Jim Jones avoiding the question about the alleged assault
So after the all the hoopla of the Jim Jones and Ne-Yo “associate” scuffle, Jimmy turned himself in to the Manhattan precinct yesterday to dish his side of the story to the cops. He says he was shopping in the Louis Vuitton store in Manhattan, minding his own business, and he doesn’t really even know what happened. But folks are running off at the mouth saying Jimmy and the unnamed Ne-Yo/Jay-Z “associate” (whatever that means) got into catfight inside the store. Over what? Somebody grabbed the last Louis rag, or somebody grabbed the last pair of shoes on sale, or you know–anything that could cause a catfight in a boutique I’m sure.
All of this went down Christmas Eve and Ne-Yo skipped out on his NYE show with Jim Jones and other a few nights later. What’s really hood?
Those memoirs of Faith Evans and this Notorious movie are really pissing Lil Kim off. Sources are saying that Kim feels like she’s being mis-portrayed as simply Biggie’s concubine and jumpoff. *blank stare* So now she’s set to clap back at Faith and others with her own version of what went down during those Notorious years. I have a feeling when she starts to recap what really went down, the truth will def hurt. Kim girl, stop fooling yourself.
Remember when Beyonce was talking ish about the Jackson family saying Papa Joe used the kiddies to get out of their hell stricken “situation” and that’s not what happened to her because the Knowles were “upper class”? Well Janet’s supposedly not too happy about it. Here’s what she’s been saying:
“She feels Beyonce went out of her way to tell the world she’s from the upper class and the Jacksons were like a bunch of dirty gutter rats.”
“Janet is proud of her family and how they came from nothing and became superstars.”
“Not only is Janet telling everyone who will listen that Beyonce has a lot of growing up to do and that she needs to stop trying to impress everyone, she’s planning to confront Beyonce herself and read her the riot act.”
But then again, National Enquirer is the source. So um, yeah. I have a feeling there’s some truth to this ish though….

For all those people who are defending Faith Evans in the situation with Biggie, I read her book and she was not exactly a saint. she admitted that she messed with a married dude before she got married so maybe her situation with Kim was a case of karma. anyway, Biggie did not have any respect for his martial vows so for all those who say that Faith was his wife, does it matter if your own husband does not respect your marriage? People really need to take a good look at the people they decide to build a life with and look at their prior relationships. because the way he or she treated the last person is a good indication of how you will be dealt with. marriage is way more than a piece of paper and the sooner people realize that, then the sooner they will see that they need to really examine the reasons why they want to marry that particular person. ok i have stepped dowm from my soap box!

oh and the story about tupac i wasnt convinced at all how faith say how it all went down between them it just sounded like a bunch of BS to me..

What I didnt like about her book is that she used her title as wife to sound like the things Big did to her wasnt as bad as Kim. Chick he was cheating on you from the minute you two got married down to the day that he died. And she was jumping on planes going to chicks homes and jumping them for sleeping with Big and considered that to mean she’s a Ride-or-Die chick?? She said she felt sorry for Kim because Big treated her bad….he did the same damn things to you too……smh

In my eyes although she was married to BIG he treated every last one of them as a jumpoff….cuz he hardly even stayed at home with her when they did get married….he was always up under some other female. Then all the while she done had at least 3-4 she was sleeping with during the marriage as well. That aint no damn marriage!!!!!!

Right! so my questions are, how can she be mad at Big for sleeping with Kim when she was sleeping around too? Didn’t Big know Kim first? Was Faith really the jump off since he was messing with Kim first? Does it matter that he “wifed” her but was still messing with Kim? Was it really a marriage just on paper? I know it wasn’t a holy communion with all the foolishness going on.

Beyonce does not understand that Janet paved the way for her. IF it wasnt for Janet’s Rhythm Nation routine Beyonce would not have had the same dance step for Ring the Alarm and many others. Also, Beyonce’s dad used her to get out of a bad situation too! What father books their 15 year old daughter for sexy gigs wearing stilettos and short dresses gyrating on stage? Joe Jackson never pimped his daughters when Janet got old enough she fired him from being her Manager and then she released Control. Come on now. Yes, Beyonce is a better singer but no one can touch Janet on a stage. And by no one I do include Beyonce and her stomping around the stage and dancing gap legged all the time. Janet is an icon. Beyonce is trying to become an icon but has yet to accomplish with Janet has. Young Knowles needs to apologize for talking sideways. Beyonce has been in the game long enough to know not to mention names, it would have been one thing if she just made her statement but to add a name to it automatically is a put down. Any of you would be mad if someone was talking about your father or family, Beyonce and co would be mad. Matthew did use Beyonce to get out of a bad situation, Matthew was a coke head addicted to prostitutes while Tina was a mimi drunk……Matthew and Tina almost divorced because he quit his job and starting spending all his time and money on Beyonce, and Tina and the girls moved into an apartment while Tina had 2 jobs. They were not poor but they were not rich like how they are now. Tina lived her dream through Beyonce by designing and starting her own line, and Matthew lived his dream through Beyonce by starting his own record label and managing one of the biggest female acts. Joe Jackson never booked his daughters for gigs where they were to perform sexually while wearing short dresses. Joe never started his own company he was all about the boys careers. We dont know what Matthew did to Beyonce, what kid do you know want to participate in something for more than 1 week? Tina and Matthew are stage parents just like Dina Lohan and Lynn Spears…..how do you think these kids make it? There parents push them and then when they are older that is all they know how to sing and dance. I bet when Beyonce didnt want o perform to rehearse her daddy would get mad and make her. Beyonce said herself that she doesnt know how to cook or wash dishes because she didnt have to, her daddy always had her in the studio or in her room writing songs. I mean lets be honest, JOE JACKSON has even commented on how he wish he would’ve done things differently sometimes, and that there could’ve been other methods of getting out of their situation. ..Second, that doesn’t even sound like anything Janet would’ve said. Third, I’m not even a Beyonce stan fan or whatever, and I didn’t think her comment was offensive.
I think this is yet another ploy to bring some drama to the music industry. I still haven’t heard Beyonce’s initial comment on any major media gossip mediums (People, e!news, etc)..

You would have to take anything the Enquirer says with a grain of salt, but on the off chance with Beyonce comment was true, she stuck her foot in her mouth. It happens. She can certainly defend a comparison to Janet without bringing up Joe Jackson or the Jackson’s previous living situation prior to the Jackson 5 blowing up. I’m the type of person who can defend my POV without having to reference and certainly not denigrate another’s situation or POV. More celebrities should learn this trait.

I read Faith’s book and I liked it truth be told Lil Kim was the jump off so was Charlie Baltimore and whoever else he was fuckin wit while he was married to Faith. You would think that with all the media training the Beyonce and the other members of Destiny’s Child have had that Ms. Bey would know better, which is why I am taking all of this with a grain of salt, I actually have the January 09 issue of Elle magazine with this particular article in it and it doesn’t sound like Beyonce was purposely disrespecting the Jackson family, the interviewer was making a comparison of Beyonce’s upbringing vs Jay-Z’s up bringing, for him hip hop was a way of life for her just a musical style, after which the now infamous comment about the Jackson’s followed; Back to what I was saying before in regards to her “media training” she should have known better, from reading the interview it was Beyonce who brought up the Jacksons, the interviewer didn’t ask her about the Jacksons. Just like someone else commented on here said “you don’t name names” especially someone in Beyonce’s position and in an interview, she always says how sheltered she grew up and has anyone else ever notice how she does not speak about politics, social issues, etc, this all goes back to her “media training” which is way I don’t get why she would even mention the Jackson and then turn around and insinuate that Joe and Catherine use the kids to get out of a bad situation? If I were Janet Jackson I would be a little pissed to, but I wouldn’t believe shit the Inquire printed, and if anyone believes that Janet Jackson would even say anything to the Inquire then your even dumber than Beyonce is for making that comment, maybe Beyonce didn’t say it maybe it was Sasha Fierce that did it, either way Ms. Bey needs to choose her words more carefully are better yet just leave other celebrity families names out of your interviews , even if her intent wasn’t negative words do get easily misconstrued.

Beyonce showed her true self with the whole DreamGirls thing….that comment alone says so much! She is so used to people telling her she was the best, she had no idea how to deal with JHud receiving so much praise for Dreamgirls. Its really sad when you think about it, she stopped going to Premieres because people was giving Jhud standing ovations in a movie theatre! LOL! I like Beyonce, but between DreamGirls, the Jacksons comment and the remake of “Proud to be an American” (major side eye for that one)….I see her not as driven, but as a pouty kid who can’t handle not being the center of attention.
