News You Can Use: Tragedy At Lil Boosie’s House+Beyonce Is “Proud To Be An American”+J.Lo & Marc Announcing Divorce?
Beyonce is on full on “Pick Me” mode for Inauguration. While Aretha and Rihanna have been tapped to sing at the swearing in ceremony and a ball, respectively, Beyonce hasn’t officially signed on to perform at any Inauguration festivities just yet. But she did remake the American Classic “Proud To Be An American”. Check it:

Rumors are still running rampant abut an impending Marc and J.Lo split. Now the latest rumor is that the couple of 4+ years will announce their divorce after they perform a surprise “farewell” duet at one of Marc’s upcoming concerts. This ish is nuts and very far fetched. Even for these publicity sluts. But I’m just the messenger.
UPDATE: J.Lo’s rep has put out an official statement saying reports of the couple splitting are untrue. Take it or leave it.
In unfortunate news, a 2 year old girl died at Lil Boosie’s home 2 days before Christmas. Her father was backing his car out of the driveway and did not see her, and she was fatally hurt. The little girl is not Boosie’s, but is actually a child from the neighborhood who had come over to play on the trampoline Sad situation.
Tracy Morgan was his usual crazy self on “Letterman” Friday night talking about how he knocked up his ex-girlfriend–Oprah Winfrey. Check it.

People don’t want to see Jen with a man…hence the rumors. We only see pieces of their life…and it seems like Marc is running that to me…
I would always be careful when kids are around because the same thing happened down here some months ago.

I’m sorry but that “Proud To Be An American” song did not need a remake. Some things should be left alone.
If the rumors are true then I’m not surprised that J.Lo and the Blood Sucker’s marriage did not work out, but J.Lo will not be single for long. I’m sure she’ll find husband #4 some time next year.

Think about it Beyonce wants to be iconic, how much deeper can you be etched in history than performing at such a historical event? So I can understand her push to get booked. My only problem is, she just might have already achieved her goal. I mean she won’t be quickly forgotten I don’t think, so this public quest to be an icon is embarrassing to watch and a little unnecessary

I don’t know. I didn’t think she did great…but I have friends who are beyonce stans and they think she did superb. All I know is that the movie cost 12 million to make and they only brought in 7-8million at the box office since it was released.

I kinda feel like they just put her in the movie to create buzz. Like they did Aaliyah in Queen of the Damned. The chracter wasn’t developed at all. I was dissapointed with that. Not shoving her under the bus as an actor or anything, but she was in the movie for less than 30 minutes. What is up with that?

I took my mother to see it, and we enjoyed the movie. We both agreed that Bey did a good job at acting and singing as Etta.
