The lady that spilled the McDonalds coffee in her own cuchi made out like a bandit, and she knew she was buying hot coffee. This poor woman may have exercised poor judgment, but she had a right to a refund and would not have been made into a public spectacle and subject to public humiliation through the release of the 911 tapes for a refund that she was duly owed. I did something similar myself including contacting the health department for a hot dog that didn’t look right and they wouldn’t give me my money back. Only difference is, i had the good sense to use the local number for the po-po’s, but I had to file a police report for my intent to take them to court–yea, over a 2.50 hot dog. But it’s the principal….just like in this case. In my case, after a month of the nasty hot dog in my freezer, I finally L.I.G it when I calm down. Come to find out that those old people I was dealing with, was just weird and treated everyone poorly. I think McDonalds needs to deal with that employee as well. Check out my photos link.
