Okay, so my spiral curls were lookin a mess, so I wanted to do them over. I bought the cold wave rods and started to do them over in my head Sunday night..Them bitches were not working!! I WAS SOOO HEATED. Then I bought the spiral curl rods to try those..but it was sooo damn complicated…My hair is really thick and I love it..but I want to do different things with it and it seems like only my stylist will be able to do it..but I want to save time and money by doing it myself. It really frustrates me.. :sad:

I did that when I got tired the first time..the prob with that is when I take them out. My stylist has to use two relaxers to straighten it and braids damage my hair..I think if it keeps acting up I’ll go head and do a cornrow style..

I am pleased as punch to see the Obamas on mag covers, so don’t take it as hate when I say Essence did a God-awful job of cropping those pictures for the covers. The pictures look terrible against the background. You can see the white background from the original photo in Michelle’s hair and the outline of their forms.
