I think most women foot problems are from tight shoes. I wear an 8 1/2 & when i was younger i was into that “i don’t want my feet to look big” BS, thankfully i don’t have any corns or such but now i have shoes from size 8 1/2 – 11 in my closet. Comfort is my 1st priority now-a-days.

a friend of mine had bunions removed from both feet at the same time and was laid up for months and couldn’t wear heels for at least a year!
comfort was always my priority so i made sure my shoes were fitting me properly.

Not neccessarily Kay. I love driving moccassins and these ones that I bought from J. Crew were irritating the hell out of that bone area where bunions form. I had to literally stop wearing them and they’re flat shoes. My heels never gave me issues in that area.

My mom had it done years ago and it left ugly surgical scars on her feet. My Grandmother has the biggest bunions I’ve ever seen! But she’s from the country (North Carolina) and said that she never wore shoes as a kid.

Red Velvet Cupcake Recipe via McCormick.
Makes 30 (1 cupcake) servings.
Prep Time: 20 minutes
Cook Time: 25 minutes
INGREDIENTS
2 1/2 cups flour
1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened
2 cups sugar
4 eggs
1 cup sour cream
1/2 cup milk
1 bottle (1 ounce) McCormick® Red Food Color
2 teaspoons McCormick® Pure Vanilla Extract
Vanilla Cream Cheese Frosting (recipe follows)
DIRECTIONS
1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Mix flour, cocoa powder, baking soda and salt; set aside.
2. Beat butter and sugar in large bowl with electric mixer on medium speed 5 minutes or until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs, 1 at a time. Mix in sour cream, milk, food color and vanilla. Gradually beat in flour mixture on low speed until just blended. Do not overbeat. Spoon batter into 30 paper-lined muffin cups, filling each cup two-thirds full.
3. Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until toothpick inserted into cupcake comes out clean. Cool in pans on wire rack 5 minutes. Remove from pans; cool completely. Frost with Vanilla Cream Cheese Frosting.

15 mos….that little girl woke up wanting milk, i gave her milk….then she wanted to talk so I turned on the TV… that little monster got up and started dancing to barney on my bed at 3 am. I was like if you wanna stay up and watch TV do it in your crib in your room. She did that for about 30 mins then started crying, I brought her back in my bed and she was just all over the place so I made it pitch black in room and went to sleep on her….she figured it out I guess :roll:

She did that for about 30 mins then started crying, I brought her back in my bed and she was just all over the place so I made it pitch black in room and went to sleep on her….she figured it out I guess :roll:[/quote]

My bed is against a wall so when she has to climb over me to get down…she tries but I always catch her. She got outta her crib once so I lowered that sucka and now she just scream “moooom-meeeeeeee”. I can’t wait to get married and have kids…I want at least 2, no more than 3. I want a boy first and then a girl and then a boy…lol. I have their names picked out too. I hope that my husband has a non-ethnic, non-ghetto name so my son can be a junior. My babies will have a chance before, during and after their job interviews (lol). If not, my first son will be Tyler Sean Whatever Our Last Name is, my daughter will be Taylor (I haven’t figured out the middle name, but I was thinking Morgan or Reagan) Whatever Our Last Name is and my youngest son will be named Jeremiah Anthony Whatever Our Last Name is. I am definitely a visionary and dreamer! :)

I can testify to that…that happened to me at an interview a few months ago. When I walked in, the look on his face was priceless. The interview lasted 12 minutes…no exaggerations.

I’m 30 and I’ve been wearing high heels on the daily ever since I can remember and I don’t have any bunions or corns. The only time I remove my heels is when I’m working out with my trainer, and that’s only because he makes me. I’m more comfortable in heels than in flats. Gradually beat in flour mixture on low speed until just blended. Do not overbeat. Spoon batter into 30 paper-lined muffin cups, filling each cup two-thirds full.
3. Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until toothpick inserted into cupcake comes out clean. Cool in pans on wire rack 5 minutes. Remove from pans; cool completely. Frost with Vanilla Cream Cheese Frosting.
Tips
Vanilla Cream Cheese Frosting: Beat 1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened, 1/4 cup (1/2 stick) butter, softened, 2 tablespoons sour cream and 2 teaspoons McCormick® Pure Vanilla Extract in large bowl until light and fluffy. Gradually beat in 1 box (16 ounces) confectioners’ sugar until smooth.

I did a seminar with Susan Taylor about three years ago. She is AGELESS and looked absolutely radiant! You don’t even notice her hair when you meet her.
She is truly an inspiration…

I wish I was there in the room with them. I’m a fan of Roland Martin’s I be seeing him on CNN. I wonder what Susan and Oprah was looking up at in pic 4? Kevin Powell looks good. That do not look like a cake it looks like books sitting on a table. Damn whoever made that cake did a very good job.
