J-Hud’s Close Friend: Beyonce Hasn’t Reached Out To Jennifer At All!
Now we all know about the rumors in the past about Beyonce being jealous of J-Hud’s almost instant superstar status. Rumors of beef between the two flew everywhere. Especially when Jenny was getting Dreamgirls awards left and right when Beyonce was lucky if she even got nominated. Of course, the Knowles camp played the denial game to the tee. And now, Jennifer’s close friend James has called out Beyonce for accepting credit for going to the Hudson family funerals–when she was never even there. He says she hasn’t even reached out at all to her supposed friend Jennifer this entire time. Here’s what Superstar James just posted on his myspace page:

So i wasnt going to write about this but it is really really bugging me. Especially when people are calling my phone saying how nice it was of Beyonce to come to the funeral and show her support. And i have to sit back and hold everything i wanna say inside. But i cant do it no more. Beyonce did not come to the funeral nor did she call, text, send a card or hell send a damn email. If there are millions of people who are leaving Jennifer and Julia and myself messages and sending there prayers and condelences and these people don’t even know them why couldnt she? Every singer that Jennifer admires and had been a role model for her growing up even until now has called, from Aretha to Shirley Murdock to even present day singers like Chrisette Michelle. And yall know how much Jennifer loves Beyonce and she couldn’t even have her assistant call or nothing. But yet her camp is allowing her to recieve credit for coming to the funeral and being there for Jennifer and her family. Bullshit! This just pisses me off. Once again thanks to everyone who has be there for us. And sorry if i offended any of Beyonce fans by writing this but if i just couldn’t keep sitting back and reading articles and emails and having my phone ring about how nice it was of Beyonce to come out!

Julia Hudson puts out so much foolishness out there since this funeral, I dont blame anyone for not giving them the time of day. nt get me wrong. Beyonce would not acknowledge the relationship due to fear of how it would impact her male fan base which would have a financial impact as well. She built a career on being a survivor, indpependent woman and dogging men. So that image was contradictory.
Same for Jay-z who sang about pimping women, “Me give my heart to a woman, not fo rnothing” calling women b**ches and hos. SO for him now being in a relationship, this new image was contradictory.

I could of sworn but on People.com and bet.com both says that Beyonce says that she will talk to Jen personally and that she wanted to give her, her privacy and let her grieve….I mean thats what I read I could be confused or dont know how to read…..I think alot of people close to this tradegy is using this for publicity I have been wrong before and can be again I am just saying…I think that the media is playing a big role into there attention….They have so much on there plate that Beyonce coming, calling, or texting is the last damn thing they should be worried about…..

I like Bey and J-Hud. A few things:
1. We don’t really know what contact may or may not have made with J-Hud or her camp.
2. Just because people work on a movie project together, does not mean that they are friends.
3. Funerals are really for friends and family. Today people use celebrity related funerals and wakes as red carpets.
I think that J-Hud’s friend should focus on comforting Jennifer, not talking about Beyonce.

If she did attend the funeral, you would be saying she’s just using this as a way to gain more publicity. Whether or not Beyonce sent condolences is TRULY not what should matter at this point. This is a random person spouting on a Myspace blog. I have read three articles about the funeral and NONE of them mention Beyonce. I read ONE that does from some random news source. Beyonce and Jennifer worked together on ONE movie. It would have been common courtesy to reach out to Jennifer, but if she didn’t I don’t think that’s wrong. Why does it have to be that Beyonce is salty about something? Why is she always the villian? This BULLSHIT has got to stop!!!!!! Jen’s boy, James, needs to really worry about being a true friend to Jen in her time of mourning and not spreading lies!!!! First of all, Beyonce was NOT at the funeral this past Monday nor did her people say that she was there. Ok magazine published in their gossip mag that she was there. Beyonce was on the campaign trail w/ Jay, Mary J, & Diddy for Obama on the day of the funeral so please tell me how she could be two places at the same time. Duh!!! If you do not believe me, please take the time to you tube it. I am so sick of all the vile and ignorant comments made about her on this thread. She can never do anything right. Anything connected to Jen has to always be linked to Beyonce in a negative light. I will give her the benefit of the doubt because no one should tell anyone how and when to respond to someone who has loss loved ones. Just because she does not fit your standard on when she should talk to Jen or send flowers does not mean that she does not care. It’s possible that she could be giving her time and space to grieve. Well my take on the matter is … this is personal and everyone handles things differenly. I mean but really though, I love Beyonce to death but who gives a damn if she comes to a funeral or not. It’s about the familly and my Lord that is too much emphasis on Beyonce not showing.
My supervisor just lost her mother and another co-worker a father and that is a private, sensitive matter. I didnt go the the funeral, send flowers, or utter a word. It doesnt mean I dont care. it just means I dont want to overstep my boundaries and make it worst so silence and space is better for me.
I’m sure Beyonce cares. I really cant see someone being that insensitive about a death in the family because that ish could happen to her. But stop the damn pettiness about did she or did she not show. If the tables was turned for me, Beyonce, or anyone elso … again who gives a damn whose around.

That is SO true. The company that I used to work for still has a HR manager that used to throw out applications because the applicants name was horrible, wrong and sad, but true.

2. Beyonce is NOT OBLIGATED to give you a call or come to your funeral. everyone else from those casts did call her, that was also reported. he might have a slight issue with beyonce going into this, but it’s probably more than likely her name is being brought to his attention after the fact more than anything. He also says that many persons have been contacting him through emails and phone calls regarding her attendance. This does not surprise me because anyone who has ever worked with this girl has had some negative experience with her; especially if they were more talented than her in the smallest way. Why are we even “expecting” Bey to say anything, as tragic and upsetting as the events of the Hudson family have been? I find it kinda ironic how contradictory some folks are-they want Beyonce to go away or “sit down”, but then expect her to speak out. Beyonce was singled out because of the media reports stating she was there yet she niether are her publicist denying those claims. When you lose someone close to you, and you attend the funeral and later hear that someone attended who actually wasnt there and you are close friends with the griever there’s nothing wrong with dispelling the rumours.
Had the media stated that other cast members from projects she worked on were in attendance and they werent, I’m sure he would’ve said something about that as well.

You are the main one on a lot of Beyonce post, not really too positive, pretty sure you’re tired of “hearing and reading about her”..and yet you want Beyonce to release a statement about Jennifer Hudson’s personal tragedies. Yet if it was released you would be the main one sitting in here criticizing her, about it and attending the funeral trying to take the spotlight.
It amazes me when people like you take bits and pieces of a blog story and run with it, when it’s not even true. James is NOT a friend of Jennifer Hudson’s. This story is FALSE. Why make this about Beyonce? Have you heard anything about the rest of the castmates of Dreamgirls and everyone who is connected to Jennifer Hudson? State the facts, personal feelings aside. You still haven’t answered that you and others are so quick to jump on any little story that is negative towards Beyonce, even though it is clearly a lie made up by this person to get spotlight.
Let me break it down to you why people are so angry, or think this is a stupid and pointless rumor that shouldn’t be given the time of day, especially from a black blog that claims to promote fabulousness. Since you are Obama’s number one stan, I’m sure you followed when the GOP created lies and smears about Obama and Ayers. Even when the GOP was connected to Ayers themselves on abigger level. Now a person who didn’t research the facts, would have believed any old thing about Obama being a terrorist based off of the lies that were told about him. People like Elizabeth Hasselbeck would defend the GOP no matter WHAT THE FACTS were, and bash Obama, even when the GOP was connected, but they didnt’ call out the GOP they called out Obama, and ONLY Obama. I am a Beyonce fan but I also know what is right and wrong. Wasn’t the funeral “invitation” only? We obviously saw Beyonce was nowhere near Chicago because she was greeting voters in line. I’m sure her people wouldn’t put it out there that she was at a funeral when her whereabouts can be visably accounted for.
Another thing how does her friend James know every single call that JHud received, every card that was received. When my brother passed R.I.P. even though he wasn’t a celebrity, our family was flooded with cards, flowers, food, and whatever else people could think of. There were cards I didn’t see until weeks later so there could be so many factors of this we don’t yet know. Just because the media says one thing or a friend speaks of something doesn’t mean ir rings true. Was he sitting there with a check list of who did and didn’t call or send a card. This woman has lost the three closest people she could lose and instead of worrying about Beyonce, they need to be trying to get Julia some help because the girl is obviously aching and doesn’t know what to do with herself. I was on her side saying she probably just needed something to take her mind of the pain, but she’s acting as though she didn’t lose her mother, her brother, and her ONLY child. She’s too busy being a “star” and that should be what James is focused on.
