Michael Vick Gets A Break+Whitney’s New Legal Drama
According to reports, Michael Vick pleaded guilty on those dog fighting charges just as planned yesterday. The pleas cleared the only outstanding charges against Vick, a move that could lead to an early release from prison to a halfway house. Federal law prohibits prisoners from being released to a halfway house if they have charges pending. Vick could be released to a federal halfway house up to six months early. He told the judge:
“I want to apologize to the court, my family and to all the kids who looked up to me as a role model.”

Whitney Houston is involved in some new legal drama. No crack or pipes involved though. Apparently Whitney was the beneficiary to her now late father’s estate. The money was supposed to be used to pay off debts of his and the rest was supposed to go to her stepmother Barbara. Barb says she hasnt received a damn thing and she’s suing. Show me the receipts!
Word has it Warren Sapp hauled off and threw his DWTS competitor Derek Hough against the wall during one of their final group practices. He got pissy that people were empathizing with him about him not picking up the dance steps quick enough. And he was mad the dancers told him he should have showed up to practice on time and maybe he would have gotten it. So the remedy: Throw a dude against the wall and start a fught. Classy. Brooke Burke beat out Warren to win the entire competition last night.

I think he should be able to play again too. He was young and dumb and made a terrible mistake. He has paid his debt to society, and he should be allowed to move on. The NFL and NBA should provide these young men with mentors to help guide them early on in their careers.
