Remember that Bobby Brown autobiography we were dropping juicy leaks from a while back? Well Bobby was not happy with how people reacted to his stories about Whitney’s crack habit and his sexcapades with other industry chicks. So he backed out of the deal apparently, when the book was almost finished. But his co-author Derrick Handspike decided to finish it up and release it anyway. DRAMA! The book hit store shelves today and Derrick reveals in the Foreword all the drama behind the book being published.
And in sad news, actor D’Angelo Wilson was found dead of an apparent suicide hanging. No details have been discovered just yet. D’Angelo played DJ Iz in the 8 Mile movie. He also had small roles in The Salon, CSI: NY, Outside Man and others. R.I.P.

When I was college I went through a phase like that…I guess it has something with me being molested and never truely feeling accepted….Eventually I prayed myself out of that feeling…..and God has allowed to accept myself….and that’s all that really matters!!!

I have to respectfully disagree. Suicide is cowardly and selfish. God never gives you more than you can bear. Even when life seems unbearable, you have to go thru the storm and the fire to get to your peace. Life ain’t easy and it’s not always fair. It’s sad this young brother thought suicide was the only way

Yes, i think that’s very selfish of people to commit suicide, his poor family that now has to deal with this, the ones who are gonna beat themself up because they just saw him, talked to him but didn’t see the signs, now their conscience will be messing with them.

That’s the thing….early last year this girl I grew up with committed suicide. She has two children and was preggo with another. Killed herself because her man left her at the alter. But her oldest daughter is 16 and when they had wake, that girl was so torn. She got up to talk and said “as much as I love my mom I also hate her. She gave up her life for a man and left me and my sis behind…so damn selfish”. Thats the thing….this girl has been through so much emotionally because of that

Don’t say that Bella. Suicide is quite the opposite. I’ve been depressed and i’ve contemplated it but I opted out because living is all about dealing with your demons..inner and outer. Life is a one shot deal. Once its over..there aint no second time arounds…

That’s the thing….early last year this girl I grew up with committed suicide. She has two children and was preggo with another. Killed herself because her man left her at the alter. But her oldest daughter is 16 and when they had wake, that girl was so torn. She got up to talk and said “as much as I love my mom I also hate her. She gave up her life for a man and left me and my sis behind…so damn selfish”. Thats the thing….this girl has been through so much emotionally because of that[/quote]

That’s how I felt when umm that dude Shakir died.He had two kids and he just was poof, gone.Like did he think about his kids being without a father?I don’t know what goes on in anybody’s life, but help is out there, you have to find help in order to be helped.It reminds of this poem by some guy about asking his friend asking “How is everybody doing without me now that I’m dead” and the friend says “Everybody is fine.” It’s kind of weird, but it makes a lot of sense if you read it.I need to find that poem.

In my senior year of high school, this girl that was soo sweet hung herself right in her backyard (Guyanese she was)..Everyone was fuckin shocked out of their minds cuz she was soo happy. Then when she did that…thats when all them secrets n shit came out about her..father got her pregnant..mother was abusing her (that one was true)..she had a little sister..Ended up burying her in her prom dress..bought her ticket and everything…that made me realize how important it is to cherish life. She had her whole life in front of her..then all in one day..Gone.

You know what…I always think that you must be at suuuch a low point where the thought of escaping your pain takes priority over everything else. But the fact is that many people–especially in our community–suffer from mental illness and either they or their families are too ashamed about it to seek help!

That’s the thing….early last year this girl I grew up with committed suicide. She has two children and was preggo with another. Killed herself because her man left her at the alter. But her oldest daughter is 16 and when they had wake, that girl was so torn. She got up to talk and said “as much as I love my mom I also hate her. She gave up her life for a man and left me and my sis behind…so damn selfish”. Thats the thing….this girl has been through so much emotionally because of that[/quote]

Man when I was in college there was girl who walked into the bayou….we had a had real bad storm and the bayou had overflowed….the girl found out her boyfriend was cheating on her, so she walked into the bayou…they say she came up like 3 times and people was trying to pull her out but she wouldnt reach for they help….
In her suicide letter she spoke how she couldnt go on w/o this dude…she was freshman and only 18….
If she only realize there way more dudes to come by….they ended up finding her body at the end of the bayou it was all decayed and eaten up from the catfish and crawfish and whatever else that’s in that water!!!

Yea man…I didn’t go to her funeral cuz it was too much..but they were like how her moms was just sitting there..not crying or anything…ah pure evil she is..but God got something for her..something real good.

That’s because a lot of f’d up stuff is happening in our communities and no one is airing it out. I still want to be a teacher, but I feel like I’m a f around and kill some of these parent. I remember this young black boy (14) committed suicide while walking his sister home from school. His mother tried to say it was kids teasing him in school calling him names. How about they found out it was her that was calling him names and she was beating the hell outta him. I mean who do you run to as a child when your own parent, the one that is supposed to protect you is hurting you. Got this dumb azz chicks letting men molest and beat they kids. Sad.

Suicide is just a trick of the enemy. If he can make you feel like there is no hope left and make you want to end your life then he has won. In God, our hope lies, and if he can get the focus off THAT and on your problem, then he can do all kinds of things to your mind. That is where the battle is. He knows that no anyone who commits suicide can not ask for forgiveness from the Father, so he wants as many people as he can with him in hell. God reserved hell for the devil, and the devil does not want to be there by himself…

That’s the thing….early last year this girl I grew up with committed suicide. She has two children and was preggo with another. Killed herself because her man left her at the alter. But her oldest daughter is 16 and when they had wake, that girl was so torn. She got up to talk and said “as much as I love my mom I also hate her. She gave up her life for a man and left me and my sis behind…so damn selfish”. Thats the thing….this girl has been through so much emotionally because of that[/quote]

Man when I was in college there was girl who walked into the bayou….we had a had real bad storm and the bayou had overflowed….the girl found out her boyfriend was cheating on her, so she walked into the bayou…they say she came up like 3 times and people was trying to pull her out but she wouldnt reach for they help….
In her suicide letter she spoke how she couldnt go on w/o this dude…she was freshman and only 18….
If she only realize there way more dudes to come by….they ended up finding her body at the end of the bayou it was all decayed and eaten up from the catfish and crawfish and whatever else that’s in that water!!![/quote]

Yes, i think that’s very selfish of people to commit suicide, his poor family that now has to deal with this, the ones who are gonna beat themself up because they just saw him, talked to him but didn’t see the signs, now their conscience will be messing with them.

I remember this young black boy (14) committed suicide while walking his sister home from school. His mother tried to say it was kids teasing him in school calling him names. How about they found out it was her that was calling him names and she was beating the hell outta him. I mean who do you run to as a child when your own parent, the one that is supposed to protect you is hurting you. Got this dumb azz chicks letting men molest and beat they kids. Sad.[/quote]

That’s what I thought.
It as a time in my life that I wasn’t living right and getting crazy depressed over it.
I love my life and I will never let it go.
I am beyond blessed and I thank God everyday for his love, mercy and forgiveness.

I second this sentiment. It is incredibly selfish!! There are people who get up every morning who are suffering from terminal diseases, mothers who bury their children, spouses who have to bury their other half, etc. and they find the courage and strength to get up everyday and live the life that God blessed them with. There is nothing but pain involved in suicide and that is extremely selfish to place that burden on the people who loved and nurtured you. It sucks!! But I do hope that his soul finds rest.

It is so sad that D’Angelo killed himself. I went to Kent State University with him and he kept to himself while in college. He was talented and loved acting. You could tell by the way he performed.

I went to college with De’Angelo @ Kent State University. He was really sweet but always seemed very troubled, but when he won the role in Antwone Fisher and then in 8 Mile, we thought maybe he’d found his way and his calling. Evidently not. This is a really sad moment for us all that knew him personally. A group of our friends created a tribute to him on Facebook. RIP De’Angelo, may the next life serve you better.
