BREAKING NEWS: Kanye West ARRESTED!
Damn ‘Ye! Sources are reporting that Kanye West was arrested around 7:51am this morning at LAX airport likely for beating up a paparazzo! Here’s the lowdown:
LAX police confirmed to Access Hollywood that Kanye West was arrested at LAX today.
West was arrested at 7:51 AM this morning on charges of battery and vandalism.
He is still in custody at the airport.
Airport police can’t confirm, but they speculate it was due to a situation with the paparazzi.

Apparently he smashed the pap’s $10,000 camera too. Well you’re not really on the A-list till you have a rap sheet. So I guess it was about that time for ‘Ye. But wildin’ out on a pap? Just…wow.
UPDATE: This ish gets better. Here’s the real recap from a TMZ photog who was on the scene…and almost got attacked his damn self:
Erik says he was at Terminal 4 (American Airlines) when he noticed a still photog taking several pictures of Kanye West. Erik says West rushed the photog and grabbed his camera. A struggle ensued and the still guy was screaming, “Police, help!” Erik says Kanye then took the still camera and threw it on the ground, breaking it into pieces.
Erik then went over to Kanye, his camera rolling, when Kanye’s body guard walked up to him, realized Erik was taping, and said, “Give me the camera, give me the camera.” Erik responded that he had a press pass and had a right to shoot. The assistant then grabbed the camera, ripped off the mic and viewfinder and smashed it to the ground.
Erik says Kanye then tried to leave to board his plane, but cops stopped him before he got to security. The cops then interviewed Erik, the still photog, Kanye and his assistant..
This is where it gets crazy. The cops asked Erik if he videotaped the incident and Erik said he had. That’s when Kanye lunged toward him and said, “Give me the fu***ng videotape.” Cops had to restrain Kanye as he tried coming at Erik.

Sometimes the papp just needs to lay off. This man mother just died, leave him the f**k alone. Damn how many pictures do they need. They sit there and take 500 shots of the same person, in the same spot, with the same clothes, on the same day, and all in 10min. That’s unnecessary. Im pretty sure Kanye gave him an opportunity to chill out. That’s what he get. Learn to leave people alone when they are not having a good day, famous or not.

I agree. We all know that Kanye is an egotistical douchebag but those photogs need to have respect for people’s personal space. Put yourself in their shoes. Would you like a photographer following you around whenever they saw fit with no respect for your privacy or that of your loved ones?
Some people may be gracious but you never know what mood people are in on any given day. Even egotistical douchebags have feelings

completely agree!! I read somewhere that it was a 100k camera, and you dont get glossy celebrity photos worthy to be on cover with just any camera
