All of the biggest names in fashion have submitted exclusive sketches to First Lady-Elect Michelle Obama and First Daughters Sasha and Malia hoping she will choose one of them as her Inauguration gown. Most of them are simply beautiful and regal and she will pretty much shut down any chick in the place even thinking of out-rocking her. Check it:

I absolutely adore the sketch by Oscar de la Renta. The use of red, white and blue between the three first women is subtle yet amazing. They will all look stuning but not overdone in this ensemble. Each dress is age appropirate, the white accenting the beautiful body Mrs. Obama has worked on, the blue creating a princess feel for Sasha and the short red red dress if perfect for little Malia. I am hoping her magnificent team of stylists will go with this look.

I LOVE the badgley mischka, the isaac (especially the colors for Michelle and the girls), the Carolina Hererra (in a golden yellow), and I love the oscar as well.
I love Diane, but not for Michelle- she doesn’t have enough boobs to make it work. And I love the Chanel, but meh on the black…pretty dress though.

She loves adornment and embellishment on her dresses. Plus, chick can rock color like nobody’s business. I can see her rocking the Isaac Mizrahi. It’s feminine, soft, embellished and such an unexpected color. The Monique Lullier is flat out gorgeous, but I think the color is too predictable for Lady O.

Same ol’ girlfriend wanting to be wife role every movie but I did like the break up and I wanna see Marley and Me. First and foremost Betsey Johnnson play too damn much…hot assed mess indeed. Now on to more important matters the best being Monique lhuillier and Oscar De La Renta..Runners up Isaac Mizrahi, Karl Lagerfeld, Marc Jacobs, Micheal Kors, Elise Tahari, Kai Miller and the first one by Nicole Miller. I think that these fit her body type a lot better than the rest.

I love the Monique Lhuillier gown, I gasped when I saw it. She is such a great designer, I saw a dress she made a few years ago for Kevin Costner’s wife (the white guy from bodyguard), and I tore out the picture for my daughter to look at one day when she decides to get married. I think she should go with Isaac…simple elegance is always where it’s at. Plus, he’s in Target so it would give that glamorous but approachable message Michelle is becoming known for. Having a high-end foreign design might not be the best way to go given the economic crisis. I wish Donna Karan would’ve submitted something…she’s got some good looks that would compliment Michelle nicely.

My favorites are: Carolina Herrera, Karl Lagerfield (Chanel), Oscar de la Renta (not the little girl dresses though) and Badgley Mischka.
Badgley Mischka is killin’ it with those dresses. I saw the burgundy one and just about dropped. All others paled in comparison. First Lady Obama will pick something absolutely fab because she is a true YBF but I’d give up two years salary for those Badgley Mischka designs.

In the past her fashion choices have tended to not be household name designers….she has branched out with lessor known brands…so I would not be shocked if she did so for the ball as well. Diane Von Furstenberg’s design is elegant, Oscar de la Renta’s is simple, but elegant and I like Karl Lagerfield’s creation. I hope someone comes up with something elegant like you would wear at a black and white ball. She needs something soft, not hard like the two Christian Lacroix. I agree, they are a bit over the top; too much extra!

Michelle O is Chanel! I LOVE LOVE LOVE her classiness (but she’s still so relateable). its almost like she’s a robot because she seems so perfect! My mom went to say something about a ponytail she wore on a talk show, and I SHUT HER DOWN!! I risked getting the taste slapped outta my mouth (you know how black mamas do) because I wouldn’t let her talk about my Michelle that way.
Go with the Chanel… its been a while since Chanel has had a real lady worthy of its originator, Coco. (there’s me, but I can’t afford it… lol.)

We loved the Red gown!!! HOT!! Glamorous, elegant,but very first lady. We are very happy to see such a very strong, beautiful women to stand by a great man. We hope to see a great change in this very sad country. We need a lot of change and a lot of help. We hope that we will see a brighter future for our children. There little girls are adorable and I am sure they will make us all proud to have voted for them. Here is to a better tomorrow for you, me and our beautiful children. Thank You Rita
