Three sources inside The Wendy Williams Experience camp have dished to TheYBF.com that Wendy’s staff was fired last night. Her sidekick Charlemagne Da God and Trev Hollywood were specifically named as getting the ax and other behind-the-scenes folks were fired as well. Yesterday was their last show. They were told they would not be replaced and their positions will be eliminated completely. Damn! No word on if Goose has been fired as his name was not specifically mentioned.
We’re also told that Nicole Spence, the Talent Booking victim of those sexual harassment charges filed on Wendy and her husband Kevin, settled for an undisclosed amount of money and hasn’t worked at WBLS (the show’s home station) since she received that money. The whole crew treated her like an outcast after all the drama popped off. Our sources also confirm that the entire Wendy WIlliams Experience and Wendy herself are getting the axe in ‘09 as soon as her contract is up. And we called it months ago. You heard it here first.

Here’s the scoop from one of our extremely credible sources at WBLS:
…This is all backlash from what happened with Nicole. Wendy is only still there because she is still under contract. Once her contract is up it won’t be renewed. They were fired after the show was over last night. Basically wbls is really trying to save face now because they knew all along that Nicole’s story was true but never acted on in and they had to pay her a large sum of money. They are worried about what will happen with the ratings because they know that most people only listen because of Wendy. They took away her bonus hour and the ratings suffered and now they will be cutting jobs.
Basically, there won’t be any new people because Wendy’s not staying either. So this confirms our earlier exclusive that the Wendy is getting fired before or early in ‘09. Once again, we reported a while back here at TheYBF.com all of this would happen. But others called us liars.
I actually really like Wendy so this isn’t the most fabulous news to hear. But ish like this happens when people can’t act right with their employees behind the scenes. Oh, and I wouldn’t be getting to comfortable about the fact that her show on Fox got picked up either. We’ve heard rumblings….

I was axed after with no explaination, like she does all her people. I didn’t learn #### anyway, it just looks good on my resume now. She had also fired Art and Dave that used to be on the show, don’t know if yall remember Art (the originator of “How you doing”)

I just got an email with The Hudson obituary attached…it’s really sad that she had to put 3 family members to rest….
I read in the paper that Punk was there and that Fantasia tore the church up…she sung “Your Grace and Mercy”…
The mayor, Clive Davis, Missy Elliot,Oprah Winfrey, Queen Latifah and Jesse Jackson were all in attendance…

I get that vibe too. I do love Michael Baisden though. I used to listen to him everyday on my way home from work. Now, living in the middle of nowhere I don’t get any radio shows. I’m unemployed so I’m not as joyful as others on this site. I don’t see my job prospects improving regardless of who is the next president.
I have no doubt Obama will win. His election will restore the faith of the world and that is the most important at this time. The U.S. economy will take years to recover but how the world sees us will change immediately.
Go vote. Not for Obama but for those who died for you to have this right.
Although I’m not invested in this election due to distrust of all politicians, in a few hours one of the last remaining nooses around our necks will be lifted.
I’m not an Obama fan or supporter (I just vote whoever is on the Democratic ticket) but I am proud of what this man has and will accomplish. History in the making. I’m glad I’m here to witness it.

Wendy keep her no good husband after he cheated and he’s the reason she’s falling now. I’ve supported her for years for the fun of the show, but she gave him TOO MUCH power. He is a dog, you lay down with them you get fleas. Kevin is the reason for her downfall.

I think that it is extremely disingenuous of Wendy to get on the air and announce that Charlamane has been let go — and blame it on the economy. WBLS gave away over $250K last month in a listener giveaway. They are not broke. The only reason these people were let go was because of the lawsuit and having to settle it.
Wendy needs to learn two things from this, one, treat your staff well and they will treat you well. And second, when you reach into the garbage can to find a husband, that is what you will find, garbage for a husband.
And as for her TV show. She gets ahead of herself every single day with talking about how it will start next July. First of all, it has to be cleared on stations at the NATPE convention in January. If they cannot clear it in at least 50% of the country, it will not get on the air. That’s the nature of the business. If Wendy doesn’t know that then someone should tell her.
The bottom line is, if she loses this radio show, with nowhere else to go, she is going to have a heck of a time hyping that talk show and she knows it.
She should be ashamed of herself getting on the air and lying to her listeners about why these people, especially her sidekick, were let go. They were let go because the station had to pay off a sexual harassment suit caused by Wendy’s low-class husband, as well as Wendy’s own stupidity. Period.

It is unfortunate that Wendy has allowed her husband to single-handedly ruin a show that she has taken so many years to build. It is clear that she is obviously either brainwashed into believing that her husband is the one in the position of power, or she is truly in fear of him. Nicole would have to have some vivid imagination to have created all of the allegations in her lawsuit, and it is now public knowledge that the matter has been settled. No company will fork over a huge settlement if the allegations were not true. Wendy blatantly lied to the public when explaining Charlamanes dismissal from the show. Did you notice that she never mentioned any of the other show staff that was fired? Why? The only reason that Goose was not fired is they probably need him to continue to press the buttons in the meantime. Do NOT believe for one second that her employees were fired due to budget cuts and the economy. BS! this is just another one of Wendy’s many lies that she relies on us to believe. They were fired because they knew too much. Expect more lawsuits!
If Fox 5 is smart, they will stay as far away from Kevin and Wendy as possible or they will regret it for years to come.
