Not a completely A-list red carpet, but folks showed up and showed out. Ciara and Keri Hilson hit the carpet looking fabulous.
Monica brought her man Rocko along.
The red carpet was complete with some serious WTF moments. Who is Haitian Fresh and why is this O.K.?
And it must have been Foolywang Chain Day as Shawty Lo, Gorilla Zoe, and Plies all brought the foolishness:

UPDATE: That ”mystery man” you are seeing with Melissa Ford is Devyne Stephens. You have probably heard of him but he is really big in the industry. He is based in ATL and has an artist development company and has worked with people like Usher and Fergie to name a few. He started off as a choreographer and moved on to artist development. The name of his company is Upfront Entertainment which is actually the label Akon is signed too. I hear he’s making in some serious serious mula and that is why Ms. Ford made him her new man.

MC Lyte made a fab appearance.
Jamal who is playing Biggie in the new Notorious movie hit the carpet.
And so did his co-star Derek Luke.
No sir T-Pain.
Salt-N-Pepa made an appearance.
And Yung Joc hit the carpet too.

Eric Snow’s Wife (One of those House Wives and I don’t remember her name) She needs to learn how to dress for her size. That gold skirt makes her look wide even from the side. I can’t imagine how it looks up front. Totally bad combination.

I see a lot of people tried but nobody delivered.
I disagree that Ciara’s looks is cute. The outfit looks very plain, no flavor at all. The belt does not go with it. Plus…she had a similar look at last year’s show. And that’s talk about the hair…the wig is too obvious. Her hair is never on point. She really needs to get a new stylist because the one she has now is NOT on point. She can look so much better if she would get her look right.
Keri Hilson is the only one that looks nice – UNTIL you get down to the shoes. She messed her look up with that.

the awards were actually good this year! their gonna have to do some editing courtesy of lil Wayne! But overall the awards were nice. All the celebs that I met were a lot nicer than I expected them to be! my highlight of the night….Salt and Pepa, Mc Lyte, Yo-YO and Lady of Rage performing!!! I’m only 24 but I remember all that ish! I was damn near dancing in the aisles! i was disapponted that Kat Williams didn’t host, but overall it was a great show!! Tune in to watch!

But it was an Atlanta event so I guess everybody came out. Lisa is really pretty but I’m not feelin her dress at all. I luv NeNe but not feelin her outfit for this even either. Deshawn did not add ANYTHING to the show; she just faded into the background. I am sure she is a nice person on a regular basis once you get to know her. But the way they edited the show really portrayed her in a somewhat boring & negative light on first impressions. One example- she currently runs a successful non-profit for young girls in Atlanta- but NOOO, Bravo focused on her hiring domestic staff & only speaking to the executive manager. None of these ladies are gold diggers; they just know how to get what they want!!! I dunno who I am disappointed with more; Bravo’s editorial staff or the individual ladies for allowing them to be portrayed this way.

I’m trying to figure out whether all the people that said most of these people looked nice were looking at the same people I’m seeing. All with the exception of a few (Common, Kerri Washington, Melissa Ford, Monica, Ciarra, and Fifty) looked really cheap and bedazzled down.
