Kimora & Djimon have announced their brand new baby’s name. Via what else…Twitter:
Welcome Kenzo Lee Hounsou. Kimora’s + Djimon’s baby boy was born on Saturday May, 30th. He was 8 lbs and 20 inches.
We researched the name a bit and found out Kenzo has Japanese origins and is used for boys and means Wise and Three. Baby Kenzo Lee Hounsou is the third baby of the bunch and Kimora is 1/4 Japanese (and 1/4 Korean). I have a feeling Aoki and Ming Lee are going to have a field day being big sisters. Loves it. Congrats again to the couple!

I thought Kimora was 1/2 Japanese too.. Her mom looks full Asian.. unless her Mom is 1/2 Japanese and 1/2 Korean, which would make Kimora 1/4 Japanese, 1/4 Korean and 1/2 Black..

I love them as a couple. In the beginning I never really cared for Kimora but after watching her show she grew on me. But I think Dijmon changed her in a good way. She seems happy. It seemed like she ran over Uncle Russy. I bet the baby is a lil cutie. Congrats to both of them.

I believe Kimora is half Asian. There is some dispute as to if her mother is Korean or Japanese. Kimora’s mother was adopted by an American service man, and I believe at the time is was forbidden to adopt a Korean child, which is why their is the dispute. Not that it matters as America throughout the decades has had “issues” with one race or another.
I like the name Kenzo. It’s quite lovely.

Having someone to share some companionship with is great, Kimora deserves that much. But I’m not so sure about having babies with boyfriends while your impressionable daughters look on…ehhh not so much. I recognize that my views are fairly conservative and not necessarily popular for these times, but I still think something is off about that.
BTW, I’m well aware that plenty of wonderful children have been born to parents who aren’t married. However, I don’t think it’s ideal.

IDK if someone mentioned it already but just in case…Kimora IS half asian as some probably have stated, but she is only 1/4 Japanese. The other half of her asian ethinicty is Korean which makes her 1/4 Korean also and of course we already shes 1/2 black. So yeah her mom IS full asian but only 1/2 Japanese and the other 1/2 Korean. Hope that helps :)
