Well it looks like little Miss Raven Symone is hot and pissy thanks to rumorville. She’s screaming–the all caps damn near blinded me trying to read this ish–on her official myspace blog about the recent rumors about her. And she shuts them down and talks about the rumors of her being engaged, her weight, being a lesbian, and not having any friends. Still can’t believe I was first. Raven was right on alot of points. America is too caught up with looks. We nit pick at any and every little thing on alot of celebs. Majority of the people on the blogs probably don’t have room to talk about no one. BUT they do because they are BEHIND a computer. I’ve always been a HUGE fan of Raven’s. I admire her for her talents, business ventures, and positive attitude. I remember when her show first premiered. I was in the 11th grade. I fell in love with it. It was something fun and different. Raven isn’t afraid to think outside the box. I’m glad she keeps her personal like to herself. Ex. boyfriends, family issues,and etc. People can down Raven all they want but she is steadily climbing that ladder of success and she is ONLY 22.

Raven, whatever! that is why you are adressing all these rumors…it is because you want the damn attention! the weight issue I can agree with to a certain degree. let’s face it, she is in an industry that looks upon appreance as important.. so since that is what you signed up for then expect to be talked about. I think she is getting a little to big, but if she likes it then that is all that matters. while it is important to embrace who you are and what you look like, let’s not forget that obesity in the African-American community is a problem, so it is not really responsible to tell people it is ok to be big if they are suffering from heatlh issues as a result of the obesity.

I believe that was the whole point of her post. She is not obese or un-healthy and because she is not a size 2 she is being treated like she is un-healthy and un-attractive neither of which is true. If the beauty standard was not challenged Halle Berry would not be considered the “Sexiest woman alive” we wouldn’t have black miss america’s or people buying ass pads because now it’s popular to have a “donk” that not many years ago was considered unattractive by media outlets.

All size 12’s are not created equal, Raven is extremely big breasted and that creates a bigger image than what is true. Whenever I meet celebrities I alway notice how small they look compared to TV, but to each his own. What is considered fat in LA is thick in Oakland.
