When Rihanna first came on the scene she came directly from The caribbean. Beaches everyweekend and sun every bloody day. She was in that element for 16 plus years. Now she is in a colder climate, Yes ahe will not be the same complexion we first saw her. Thats y theres a misconception back on the islands ” when we go overseas we get lighter” Yes cuz we hardly get sun. Myself included. The first time I travelled to North America. I got 2 shades lighter, when I went back home ppl were suprised.

Don’t blame that on us country folks. Blame it on the white masters who treated light skinned women better than dark just because they were less “black” and could therefore “pass”. First off, all of “us” aren’t the same. Some people (like my folks–who are 50, but are mistaken for my brother and sister sometimes) have better genes than others. Look at Oprah. She looks okay for 50, but she isn’t aging as well as the majority of us African Americans do.
And I said he looks FINE, not good. Good would be looking like he’s still in his twenties. I may be a stan, but I can admit he doesn’t look as young as he used to. But my point was he doesn’t look as old as people make him out to look. Now, Bey is a different story. I like her, but she don’t look like no damn 27 year old most times.

OK, I sat in my recliner and started falling alseep by 9:30. Finally I forced myself awake only to find out that my nephew had turned the tv to Disney so we watched Suite Life on Deck, Wizards of Waverly Place, and Hannah Montana till about 11:58. Then I turned the tv to see the ball drop and then I went to bed. But as soon as I get good and cozy in bed my cell started going off like a mad banchee with text msgs well after midnight. I was pissed.

I tried to go shopping yesterday but for first time in my pregnancy I actually had morning sickness…everytime I tried to get up I felt sick….so I just stayed sleep until like 4…and then we had dinner at my guy’s parents house…
