YBF Exclusive: Alicia Keys Shows Off Her Homewrecking Skills?!
And the Mashonda/Swizz Beatz/Alicia Keys love triangle saga continues. Very credible sources inside Alicia’s camp (on the personal management side) have dished to TheYBF.com that Alicia Keys threw a party last night at the NY’s Guggenheim Museum. And it was far from a Welcome Back To The States party for herself. She threw this party for Swizz Beatz’s birthday! Swizz brought his entire family (mom and co.) along to celebrate. But it was supposed to be top secret that it was Alicia who actually threw this party for him. We reported a while back that the “divorce” talk from Mashonda and Swizz was just to help Mashonda save face. I’m told the couple was actually scheduled to start marriage counseling next week. Too bad Mashonda knew nothing about Alicia throwing this party.
We cross checked the facts about this party with a member of Alicia’s street team–since she used them to pub this party to certain people. And it indeed checks out. Sources also tell TheYBF.com that Alicia kept the purpose of the party secret from everyone else, including the African performer she hired for the party named Angelique Kidjo. Pics of the two together at the event may not surface because of Ms. Keys’ strict confidentiality forms and no cameras policy she has everyone in her camp sign when it comes to pictures of her. But when Mashonda starts dishing about her husband’s behavior to every media who will listen, you can can guan-damn-tee this ish is coming out.
I also hear Marc Anthony and Jennifer Lopez stopped by the party but promptly left when they were annoyed by Swizz and Alicia so publicly flaunting their affair and relationship. Esp. since Swizz and Mashonda haven’t signed the separation/divorce papers. In case you didn’t know, the Anthonys actually became good friends with Mashonda after meeting her through Swizz who previously produced some tracks for Jenny.
Now that we’ve let the cat out the bag, I wonder if Swizz regrets moving in with Alicia while Mashonda’s been out of the country. Oh yes, moved in together. Scandal!
UPDATE: For all you doubters, radio host Wendy Williams has confirmed on her show today that Alicia was indeed at the party last night. Wendy was there herself, as well as her sidekick Charlamagne, who had a convo with Ms. Keys and just discussed it on the air this afternoon. They also confirm J.Lo and Marc Anthony were there. And of course, Wendy and Charlamagne hinted around at the secret secret relationship between Swizzy and Alicia…and it ain’t for everybody…

I’m going to be an adult about this situation. here is my side. We don’t really know what is going on. They may still be legally married, but they may also be living seperate lives. I can’t say that alicia is a home wrecker because who knows how long things went sour between the married couple. How do we know that Mashonda didn’t know about alicia a long time ago, but the marriage was so messed up she basically didn’t put any effort into saveing what was left of her marraige. How do we know that Alicia really is a home wrecker? we don’t know! I am married and I will say that marriage can get complicated to the point that other people do not understand the realtionship that you have with your other half. I’m not defending Alicia, not by no means, because I want the full facts. I knkow Mashonda isn’t happy, most women hurt deeply when their marriage is falling apart. If your looking at the legal aspect of the marraige since Swizz is still legally married to Mashonda, yes that is cheating. but is it still cheating if both parties agree to go on their seperate ways even they have not started the divorce process. I don’t consider that cheating!

@BMW I agree with you 100%. We don’t know the whole story and I think it’s inappropriate for YBF to say she’s a homewrecker. The only side we’ve heard from is Mashonda. If his whole family came to the event including his mama then things can’t be as sinister as they seem from the outside looking in. A lot of folks are saying Swiss and Mashonda have been seperated from some time. EVEN IF Alicia had begun seeing him when Swizz and Mashonda were “on”, A MAN CANNOT BE STOLEN!!! I think people are getting confused also,
now if a person is married and have been seperated for awhile( months or years) then that’s different. no chance of getting back.
but if the marriage is just going thru something for a couple of weeks or months. then that’s still married and this is what i believe in the case of swiss. alicia knew they were having problems and made things worse, of course he screwed her what man won’t if giving the opportunity, but what would a sista do that respected the next and most importantly her self. I know i would have never given him the chance.

Married is married until you’re “legally” separated or divorced. I say if neither party has moved towards those means, there’s a chance of them getting back together…happens too often.
If the story is true, I’m with you, Alicia should’ve let him go on his happy merry way until he could show her there was some dissolution in progress.

Married is married- separated or not. All separation is- is a legal document stating that the parties are apart. They are still married.

The only time I have a problem with seperated divorce couples dating other people is when they have been apart for years and have not seen each other, but they are still legally married even though they are no longer physically together! why is it you’ve been married for eight years, but you haven’t seen your partner in 6 years. I don’t think we’ve heard Mashonda’s side yet. If I’m not mistaken, she hasn’t publicly said anything and it has only been outside people observing the interactions who have said that Alicia and Swizz are dating. However, although Swizz’ actions should be acknowledged as wrong, if this is true, Alicia is wrong as well. Even if they have been separated for some time, Alicia and Swizz have been going at it for some time which means there wasn’t much time between the “separation” and their alleged relationship (which seems to implicate that they were probably getting cozy before the “separation”). I have walked away from a couple of men who have told me they were “married but separated” b/c I know karma is a b*tch. I’m like try again once you’re divorced and we’ll see…
So No, a man can not be stolen but just b/c he’s a hoe doesn’t mean you have to be one too.

If I’m not mistaken, she hasn’t publicly said anything and it has only been outside people observing the interactions who have said that Alicia and Swizz are dating. However, although Swizz’ actions should be acknowledged as wrong, if this is true, Alicia is wrong as well. Even if they have been separated for some time, Alicia and Swizz have been going at it for some time which means there wasn’t much time between the “separation” and their alleged relationship (which seems to implicate that they were probably getting cozy before the “separation”). I just had to post because I remember my ex coming all the way from America to England and he wanted to see me. Now he had gotten married when we broke up. I really wanted to see him but they say old fire wood is easy to catch a spark so when he called me to meet up I went off on him (didn’t mean it) but it was better than us meeting and something happening. I would have hated myself for that. Did I mention he was my first boyfriend and the one who deflowered me?

However, although Swizz’ actions should be acknowledged as wrong, if this is true, Alicia is wrong as well. She was mentioning people that were there and when she said Alicia Keys’ name she started stuttering and kind of “took” Alicia’s name back and said well there were people there and went on to name Alicia Keys. I found that to be a little suspect.

No, I don’t believe there are “plenty” of exceptions, but yes I believe there are exceptions to the rule. However, I personally think a woman should think twice before dating a married man with a pregnant wife or a wife who has recently given birth (I think Mashonda had given birth a month or so prior). If not for morality’s sake, at least for her own sake because once there’s a child involved, things can get messy. That’s not to say the man is not wrong as well but why would a woman want to even put herself in that position is unbeknownst to me. Having said all that, to each his/her own, I just know how I would feel if I were the wife so I would just step back for a bit. If it’s really “love” what’s wrong with trying to wait a while to try to make the guy can focus on what’s important…the baby?

But you don’t do the time that the one who killed someone does. You do less, you’re less responsible. In cases like these women are ALWAYS painted evil and hoes and the MARRIED MEN always gets away with everything. In case you were responding to me, I wasn’t defending the other woman, I was just saying, the man is MORE GUILTY cause that’s HIS relationship/marriage, he’s the one cheating, and if the table were turned no I wouldn’t like it but I would confront MY MAN, not some stranger that I don’t know from Adam or Eve who doesn’t owe me fidelity and that I never put my trust into. She did something wrong, but she didn’t do something wrong TO ME. That’s my point.

I don’t think we’ve heard Mashonda’s side yet. If I’m not mistaken, she hasn’t publicly said anything and it has only been outside people observing the interactions who have said that Alicia and Swizz are dating. However, although Swizz’ actions should be acknowledged as wrong, if this is true, Alicia is wrong as well. Even if they have been separated for some time, Alicia and Swizz have been going at it for some time which means there wasn’t much time between the “separation” and their alleged relationship (which seems to implicate that they were probably getting cozy before the “separation”). I have walked away from a couple of men who have told me they were “married but separated” b/c I know karma is a b*tch. I’m like try again once you’re divorced and we’ll see…

When i was 22 I dated a man who was seperated from his wife! i even met her! a year later the divorce was compelet and we got married! you know why they seperated, because he married her for all of the wrong reaasons. she was preggos with his baby and he decided to do the right thing. The child died a few months after birth, the marriage fell apart because they never really loved each other. each situation is diffeent! WAS I WRONG FOR DATING HIM! NO! No, I don’t believe there are “plenty” of exceptions, but yes I believe there are exceptions to the rule. However, I personally think a woman should think twice before dating a married man with a pregnant wife or a wife who has recently given birth (I think Mashonda had given birth a month or so prior). If not for morality’s sake, at least for her own sake because once there’s a child involved, things can get messy. That’s not to say the man is not wrong as well but why would a woman want to even put herself in that position is unbeknownst to me. Having said all that, to each his/her own, I just know how I would feel if I were the wife so I would just step back for a bit. Unfortunately, I had to give that “disclaimer” because, if you visit this site regularly, you know how sensitive some of these people can get. Not to doubt you, but you could be anyone because folks lie on the ‘net all the time. However, I believe you about that last statement because I heard about how those two started and got down (cheating, kids out of wedlock, and all) before and during their marriage. People are saying you lose him how you get him, and I guess that’s why Mashonda allegedly lost him to another woman.
