The 2009 MTV Movie Awards went down last night. And either I’m getting too old for this ish or they were cornier than EVER because overall it’s gets a “HATED IT” rating from me. The red carpet looked far more interesting–even though they didn’t even do a red carpet show. Damn this recession.
Lil Mama hit the carpet in this blue cocktail dress number–custom made by Betsy Johnson, yellow pumps, blonde and brown hair, and a pink clutch. She looked her usual pack of Skittles self, but it worked better than usual for her this time. That’s not saying much though.
YBF chick KeKe Palmer looked fab in her graphic sparkly dress and cute grey shoes.
Hated Taraji’s dress on tv, but it actually looks cute here. I just really wish somebody would go yank that damn wig off her head once and for all. You’re too fab for this T.
And Jody Tyrese and Soulja Boy kicked it on the red carpet as well.

Lil Mama- Is known for being extremely tacky,which is why it didnt surprise me when I saw that get up! If the color isnt in the outfit and you branch out to pick a random color, stick with that one color. I forgot the awards were even on & i was just flipping chanels and turned it on RIGHT at the part where some idiot dude was flying through the air and he had on a jock strap or thong or something and his whole ass was out…then all of a sudden, he comes down from the air and lands on top of eminem where his bare ass was all in eminems face. Keke looks very classy, love it. Wish more young entertainers would go in that direction instead of looking as if they just came from a prostitutes flea market. Lil Mama and her look works for her as well- not many can pull it off, and I admit some of her chooses for outfits burn my eyes. But the look above looks nice and she doesn’t look like a slut whose just been tea-bagged. TPH hair looks nice too, glad to see something different instead of everyone floating around looking the same. Oh and YBF I love the ‘natural’ look as well! I have known Taraji sense the day I was born. She has always been a fashion risk taker and I love her for it. She has a weird funky style that hopefully will shine through more even with the stylist.
