Keyshia Cole is looking fabulous on the cover of Billboard magazine this week. She chats about her upcoming LP A Different Me dropping December 16th and the return of her reality show “The Way It Is”. I also hear she’s shopping around the idea of offering her life story up for a movie.
Beyonce is covering the debut issue of New York Observer Style. Here’s a quote about how her mother is her fashion inspiration:
“”I looked at her like a therapist and a makeover queen – the perfect glamorous smart woman. People would walk in, talk to her and tell her their issues and they’d walk out feeling and looking like a new woman. She’d get us little jackets and we’d go to an art supply store and we’d get stones and glitter and we’d personalize a lot of our clothes. She taught me the importance of looking good and feeling good but also that beauty comes from within, because it fades.”

I literally cannot stop laughing at “glitter”. I am just so not surprised by this. The issue hits stands November 16th.
Also, MySpace Music is going to be exclusively premiering Beyonce’s new album, beginning at 12:01amPT tomorrow — a full week before anyone else. This will be going up in 20 countries and only found on MySpace Music for the next week. The album goes live at 12:01amPT, tomorrow morning.

Beyonce is not playing! When she comes out with an album, she makes sure everybody and their momma knows but I don’t blame her. Wish her much success and I will be copping that album come November 14th.
P.S. I saw the trailer for Cadallic Rules when I went to go Soul Men and it looks really good, she looks like she is giving acting her best shot this time.

As Bey stan #10 I have several songs off the cd and they are ok the few I have heard for I Am Beyonce side sounds like the same beat over and over but with different lyrics and too pop.
I am Sasha side sounds like Bday at times.
I am a true Bee fan but she left the side of music that made her famous DIL made her famous and won her five Grammys. I don’t want another DIL just a more R&B driven one.

mkay well the targeted demographic for Vibe must tap out at 28 cuz I’m 29 and am miffed at Plies of all random C list rappers being on the cover. With all the big artist releasing albums in Nov…couldn’t one of them had been on the Dec cover? as for B… i wasnt impressed with the BDAY album (and i bought the deluxe BDAY album maybe 10months to a year after and it still was so so). sure the spanish cd sounded really nice, but the english cd was uhhh. all the songs sounded alike, and like she rushed it. afterall she did make the cd in 2 weeks. I wish I had the kissing you song on it. B did a good cover with that song, but it was taken out of the deluxe album.

In desperation, Beyonce’s peeps have leaked another track from the dismal I Am… Sasha Fierce album which drops next week, I think.
This track is titled “Smash Into You,” and yes, it’s another bonus track from the 2nd disc. I didn’t listen to it, because I’m sure it’s a yawner like the other tracks I’ve already heard.
