It’s sexier when your body looks healthy and fit with curves and not all muscular like you have been working out alot. There have been papparazzi pics of Ciara coming from a gym AND Ciara’s muscular body makes it looks like she spends alot of time in the gym.

When Beyonce is talking about that she does not want to look like she works out a lot in the gym, I think what she is trying to say is that she doesn not want to look like Madonna who works out several hours a day everyday and has the very muscular arms to prove it. A lot of people do not find a really muscular woman attractive. I think the goal for a lot of women like Beyonce is to look toned but without all the muscles.
Beyonce is fortuante that she does not have to go to the gym because she burns calories by singing and dancing.

Besides, I hate celebs who say “oh, I don’t go to the gym” or “I don’t spend that many hours in the gym, I just have good genetics” please! They are in the gym or doing some physical activity like the rest of us to stay in shape plus they have the added benefit of having a personal chef. We all know her body is killer no matter what shape she is in but she maintains it in the gym or working out. She seems like a sweetheart but my advice is she needs to take those two years off after her tour and try to get into a college. Beyonce is not smart, she is cute but there are soooooooooooooo many beautiful black women in this world mentioned above and Im sure replying on this blog. Her figure is common in the black community and there are plenty of black women with better figures who dont have to wear butt pads. Anybody can enhance there looks the way she did (Blonde lace front wigs + pile on make-up + booty pads + fake boobs = Beyonce.) If she (and her familiy) were gracious or humble people I could exscuse her lack of personality, class, and brains but this is not the case.
I dont even need to mention what went down with Destiny’s Child former members. I think that is reason enough for some people to be turned off by the entire Knowles family.

No…she did that diet once and then denounced it by saying that there are other healthier ways to lose weight. She only did it to lose 20 pounds very fast because she had to shoot Dreamgirls and they wanted her skinnier. But I have seent he interview where she said that she wouldnt recommened the diet because there are other ways to lose weight. And if you google the diet (The Master Cleanse or The Lemonade Diet) and read a few articles about the diet, you will run across a statement from Beyonce denouncing the diet in one of the articles.

For the record, Beyonce’s quote is taken from the June edition of Self magazine which is all about exercise, nutrition and health so it makes sense that she is talking about her thoughts on diet and exercise.
I do not see why people have such big problem about the fact that Beyonce does not talk about her personal life. She never used the fact that she got married for her personal financial gain unlike Mariah who had a secret wedding and turned around and sold the pictures the next day to People Magazine which is strange considering that Mariah does not need the money.
All Beyonce did was confirm what everyone knew that she did in fact get married because her marriage license was a matter of public record. Beyonce did not tell anyone she was engaged so why she should tell the world she got married.

Ok, I tend to have an up & down relationship with Beyonce, lol. Sometimes I just have to give her props when I think of how long she’s been successful in this game without ever having a sex tape out, nude pictures that were “hijacked”, and for the most part…the dirt people get on her are things they actually HAVE to make up because she keeps it together so well (i.e. the Howard Stern show & that fake singing). If you think about it, Bey’s time span has featured Britney rising and falling, then rising again (due to MTV’s vigilance), Ciara’s rise and her leveling out (sorry, no hate intended) as well as a HOST of other careers left in the dust. I mean, Christina Aguilera can sing, but can she release an album right now? Didn’t she try recently, came out in ill-fitting Black spandex at an awards show & had to go back to the drawing board?
Rihanna is probably a hotter mainstream star, but can she carry her own show even half as well? Even 5 years ago, Bey was able to do that.
However, with all that said I understand some of the hate Beyonce gets. Most of her vids & performanfces
are just way too vulgar for me. I mean, its not necessary…you can sing. Also, Paula patton, Gabby Union and the rest mentioned may also be beautiful women, but they’re not as exposed as Beyonce is..so she’s going to have more hate simply because she’s always out there and it’s human nature to get resentful when you ALWAYS see someone. Especially when that someone doesn’t have an obvious weakness you can point to, or is some underdog you can root for.
Another thing that has to contribute, and probably prevents me from being a full on stan is the hair issue. I resent the fact that so many Black women on tv have to have these insane weaves down their back that basically just looks like we’re trying to be white versions of ourselves. I’m not saying Black women can’t have naturally long hair, or we shouldn’t be allowed to change up our looks like everyone else…but it just gets to a point where I think it takes away from a person’s natural beauty. Yeah, you’re pretty, but do you need long blonde hair to be that way? I think this is a part of the reason Rihanna made such an inroad in the pop/White audience, as well as being less urban. Honestly, they gravitate to her in a way Bey has not seen since the height of DC’s popularity.
And after saying all that, I think she should stick with this weave, if she’s got to stick with one. Those dark Blonde ones she’s been wearing for the past couple years do nothing except blend into her skin tone, making her look boring and kinda fake.
I mean, even the platinum ones (i.e. the “soldier” video) look way better on her because they actually create some “pop” and highlight her skin tone instead of deadening it.
All of this is not to say Rih-Rih (and most others) don’t wear hair pieces as well. I know that her short do is likely just a hair piece perched on top of her head.
I want to end it by saying what i love most of her is that she doesn’t seem to be an effed up human being(which is why people like Howard stern & perez hilton don’t like her..she provides them no drama). That’s like half the battle of maintaining your sanity in this business-I genuinely believe that under that wig lies a nice, albeit country, girl.
