“ATL Housewife” Sheree Whitfield’s “She By Sheree” Fashion Line Launch went down last night at Atlanta’s W Hotel. And all her Atlanta friends came out to get the first glimpse of the fashions in real life–not just sketches this time:
She arrived with her possible new man.
UPDATE: This dude she brought along is a new rapper just signed to Def Jam by the name of Vawn. He’s also an ex-choreographer. *side eye* I just want to know who paid who.

I give her credit for finally coming out with something. But there is no way she designed this collection herself. The “blue” dress, I have the same one in grey that I bought a couple of season’s ago. But I give her an “E” for effort. We will see them soon in TJ MAXX or Marshall’s.

The whole line is a hot mess. The faux “silk” dress she has on and the white one are poorly made…the hem is uneven and you can see the catches in the side hem…just awful. I also seen the same dress in black and pink online at dillards in the Juniors section. Nothing original at all. She need some professional help with her designs and sewing.

Not alot of her fashion in “innovative”. It’s been done by MANY of the major houses 2 seasons ago, that being said she still has a market for this because it’s saturated with these looks so women are buying them. The items look far better than what we saw on the first season of the show, so all in all she one up’d herself so that’s always good.

Clothes are horrible… no originality or innovation. I doubt any serious fashionist would take a second look at her line…I’d have to see the material/quality for the actual items for sale. First off, Lisa does not have a weave. However, I would like to take the time out to say that Lisa’s Closet Freak collection was much more of an embarrassment than Sheree’s. Majority of the pieces that Lisa had in her show were already in a previous fashion show back in October. Evelyn Lambert, that is the designer for Lisa’s Closet Freak, had already used those pieces in her fashion show in 2008.
Sheree, at least had well made items and pieces that I would wear. Also, it was the first time the pieces were shown in a fashion show. Unlike Lisa, who just took someone else designs and put her “Closet Freak” name on it. How dreadful.
Stop hating on Sheree. She does the best with what she has, which at the end of the day is better than most.

Would not last a minute on Project Runway! There is nothing innovative or classic about this collection. She has great style on the show with exception of that shirt she wore at her housewarming party, but just because she has personal style does not translate her being a fashion designer.

I didn’t see anything that was all that great, especially if you heard Sheree’s ego driven hype. Some of it is fine, about 4 items were good looking and looked like you could actually get some wear out of them. The see-through blouses are stupid and should be a in “Ho’s-Are-Us” store. The more casual outfits could be put together from Forever 21 or even Plato’s Closet. Sheree needs to do better the next time, not just with her line but what she wears herself. That strapless blue dress, which I assume is her design, looks like a bridesmaid’s dress and it doesn’t fit right. I did like all the jewelry I saw.

I think the people that keep commenting on Lisa’s hair are confusing her with Sheree. Sheree (in the black dress) has the silky roots with the rat tail ponytail.
I think her fashion line is a better portrail of who she is than what she claims to be on the show. Her clothes look like they belong at Pay Half, not even Forever 21. She is one shopping spree away from being at the Department of Social Services. That clothing line will never afford her the lifestyle that she seeks. If she has any sense she will take some fashion classes because smart people know it is never too late to learn. I am sure she will still try to convince herself that everyone is hating, but we are the consumers and it is important for a business woman to listen to criticism, adjust, and rise to the occasion. If she was going into the business of promoting and developing up and coming designers that would be a more acceptable and “keeping it real”.
