• Rumor Control: Usher & Kelly Rowland Gettin’ It Poppin’?+50 Cent & Angel Lola Luv NOT A Couple?

Written by Natasha - Last updated: Tuesday, October 21, 2008

Word has it Usher has a lil boo he’s been secretly kickin’ it with–and it may be Kelly Rowland. Jawn Murray reported on the Tom Joyner Morning Show this week that The Raymonds are indeed riding on Splitsville Lane, just like TheYBF.com was the first to report a while back. And Ursh has actually moved on to spending lots of time on the low with a new celeb “friend”. Jawn wouldn’t reveal who it was, but he did say the mystery woman spends A LOT of time in Europe. And we all know how Kelly pretty much lives over there. YBF sources also report Kelly had a huge crush on him these last few years, and they’ve even partied together over in London.

We broke the exclusive MONTHS ago that Usher & Tameka were on Splitsville Lane, despite the false “happy couple” front they were putting up. And most people accused us of lying and making up stories, including Usher’s camp. But we stood by our story. Funny how these days everybody is hopping on the Splitsville bandwagon and saying the two are pretty much dunzo, despite the happy couple front they’re still putting on. Usher and Tameka rarely hit up events together these days, and when they do, insiders say they barely even speak to each other. Tameka will be delivering their second baby they have together next month, and people are predicting that will cause even more drama. As usual, we called it. And we’ll sit back and wait for the full story to reveal itself…

The real deal on the 50 Cent/Angel Lola Luv alleged hook up when you read the rest…

So 50 Cent and video vixen Angel “Lola” Luv caused a frenzy when they hit the BET Hip Hop Awards red carpet together this weekend. Rumors have been flying that the two are on new couple status (where you at Ciara?). But we’re not buying it.

A couple months ago, Angel confirmed that she is indeed releasing a mixtape on G-Unit’s label and we all know 50 loves to stir up publicity around his female artists (remember Olivia):

We also learned that Angel will be starring in a movie with 50 Cent very soon. So we’re going with publicity stunt. No candy shop loving there.

Although I think Usher and Kelly would make a beautiful couple, I doubt she would want to put herself in that situation … considering Usher’s M.O. I refuse to belive it until otherwise is proven.

No one cares about the other two.

I agree. Sometimes I wonder if it’s b/c so many of us are the product of single-mother homes or divorced parents that we don’t place the same value on marriage. I know that there are a good number of black people who do very well without both biological parents in the home but I just really think that it’s a blessing to have a mom and a dad that are in a sustainable, happy marriage. If anything, the comments should be along the lines of why in the hell did they bring children into this mirage of a marriage if these rumors are indeed true but maybe I’m asking for too much.

And as for Kelly and Usher, I’ll believe it until it’s proven not to be true…. Only because I have inside information. I don’t know either of them personally, but I do know someone who does; and based on some information they’ve told me, it’s more likely to be true than not.

Have to disagree. Toya I can tell you have never been in a divorce. They often take an extremely long time. In the Gabby Union case for example, the wife may be in a new relationship of her own by now. And how do we know that the WIFE wasn’t the one who ENDED it? Or that it wasn’t a mutually decided separation? Or that the WIFE was the one responsible for the demise of the marrage? I just feel the Usher/Tameka/Kelly situation is worst because Tameka is in a more vulnerable position than D.Wades wife was – seeing how she’s preggers and all. :( And YES I know wade and wife have kids too but just how some of you are saying can the divorce be final before Gabby dates Wads, for goodness sake- can TAMEKA have their CHILD first before daddy skips around Europe with another woman?? :?:

Okay…I see where you’re coming from in that the husband and wife are the ones to “wreck the home”, but I think both kelly and gabby are acting real sketch..NOT a good look, in fact it is never a good look to be involved with a married man no matter the stability of his marriage
No its not a good luck but it just seems as if ppl in general tend to put the blame on the “other woman” when the husband should be taking most of the blame. He is the one who stood in church and took vows to be with that woman for better or worse. That “other woman” didnt take those vows.
In my opinion, whoever is doing the cheating (whether is husband and skank or wife and man-skank) are to blame. The other woman/man didn’t take vows but that doesn’t excuse his/her behavior either. He/She obviously doesn’t RESPECT the sanctity of marriage but still. And if the rumors about Gabby and D-Wade are true, then I’m side eyeing Gabby because what kind of woman WILLING pursues something with a man when you KNOW he’s still married? Is your snatch that on fire that you can’t wait until the divorce is final?
You covered it all girl-ditto!
yes.
K, just making sure…b/c it seemed as though a lot of people were congratulating kelly….
I don’t consider either Gabrielle or Kelly as homewreckers because the marriages were both “on the outs” before either women got involved with the men they’re supposedly dating.

And as for Kelly and Usher, I’ll believe it until it’s proven not to be true…. Only because I have inside information. I don’t know either of them personally, but I do know someone who does; and based on some information they’ve told me, it’s more likely to be true than not.
Well regardless if it’s on the outs or not, we all remember what happened to Brittney when she went with KFed while Shar was pregnant………the kharma that will hit Kelly, and Lahd knows she ain’t even on top music-wise or financially like Brittney, so she can’t even withstand this kharma, she would be in the po’ house for sure! Not even the protection of the Creole voodoo could combat that!
Now, that’s funny! LOL

But the difference with Brittney and K-Fed is that he wasn’t married to Shar. I don’t even think it was kharma with Brit. I think she was in love with a Zero that brought her down to his level. Kelly, on the other hand, doesn’t stand for bs, and she may not be a big hit in the US, but they love her overseas. So, she’s probably not going to go broke.

And according to Jawn Murray this morning, Usher has been living in the house he had before he and Tameka got together. They’ve been separated for a while, and Usher has been trying to hold out on making their breakup public (although he is miserable) so as to not make it seem like he’s abandoning his pregnant wife. Apparently, they were having problems when she got pregnant the second time.

I’m not justifying his right to date while he’s still married. Just stating what’s supposedly going on.

There’s a high rate of divorce because people go in for the wrong reasons. Don’t blame the institution, blame the persons. People are so quick to throw in the towel w/ any little problem now. And unfortunately, society promotes divorce, hell it’s a business.
To think that our grandparents (some, your parents) stuck it out and I’m sure they faced a lot more hardships back then than we are now, and they stuck it out. Why? Because they believed in their vows, that’s why.

There’s a high rate of divorce because people go in for the wrong reasons. Don’t blame the institution, blame the persons. People are so quick to throw in the towel w/ any little problem now. And unfortunately, society promotes divorce, hell it’s a business.

Maybe! Because im wondering if i would ever get married one day cause i never met any man that i feel he could be my soul mate even if i’ve already been in love! I know im still young but my parents or grand parents married real early! my mother married my father after knowing him for 6 monts ONLY!!!!!!! She did not play, she didn’t mess with nobody unless he has REAL intentions so at that point, they could not know they were soul mates! I guess, they respect their wows! But isn’t it about REAL LOVE!!!!

Nope because I don’t consider Gabrielle to be a homewrecker either.
I know a divorce can take a long time I ACTUALLY said that!
Oh aight. My bad then Toya. :)
Thanks to Jon B bringing up Robin Thicke, I am reminded of a quote I read from him in a recent article:

“I always say that marriage is easy– but love is a mother f****r,” he laughs. “When you truly love someone, you never stop compromising, learning from each other, listening to each other. The day you do, is the day that the love starts to disappear. So love is never a walk in the park. We’re always changing, but we do it together.

“My parents have each been through several divorces. And now, they’re both with the right person. My dad is now definitely with someone who’s a better pick for him than my mum was, and my mum is with someone who’s a better pick for her than my dad was.

“But my parents’ situation gave me an odd perspective of relationships. I always kind of prepared myself that divorce was an option. So years ago, my wife and I decided that we could never ever threaten a break up. Because as soon as you’re willing to say, ‘F*** it, I’m leaving’, then that’s what you’re willing to do. So now if we argue, it’s like, ‘F*** it, I’m going upstairs!’ So we’re all good. She’s my best friend in the world.”

I love it and I have always used that as a benchmark in my relationship. If I was not willing to put in the work, I stopped wasting my time. He was not the right person and I moved on.

Nah, i believe people our grandparents stuck it out because divorce wasn’t as easy to get and it was still a no-no to get divorced then, it’s just like abortion, i know half of us prolly wouldn’t be here if abortion was as available back in the days, lol.
Very true, but I do know of older women who will tell you about the issues w/in their marriage they faced and they all dealt w/ it differently. What I’m saying is that it’s so easy to jump ship these days w/o even putting in a fight. For every and anyone that wants to meet their soulmate, he might not even be in this (your) country. We (including myself) need to stop putting boundaries around our minds and hearts. Maybe that trip you keep putting off will be more than a vacation for you….maybe that place you said you’d never travel to, he’s there. Maybe that coworker you can’t stand, knows a guy that happens to be perfect for you. Or maybe you’re crossing his path everyday and don’t know. It’s crazy…..
All joking aside, it’s a damn shame that this couldn’t work out OR that they didn’t enter this union on the real! And it’s even sadder that THIS is a way of life…a big way of life for our own! Before trying to gain status with people or acquire THINGS why can’t we learn to love each other honestly and truly?!! What happened to ‘for better or for worse’, ‘through thick or thin’,…what happened to REAL LOVE!?!?…….on a side note, I WANNA RIP WITE-SKEEZ A NEW ONE SOOOO BADLY BUT….not gonna give that illiterate, WORLD WRECKER the satisfaction!!!

Ursh is sloppy seconds and used goods now. Ever since he hooked up with Tameka, he just turned me off. I particularly didn’t like the way he handled his mother. He wouldn’t even have a career if it wasn’t for her. I hope Kelly is smarter than this and will find a real man, not this untrained dog with two kids and a crazy soon to be ex-wife. As for 50, boo! He works my nerves and if Ciara really is dealing with him, she needs to get a clue! 50 ain’t right! Ciara needs to get a new stylist, get a fly cut that suits her like Rihanna and just step up her game, but first we’ve got to lose 50!

Did Tameka impregnate herself? Whe I keep hearing she GOT HERSLF PREGNANT then I get confused.

If its true, then it everyone involved is part of a bad situation. The kids have it worst.

Whatever Tameka looks like (i think shes ok) she did make the cutest baby with Usher. Childs so cute its unreal.
