
Full of startling anecdotes and incredible true stories, Hiding in Hip Hop is not a traditional tell-all. A personal and poignant memoir, it is also one of the most provocative and honest looks at stardom and sexuality.
It’s taking everything in me not to start a pool on the folks we all know are about to be outed. I can guaran-damn-tee that a few of your favorite rappers are sh*tting their pants right about now. They have 3 weeks to get their PR statements together. The book drops May 13th.

In case we forgot, Serena’s reminding us that she’s got back for days….

She was spotted splashing around in the Miami sun yesterday. And in the teeniest black bikini she could find of course. No BFF Kelly Rowland nor her man Common in sight. But who needs them when your body clearly can befriend itself. Twice. Work it out then chick…

And apparently Rihanna wasn’t invited to nan part of the Bigga wedding. She tells People, “I didn’t know! No one knew!” Um, we all knew damn near a week or so before it went down that it at least might go down Rih Rih. So it just sounds like you missed the memo boo…and the invitation. Because damn near all your label mates were indeed at the reception. Womp womp. Speaking of the wedding, the NY Post has provided some absolutely shocking insight that maybe mainstream media and tabloids have been biased against Jay-Z and Beyonce and not even giving them tabloid covers this week based on stereotypes and race. No! Really? Say it aint so.
