Daily Obama Juice: Inaugural Flavoring
It looks like Beyonce got her wish. She’ll be performing alongside Mary J, Queen Latifah, Jamie Foxx, and several other rock stars at an MLK/Obama event at the Lincoln Memorial on Monday the 19th. The Presidential Inaugural Committee (PIC) is hosting THE OBAMA INAUGURAL CELEBRATION AT THE LINCOLN MEMORIAL. It’s the Opening Celebration for the 56th Presidential Inaugural, to be presented exclusively by HBO on Sunday, January 18 (7:00-9:00 p.m. ET/PT). The event will be free and open to the public, kicking off the most open and accessible Inauguration in history. Nice.
Beyonce, Mary J. Blige, Mariah Carey, Faith Hill, Jay-Z, Alicia Keys, Shakira and Stevie Wonder are set to perform at the Neighborhood Inaugural Ball Airing Exclusively on ABC, Tuesday January 21

Ya’ll need to go!!! I fly in from Dallas…and with airfare…hotel…tickets…and food…I end up spending around $500-600 and thats friday night thru sunday mornin…it’s really not that bad

Rihanna is performing on the big day! She’s headling one of the 10 or 11 offical Inauguration balls. Mariah is also performing on Tuesday. Yep you are right she is singing but that’s not what she wanted. The petition if I’m not mistaken was for her to not sing at inauguration which she is not. I personally didn’t feel the need to sign a petition because a petition wasn’t going to change what the committee was going to do but if you look at the facts the petition did win because she is not performing at inauguration she is doing a pre-inaugration kick off with 15 or more other artist.

I am a fan of MJB, so i am excited about this. I don’t see the point of arguing, Beyonce is performing at an event that is part of the Inauguration weekend festivities, just like Rihanna is performing at the Coalition for Change event, and just like most music artists will be performing at some event or another all weekend. I am more excited to see who will perform at the actual Inaguration, I’m thinking A. keyes she was a little bit to coy on the Tyra show when asked.
