Remy Ma Wants OUT!+Usher Gives Baby Details!
Remy Ma has made her list and is checking it twice. Her Christmas list consists of GTFO of jail. Her lawyers are now appealing her conviction saying the judge in the case committed errors–leading her to being found guilty of shooting her “friend” Makeda Barnes and ending up in the slammer since March of this year:
At issue specifically, were the judge’s instructions regarding the testimony of Remy’s victim, Makeda Smith-Barnes, who was shot by the rapper outside a New York City nightclub during an argument over $3000.
In closing arguments on March 24, Remy’s attorney Ivan Fisher argued that Smith-Barnes’ testimony actually supported his client’s explanation of the shooting as an accident.However, the jury was instructed that if they believed the victim to be “truthful and accurate,” under the law, her words were enough to establish reasonable doubt.
Additionally, Fisher was barred by the court from arguing that the shooting in fact occurred during a struggle for the .45 caliber automatic handgun which, allegedly resulted in Smith-Barnes being shot in the abdomen at close range.
These two instructions, the appeal states, amounted to a “directed verdict,” which they say should be examined as more than just accidental error.

And Usher has finally revealed the details surrounding his new baby. His wife Tameka Raymond will be delivering their second BOY together on December 15th to be exact. Just in time for a Christmas bundle of joy. Ursh finally revealed the details he’s been keeping on the hush to Stevie Wonder on Stevie’s radio show this week. He says they haven’t finalized a name, but they’re open to suggestions from the public. Congrats to the Raymonds.

Okay, so this is what I wanted to tell you all…
Dude (baby dizzle) called me last night to “see how I was doing” right.. so I was sleepy and kind of blew him off, so this nig gone have teh nerve to ask, not ask, but tell me I should let him come over so we can talk. Now, ladies, please tell me why he thinks that I Should do anything?!! I was like.. We’ll see about that…
NO WAY, NO HOW is that gonna happen.. I already know how this is gonna turn out, and I don’t even want to go down that road…
So , I get to work and go into my meeting, and the receptionist pulls me out to tell me I have a visitor.So I walk out of the Conference room to him standing there with a fake rose and a smile… I don’t know why, but it pissed me off. First of all, he looked like he just hopped off the BUM bus, with his doo-rag on… not only that but he had on a long john shirt with windsuit pants..WTF????
I refuse to settle for that again.I know I messed up and now have a baby by this man, but I refuse to stay in that..I know alot of females who have stayed with men because of children and they regret it deeply… AM I WRONG?? I have my eye on the prize and I will not continue to settle…..

First of all, girl, hell no don’t settle for less! I know he’s your baby’s father but he’s wack. You are on your way to doing great things and I feel, even though I don’t know him, that he will hold you back. Don’t deny him his son, but don’t get back with him. You two are adults and you seem like you have a good head on your shoulders so I know that you will work out a way for him to be involved in Dakota’s life.

I refuse to settle for that again.I know I messed up and now have a baby by this man, but I refuse to stay in that..I know alot of females who have stayed with men because of children and they regret it deeply… AM I WRONG?? I have my eye on the prize and I will not continue to settle…..

You are on your way to doing great things and I feel, even though I don’t know him, that he will hold you back. Don’t deny him his son, but don’t get back with him. You two are adults and you seem like you have a good head on your shoulders so I know that you will work out a way for him to be involved in Dakota’s life.
Plus, he gets a big minus for showing up at your place of employemnt looking like a bum. Doesn’t he know you are at a business and have an image to uphold. Ughh!!! He pissed me off when I read that.[/quote]

Anyhoo, don’t mean to be harsh but it just upsets me sometimes that my sista’s get pregnant for BUMS! Like, didn’t you see that when you were laying w/ him? And now these kids are growing up w/o their fathers. It’s just sad. I’m 29 and my ex and I bumped into each other (while in JA) and he’s like, yuh nuh have no pickney yet? I’m like “No, when I find a man that puts me in a house for his future son/daughter then I’ll have plenty of babies.” He’s like “no no, you ain’t gonna have none then, you better hurry up cuz ya clock is ticking.” All I’m thinking is, this fool got 3 kids, by 3 different chicks. Granted he financially takes care of every last one of them and the mothers, but he’s out in the street, he ain’t spending time w/ them and I don’t want that. I want a man that gets pleasure from being a father and spending time w/ his kid(s). As women, we have to learn seperate a good f*ck from the bum that he is. If that means I won’t be having kids than so be it. Don’t mean to offend anyone, I know there’s a lot of mom’s on this blog. I just hate to see the outcome of bad choices that affect the kids that come from it.

I know what you mean and sometimes you are just caught up in the moment.
Trust me that is no excuse.
With my 1st son, we were together for 4 years before I got preg and of course he wasn’t planned but I never expected for us to end.
Now with my 2nd son, I was in love and engaged months before I got preg.
But I know plenty of women that get pregnant by these losers.
Some don’t show their true colors until the woman is preg but we have to do better by wrapping it up and taking our birth control.

I want a man that gets pleasure from being a father and spending time w/ his kid(s). As women, we have to learn seperate a good f*ck from the bum that he is. With my 1st son, we were together for 4 years before I got preg and of course he wasn’t planned but I never expected for us to end.
Now with my 2nd son, I was in love and engaged months before I got preg.
But I know plenty of women that get pregnant by these losers.
Some don’t show their true colors until the woman is preg but we have to do better by wrapping it up and taking our birth control.[/quote]

Why can’t he get his ish together for the sake of the child. He had a job when I met him and it was all gravy.. Why would I have someone in my life that is worthless? Why should my children suffer. There are plenty children out there who are better off without the real dad around. I am one of them..My real father was a jerk and I’m glad that he os not around.. he denied me from the moment I was born. I’d rather my child to call a nother man dad, than to subject him to the foolishness of his real father.

I know Toya and I DON’T feel all black women who are in this situation were dealing w/ bums. I know in general that sometimes it’s not even the woman. However tho, I feel some women just be so stupified by the d*ck that they think a baby is the next best thing. My mom got pregnant w/ me at 15 and she grilled me from the time I was knee high why I have my whole life ahead of me and I should look at a man’s family (and him) before I have a child for him. I just wish, for the possibilty of a future child w/ a dummy, that women, especially black women, would look w/ their eyes and not their heart cuz we all know our heart is connected to our puzzy.

Anyhoo, don’t mean to be harsh but it just upsets me sometimes that my sista’s get pregnant for BUMS! Like, didn’t you see that when you were laying w/ him? And now these kids are growing up w/o their fathers. It’s just sad. I’m 29 and my ex and I bumped into each other (while in JA) and he’s like, yuh nuh have no pickney yet? I’m like “No, when I find a man that puts me in a house for his future son/daughter then I’ll have plenty of babies.” He’s like “no no, you ain’t gonna have none then, you better hurry up cuz ya clock is ticking.” All I’m thinking is, this fool got 3 kids, by 3 different chicks. Granted he financially takes care of every last one of them and the mothers, but he’s out in the street, he ain’t spending time w/ them and I don’t want that. Trust me that is no excuse.
With my 1st son, we were together for 4 years before I got preg and of course he wasn’t planned but I never expected for us to end.
Now with my 2nd son, I was in love and engaged months before I got preg.
But I know plenty of women that get pregnant by these losers.
Some don’t show their true colors until the woman is preg but we have to do better by wrapping it up and taking our birth control.[/quote]
Another thing and I’ll be finished my rant. A lot of people (not talking about any specifically) will say well you should’ve been married, etc. That isnt a guartanee than a man will be a good father, provider, etc. My best friend was married for seven years. The two children that she had with her husband were planned. She took care of him and home. She never suspected anything and found underwear in his car. She confronted him and the next morning he was gone. She couldnt find him. After a few months he popped back up. In total its been almost two years since he walked out and he still hasnt given her a dime for their children. Yes women need to make better choices, but parents need to raise BETTER MEN!
