Word has it Mr. and Mrs. Jones are headed for divorce. For reals this time. Sources report that Kelis is completely fed up with Nas‘ cheating and abusive ways. And the fact that she’s seven months preggers isn’t helping. Reportedly Kelis is filing for divorce any day now.
We’ve heard it all before. And while it wouldn’t be surprising necessarily, I hope everything works out for the best for them. Until then, these two are riding down Splitsville Lane with the top down and windows un-tinted.

And VaShtie’s b-day party last night–hosted by Sprite Green in NY at Santos Party House–was no different. The two were very coupled up all night and giggled and ignored questions of whether or not they’ve traded in their friendship for courtship. Our sources at the party say there’s no question–they’re definitely an item. And it showed all in the way they were attached and undercover romantic all night. Q-Tip did admit he’s her #1 fan. Awww.
VaShtie is a Video Director/Artist/Fashion Designer who directed Lupe Fiasco and Kanye’s “Us Placers” video. And it looks like she’s added “Q-Tip’s girl” to the list of her her titles…

YBF snitches tell us DMX will be officially released tomorrow from the Scottsdale Prison he’s been in for months. After word broke the other day that X will be starring in the upcoming season of Dr. Drew’s”Celebrity Rehab”, we also hear X is already set to check into a Phoenix hotel tomorrow. We also hear X has a 7 month old kid as well who is already there with the mother waiting for X. No word on if Tashera is there or not. PLEASE let her be on the show. The antics will never end…
Ashanti is set to star as Dorothy in “The Wiz.” Ms. Douglas will make her stage debut this summer as Dorothy in a revival of “The Wiz,” the soul-tinged version of the classic L. Frank Baum story. The musical will be ive June 12 through July 5 at New York City Center as part of its “Encores! Summer Stars” series. Opening night is June 18. Congrats to Ashanti for landing a J-O-B.
Boys & Girls Club alumnus Usher and his mom Jonetta today unveiled a new billboard featuring his childhood photo as part of Boys & Girls Clubs of America’s” BE GREAT” campaign:
Usher’s theme – BE ICONIC – ties to his profile as an award-winning, multi-platinum musical icon and a positive role model. He attended the Boys & Girls Club of Chattanooga as a young boy.
