Eva Longoria and Tony P. are officially dunzo. “Oh sh*t!” were definitely the first words out of my mouth. Not because I’m a fan of the couple or anything–but just because this chick has sold a house, bought another one with this man, and even told the whole damn world on Oprah she was damn close to getting married and having kids with Mr. Parker. So basically she learned the “J-lo” lesson of keeping your mouth shut about your relationship. I hate to say I told you so….

Apparently, this split has been the case for a while now. It’s just now getting leaked. Funny how they’ve been spotted out together all week though. Supposedly they’re working on getting back together. Yeah, good luck with that. But on the real tip, anybody else think Eva’s just trying to get some more publicity since her Eva-overload publicity is waning? Hmmm….

Update: Apparently this was just a little rumor someone decided to have fun with. Damn those People magazine folks. Tony P. and Eva P. are still very much a couple according to very cerdible news sources. Carry on oh fabulous ones….

Ok. If you are still having doubts, the story of Rev. Run’s baby is indeed true. Diddy, who is a very close friend of Rev. Run and his fam, went on the radio today and confirmed the story. Vanessa Simmons also e-mailed me today and here is what she said:

Well well well. A source close to T.O. has informed me that the new main chick in his life is none other than Sanaa Lathan. Bump what you heard about Denzel and his ex-fiance Felicia (T.O. and Felicia officially broke up in February due to his cheating ways), this is the couple of the moment. While the source informs me that Sanaa did have a lil something going on with Denzel as of recent–sans the pregnancy part–she’s moved on to Terrell. She was also spotted visiting him at the Cowboys training camp a couple months ago in Oxnard, CA.

She’s actually in Dallas today to be by his side through all this alleged “suicide attempt” foolishness. And in the latest issue of Upscale magazine, Sanaa lets everybody know she’s dating someone “who may-or may not-be in the business”. And we all know that means he IS in the business. Sanaa told Upscale:

ANTM is off to an interesting start this season:

That damn Monique. She was my early fave until last night. That chick has some major issues she may wanna get worked out. Once again, I would have went upside a chick’s head if she ever would have touched me with some body fluid like she did to Melrose. It would have been trou-ble trou-ble. Last night their challenge was to rock a pic wearing movable, statue hair that “weaveologists” do in hair shows. Yes, the hair stylists were really called weaveologists.

So, my early faves are:

Anchal let her “colored girl” come out last night. She stepped to Monique like she had some secret security and wasn’t worried bout a damn thing. A naturally pretty girl too. Since we’re all aware (well you should be) that those ANTM folks ARE NOT about to pick another black chick to win (they only picked 4 to even go to the finals and 1 got voted off day 1), they may just pick an Indian chick.

I was definitely a Christian fan–but she got axed day 1.

The reason I like Ms. Eugena is because she reminds me of “Toni Childs” to a damn tee. Attitude, facial features, everything. I have a feeling she’s gonna piss me off later with her two-facedness though.

Clearly today wasn’t a good day for credible media. First up: T.O. He gave a press conference tonight (which aired on ESPN and the DC local news) about his supposed suicide attempt. He said that he DID NOT attempt suicide and he is definitely not depressed. The credible news agencies who reported that he did attempt suicide, like CNN, ESPN, Yahooo, etc., are not 100% at fault though. They were told that Terrell said “Yes” when the Fire and Rescue team asked if he had purposely ried to hurt himself. However, T.O. was in no state to answer logical questions–according to him–because the prescription drugs he had taken that night had affected his body in a negative way. He couldn’t think straight and his body was ill.

The media sources who we actually look to in order to receive credible info should have held off on their story until they had heard from T.O. They did hear from his publicist Kim, but according to her (she was also at the press conference tonight), she never said he was depressed or attempted suicide.

So either there was some serious misunderstandings, the media has it out for T.O., or he creates this mess for attention. Regardless, he’s now A-OK and still speaking with that sense of arrogance that he usually does.

Next: The Simmons Family. More info has come out today, but I’m still not persuaded that the TMZ story is 100% truthful. This afternoon, TMZ posted that Rev. Run released a statement to the associated press stating:

“On Sept. 26, 2006, Victoria Anne Simmons for some unknown reason chose to come early and unfortunately did not survive,” his statement said. “We must accept whatever is there and once you accept unconditionally, then everything is beautiful. Every pain has a purifying effect. So whatever comes your way, just be thankful. We see life in death and believe in the celebration of life in death.”

The story has been printed by Fox News ,Canada.com, and others–all AP sources. But the stories contradict themselves datewise. Run’s “staement” says the baby was delivered and died Wednesday, while the reports are saying last week. Also, TMZ’s first story said the baby delivery happened on Thursday, not Tuesday like this “press statement” says. But my sources are telling me that the story is in fact true, but certain media folks got the dates incorrect because they wanted to hurry and get the story out. And lastly, YBF reader Brianna sent in a statement from Vanessa Simmons’ myspace page that supposedly is official and definitely hers. Vanessa–well, supposedly Vanessa–posted 2 messages (one last night and one this morning):

Ok just to clear this up a little. The baby was girl (my
sister) she was born with her inner organs on the outside she was properly birthed andpassed away minutes later. People before had been asking me questionsabout the baby’s sex i could not really say because that was suspose to be for the premiere of runs season house 3 is was suspose to pick upwhere it left off which is why the show went off without anybody beingtold what the gender was. The show was scheduled to premiere this laterin the fall i’m not
sure if it is or not thats the furthest thing frommy dads mind right now i’m sure
