Semi-new divorcee’ Star Jones was spotted sporting a huge diamond ring while out in the NYC yesterday:

She had a long lunch with Ivana Trump at La Goulue on Madison Ave. And when the paps asked what they discussed, Star snapped: “None of your business!” Is someone hiding something?
After divorcing GAl Reynolds a while back, Star started dating well known chef Herb Wilson a few months ago. I honestly hope everything works out for her this time around if that is–in fact–an engagement ring. Good luck with that Ms. Jones. And that hair line.

I posted it in the last post, but some of yall had dipped by then….
It will be a year at the end of this month that I decided to go natural :) The only styling I’ve been doing is getting it washed and blowed out. For all of you that are natural, what advice can you give to me…styling, products, etc. cause since this recession hit, I can’t afford to get it done professionally…gots to do it myself
Last weekend I decided to use Kera Kare products, and it seem to do well.
I already got some great advice but could use some additional tips.

I feel like I’m being mean today, but Neffe looks like her coochie stanks! Like she’ll have a room smelling like fish tacos. Her little boy’s daddy had to have been or still is a crackhead, because only a crackhead can beat the cheeks of woman who’s cooch smells like the Chicken of the Sea.

My theory is if 75% of the time your public “wig” ain’t right then the private one isn’t either. Now dont get me wrong…we all have our bad hair days and such.
But if you cant keep the one that everyone sees in proper order…

I’ve only used the aphogee anti-breakage treatment, i have relaxed hair, but my mom used it too after chopping all her hair off and going natural and it worked well for her. I like it. I have actually been stretching relaxers and its been 9 wks since my last one so I have a ton of new growth and I have extremely thick, wavy hair. I use Neutrogena Triple Moisture Leave-In Cream, and after I blow-dry, my hair is soooo soft, especially my new growth. You can still see the waves, but it’s much softer and much more manageable. Hope this helps

I agree with the top hair/bottom hair theory – it’s just like your mouth, if you can’t smell that your mouth/breath stinks when your mouth is only 1 inch away from your nose AIN’T NO WAY you gonna know your puss stinks! If you ain’t brushing your teeth & tongue proper AIN’T NO WAY you scrubbing up within them folds in your puss proper! There is a direct correlation to your mouth & puss if you ask me.

I think it would be better for natural than relaxed, just based on my experience using it. My natural hair (new growth) has responded to it better than my relaxed hair. Also I would recommend deep conditioning at least twice a week. It helps keep the hair moisturized, soft and manageable.

KERACARE is real good, keep using that mos def! Does anybody use aphogee? is it good for natural hair or only relaxed?
I’ve only used the aphogee anti-breakage treatment, i have relaxed hair, but my mom used it too after chopping all her hair off and going natural and it worked well for her. I like it. I have actually been stretching relaxers and its been 9 wks since my last one so I have a ton of new growth and I have extremely thick, wavy hair. I use Neutrogena Triple Moisture Leave-In Cream, and after I blow-dry, my hair is soooo soft, especially my new growth. You can still see the waves, but it’s much softer and much more manageable. Hope this helps
Thanks ILBP, that did help. I heard about Neutrogena Triple Moisture, is it only good for relaxed hair? I think Gabby Union was spokesperson for that…
yeah I deep condition twice a week and my hair has improved a lot. Super soft and managable, EVEN the new growth.

I’m also natural, and I know maintaining natural hair, especially if you’re doing it yourself, takes patience. I go to the hair salon every two weeks, but when I don’t go I use Motion products to wash and condition my hair.
Now, I’ve decided to try an organic product. I tried for the first time a product called Organic Root Stimulator…I used their Uplifting Shampoo and conditioner…It seemed to work ok, but I only used the products once so I can’t give you a fair assessment on them yet.
When my wrap gets a little old, I grease my scalp with hair grease…I forgot the name of the product. Anyway, I don’t use gel when I comb my hair back into a ponytail, I use African Pride’s Miracle Creme. I love this stuff…it doesn’t flake or makes your hair hard…good stuff.
Last, I get my hair braided at least twice a year. I leave the braids in my hair for about two months and let my hair rest for about a month or more.

No comments for this post…However I need some advice.
My theory is if 75% of the time your public “wig” ain’t right then the private one isn’t either. Now dont get me wrong…we all have our bad hair days and such.
But if you cant keep the one that everyone sees in proper order…
*sigh*

Co-sign…some people don’t know or just don’t care about their personal hygiene or appearance. And like you said, we have our off-days, but damn…some have their off-days 365 days of the year. Someone they know must have a heart to break the news to them if they can’t figure it out on their own.

Star Jones needs to sit her ass down somewhere. I’m sorry this chick is so fake. Just stop the madness, Gai Reynolds didn’t want your ass and the chef damn show don’t want her. Why don’t she date in her league, like maybe 50+. She is just asking for heartbreak. Nobody wants that old saggy skin gastric bypass p*ssy. I don’t mean to sound mean but it’s the truth.

No comments for this post…However I need some advice.
I’ve been natural for 2 years now (lovin it!) and I use the kinky curly gel. I can’t remember the actual name of the gel but the brand is kinky curly. I also use kinky curly’s knot today leave in conditioner. It helps with tangles. The gel helps define your natural curl pattern and keeps the frizz down. It’s not for straight styles though.
