her head is perfectly shaped like an egg! I don’t like the ponytail pulled so tight like that, but she still looks good…make up and skin are soooo pretty. The bag looks atrocious and the HOD outfit and shoes she’s wearing would just look plain hooch in real life if someone tried to wear that on the street. Does anyone wear HOD? Everyone pretty much agrees that Dereon clothing is glorified hood rat gear, but it sells like hotcakes to the segment of the population its made for, so hey. I ain’t mad at her OR her mama for putting it out there. I ain’t got to buy it. Its no more atrocious as Pastry footwear and Baby Phat, IMO.
However, I wish that this post could have left the Dereon line ads OUT so as to focus on the positive VOGUE cover and not give the people who love to find fault with Ms. Knowles something nice and chewy to hate on. Oh well. *shrug*

I love Beyonce that purse is so damn ugly and so are those pink shoes. I hate H.O.D. clothing. My daughter and I ended up in that section at Macy’s and had to flee like slaves. It was depressing and hideous! The jumpsuit looks better on the shoulders and the bottom resembles bloomers. I am not a fan of floral print. She still looks pretty in ugly clothes, but the ponytail is not a good look.

If I was a celebrity/singer/entertainer I would want people to be in my corner like Beyonce has in Matthew and staff. He have her everywhere. Like it or not the man get’s his daughter out there. Sometimes it is too much but that’s the business! I’m sorry but Baby Phat is so played and over priced for low quality clothing. That’s a lie, I watch her show Life in the Fab Lane sometimes and she always has on something by Baby Phat…..and her new line is doing just fine. Kimora, Sean Combs, and Beyonce are some of the top designers in the game despite how some of you feel. You all are just a small few that dislike it but evidentally there’s more people that do since all 3 of them have been so successful and the Simmons sisters are well on their way.

The fact that Beyonce shows up on covers of these fashion mags with the “real women have curves” taglines (it’s not the first I’ve seen), speaks to just how unrealistic Hollywood’s body image is. I mean, actresses & singers are pretty much expected to be a 0 or 2, so a woman who’s a 6 or 8, next to all those teeny-tiny girls, of course she’ll look downright “bootylicious” (Sorry I couldn’t help myself). Whereas in the “real world,” the size 6 woman is slim, in Hollywood, a size 6 is seen as “full-figured,” WTF?
Because one of the taglines of the Vogue cover is “style from size 0 to size 20″ it would’ve been cool if they had featured celebrities of that range of sizes on the cover.

The pic is beautiful, but I can’t help but to laugh. Why is the main focus on the cover about weight. It is almost as if she is being used as a pawn for women with curves. Also if women are to be proud of their curves why did they photoshop her to make her skinny? Beyonce is always talking about she loves her curves but on every cover she is photoshopped, even for her own line where she has control she makes herself look extra skinny. That confuses me. I think Vogue is wrong though, her first cover and they make it about weight. Every other celebrity on their covers talks about their successes.

Is what photoshopped….the scene in the photos? If that's what you're talking about then no. The photo shoot was taken in the beautiful island of Bermuda…In Crystal Caves.
