Beyonce and Jay-Z hit up Solange’s concert in Switzerland right after Bey performed Saturday night. But the Swiss press are going bananas over the fact that The Carters barely spoke 2 words to each other all night. Reportedly, Beyonce sipped on her champagne while Jay chatted it up with friends. They didn’t even sit next to each other the whole night. Lover’s quarrel or just living their regular life comfortable with their relationship?
A couple doesn’t have to be swapping spit and fawning all over each other in order for them to be on good terms. But sometimes, when there’s smoke there’s fire. Hope not though.
And Swizz Beatz let his relationship status with Alicia Keys slip. He told the Daily News that he is indeed in love with her and yes, she’s the one who threw that party for him at the Guggenheim Museum a while back. Despite him trying to tell everyone it was a lie. Here’s what Swizzy had to say about his new “Best I Ever Had” remix track (which is rumored to be about his mistress chick Alicia):

People keep saying that God doesn’t like ugly and they will get what they deserve but the God that I know doesn’t work like that. Remember that no one sin is bigger than the next. A sin is a sin is a sin. People are on here judging left and right and I know this is a blog but if you are going to put God in your post just think about what you say before you do. Sometimes marriages are just mistakes. People marry for the wrong reasons everyday and sometimes we hold on to the very person or thing that God is trying so desperately to get us to let go of. Yes marriage is or shall I say should be sacred but if you are miserable in your marriage b/c it was a mistake and you married the wrong person, then move on and be more patient next time.
Divorces do take a long time and everyone on here saying that they would wait, go thru a divorce and then tell me how long you will wait. Dating someone does not mean that you are sleeping with them (9 times out of 10 it does) but it doesn’t have to mean that. I am not on a high horse by any means but just trying to add some logic to an interesting conversation.

But, if she does, I’ll see how many of you call her bitter, a woman scorned, someone who needs to get over it, and someone who is unreasonable for trying to hold on to her marriage.

I already stated my case re: Swizz. He should have cleaned up his affairs at home before he pursued Alicia. He should have had his house in order before any thing. This must be a perfect world or something like that. Before the divorce papers are even dry most couples have already moved on asap. I did my internship years back in civil court in NY, and most divorced couples have been estranged for months or even years. Most couples wait a long time to file divorce papers because they don’t want to pay for it or they just think some time away will heal the problems magically. Swizz does have a couple million dollars so the divorce can get complex and very drawn out. swizz is a well known womanizer, so Alicia is going to get a taste of her own medicine in a few years. Most seperated or pending divotce couples have moved on even before the final court date. Damn! some even bring their partners to the final signing of the divorce papers. Do I think it’s right, It’s not my call because each divorce is different and complex. Some couples hate the shit out of each other and can’t wait to sign the papers, and others still love each other but just can’t get it together. That’s life people.

I know everyone isn’t’ into being married and what not. But I don’t care what issues a husband & wife maybe going through or who did what to who, you don’t mess with a married man or woman sorry point blank period!!! I know a couple of people who did that foolishness and where did that get them nooo where!!! Until those Divorce papers are done and final not in the process or oh we’ve been on the rock for a while…NO none of that NO SIR there will not be any dates, gifts, secret vacations nothing!!! It boggles my mind how people are like “Oh what a cute couple hope it works out good for them” WHHAAATTTT???? “Oh yeah that’s so great how you left your wife and son what a great start & solid foundation to start a wonderful life together!” I understand people are human things happen but marriage is sacred and people treat it like such a fly by night situation. And I’m speaking in general because I hear people talk about this all the time and this couple will not unfortunately be the first nor the last. Let’s bring it back to basic people and have respect infidelity & Adultery is such a selfish & foolish act and causes nothing but pain not just for the spouse but the kids. Well, it’s obvious that he doesn’t want to be with her anymore, since he finally filed for divorce three months ago.
And yes, he is a slut, and I’m sure no one had any high hopes for him anyway, because this isn’t the first time he strayed. But, I know plenty of men who say that the reason why men cheat is (A) because the women they are with sometimes let them get away with it, and (B) because there are women who will get with them. So, basically, many women make it easy for them.
And that’s what’s sad. Why be either one of those women, especially the one he didn’t even choose first. Why would any person ever want to be someone’s OTHER woman? What’s wrong with being his only. I mean, she can never be his first, but is being his only too much to ask? And if the answer to this is yes, then, I see why there aren’t as many committed couples as there could be as well as why the divorce rate is so high.
Some people just don’t believe they can be better or deserve better.
