Conde Nast’s 5th Anniversary of Fashion Rocks! Red Carpet
Last night YBF celebs turned it out at the 5th Anniversary of Fashion Rocks! taping. It was at NY’s Radio City Music Hall. Now let’s kick it off with YBF’s hottest looks of the night:
Well what do we have here? Beyonce rocked a cute and chic mini dress that was on the safe side (especially for her) and she definitely could have turned it up a bit for an event like this. But that damn rock on her fourth finger left hand takes the cake. My sources backstage at the event tell me chick was blinding people with that ish. Must be nice.
UPDATE: Sources claim the ring is 18 carats and from Lorraine Schwartz and costs 5 mill. I see the Jiggaman did his homework on a woman’s best friend.
Rihanna’s floor length Monique Lhuillier Fall ‘08 strapless dress is beautiful. And she rocked the right toned down makeup and minimal jewelry to complete the look. Loving the diamond brooch belt as well.
LL looked dapper in with this chome jacket paired with all black. Nice.
And Ciara rocked a hot Elie Saab floor length evening gown…complete with its own entourage. Gotta love it.

As for the worst looks of the night:
Solange gets a hells no on this one. Different and original do not always equal hot. Write that down and take a picture solo.
WTF Lil Mama? If she would have just rocked that yello dress solo, with none of that tacky jewelry or coat or hat, she might have pulled it off.
Just…no.

Clearly sequins is a huge thing for these celebs this season:
Ashanti rocked an almost backless pink sequins dress. Honestly, it screams high school prom to me as this is something these kids these days would rock to their proms. And that’s not a good thing. But I actually love her hair and the shoes…which don’t do well with the dress though. Overall, Ashanti’s a fab chick and still looked nice.
She kicked it with Charlize Theron on the carpet too.
Keyshia Cole hit the carpet in a mini sequins open front black dress:
Not sure what this chick has been doing lately but her body and skin are on point these days.

Bey looke great i liked that she toned her look down after all she was the star of the show, she performed with justin timberlake, she performed alone, and she performed with the other women. I like Ciara’s dress but not on her. She looks akward posing and she is to muscular. Her hair and make is off as well.
Rhianna’s dress is beautiful.
I like Beyonce’s simple look.
Keyshia’s hair and makeup is lovely, but the dress is cheap looking. Maybe it’s the chicken legs that’s throwing the look off.
I like the color of Ashanti’s dress but not the dress. It does nothing for her shape. She can stand to put a couple extra hours in the gym.
I don’t like Mary’s dress or that blonde hair.

Brandy has a cute shape, but you can’t tell in that dress. Brandy coming back means coming back and that means ultra fab all the time.
Ciara is trying to hard-the hair is too hard looking, a softer style she would’ve hit it out the park.

You know all of those broads (ashanti, ciara, keisha) thought Beyonce was going to roll up in a sparkly, over the top number, so they ran out with their stylist trying to find the shiniest dress they could find….but Beyonce said whatever, and threw on a simple fashion forward number…Good choice, Bey.
The dress she wore while preforming the Etta James song was pure class. Made the short lacefront more tolerable.

Rihanna looks beautiful. Why does Beyonce wear sheer tights or whatever you want to call them. Most people don’t do that anymore. They make her legs looks ashy. I didn’t like Rihanna’s dress because of the big pockets and the color(everybody wears black) but she pulls off this look so effortlessly that I am speechless! She looks so elegant because she is tall and has great posture. I know now that this girl can wear anything and make it look good!

Rihanna looks beautiful. Why does Beyonce wear sheer tights or whatever you want to call them. Most people don’t do that anymore. They make her legs looks ashy. I love my girl bey but she was very boring!!!! Her gear has pretty much been boring for the past few months (that same grey bag same skinny jeans etc.). She over compensates with the “I am not trying to take away someone else’s shine so I am toning it down thing” However, I am liking her hair a lot more these days. I don’t know if this is hers or not but I saw her with her real hair done recently and she looked GREAT!

I love how B puts it on. She is not dressed to the 9’s cause she wants Solange to have the spotlight (which she looks a fucking chandelier-Tacky Tina fright) but B is classic & so fly. I agree with everyone else who said that Brandy has on a trash bag and unfortunatley doesn’t make it work… Brandy makes me sad everytime I see her - What could have been and it all just slipped away…She was one of my fave singers.

How long will the public be “FORCED FED” Solange? Somebody please help. The thing about her is that she appears so smug…which comes across constantly. The truth of the matter is she has not put in any work and we the public are not feeling her. Beyonce….is a star in her own right….but Solange is a relative of Beyonce’s…..no more no less. The public does not care what Solange is wearing just like we don’t care what the relatives of Kelly or Michelle have on…little Miss. Solange needs a reality check.
