Giants baller and 2008 Superbowl champion Plaxico Burress is in hot ass water this week. He was suspended a few days ago for one game and there was no word on why. Until reports came out about recent charges of domestic violence against his him by his wife Tiffany. Here’s the lowdown:
Records show Tiffany Burress called police on June 2 following what she said was an argument with her husband. When officers arrived, she claimed he had grabbed her. He, in turn, said his wife slapped him in the face.
No charges were filed, but Municipal Judge Terence P. Concoran granted Tiffany Burress a temporary restraining against her husband.
The order was later dismissed by a state Family Court judge in Paterson, police said.
Police were called again on Aug. 19. According to a report of the incident, Tiffany Burress left her husband at a New York nightclub after the two got into an argument there. Plaxico Burress arrived home later and began playing loud music, it says.
Citing the couple’s small child, Tiffany Burress called police to the house, records show. She got another municipal order against her husband — which also was dismissed at the state level.

Plaxico didn’t report these charges against him to the NFL, which breaks the rules. All charges must be reported. He also had an unexcused absence last week. But as of yesterday, the Giants say they won’t lift the suspension, but they are reducing his fines. WTF? What’s really hood Plaxico and Tiffany?

Ok here’s my take on the domestic violence thing…. I work in a courthouse and on a daily basis I see women call the police on their men for the smallest thing (supposedly to teach them a lesson) but as soon as they make bail, they take them back as if nothing ever happened. Why call the police if you’re just going to let him back in? That bugs the hell outta me! And did he even hit her? It said he grabbed her and yelled at her but were any licks passed?

I don’t get the problem here. It doesn’t look like violence ever took place. As a former Social Worker, I get piss when people make a mockery of the sytem. I’m all for preventative measures but this seems overly premature. I’m in GA so big ups to Big Boi.

No it effs with ALL…even the ones you don’t think its effin with. From personal experience, the best man in the world will turn into a selfish jerk if you get him in the NFL.
Some women are okay with it, they take their money and DO THEM. Some women are flat out NOT okay with it (me) and steer clear of athletes (ugh..ya’ll can HAVE ‘em). and then there are those women who THINK they can handle it, but really cant (see exhibit Plaxico and wife). Sucks when you find out you fall int he last category after you’ve ALREADY dang fell in love.

If Plax is smart, he will cut his losses NOW and leave this Bish! Real talk, yea every couple goes through things but calling the police on your man (A BLACK MAN no less) when he didn’t raise a hand to you, just cause you mad for whatever, is a clear indicator that she wants to do this brother harm.
We have many women out here like this who will actually be jealous of their own man!!! Go figure!!! When I read she called the police for this man playing loud music in the house HE bought, well, that just says it all. She a spoiled bish who don’t deserve nothing. Bet dollars that at the end of the day, she’s just bitter and jealous of her own husband…

It says Tiffany “left Plaxico at a New York club” She probably caught him cheating…or in the process of cheating and flipped the hell out. Plaxico came home acting like nothing happened and she got even more pissed. I think this is a clear example of an NFLer’s head getting SWOLE. Cheating, especially blatant cheating, will make ANY woman go insane.

Tiff is no joke. She’s a lawyer, and worked in a law firm back in Pittsburgh before they moved to NY. She worked there with a friend of mine. Rumor has it, she knew Plex cheated on her even back then, bt she thought he would settle down once they were married. The people I knew that worked with her all liked her. He’s in big trouble if she files for divorce. After the restraining orders and everything, she could take every penny.

Actually I was at the club that night n the only ppl around him in VIP were other Giants guys n [i]her[/i] friends. I know a few of em and I wouldn’t be surprised if she blacked out over nothing. But thats just what I saw. ;) N he’s been in MIA the last 2 weeks…if it was that bad he woulda bounced back to NY. They good.
