The legendary Michael Jackson had arguably the most amount of fans world wide than any other solo artist. And here’s how the rest of the world is mourning the loss of the King of Pop:

Malaysia

London

Detroit

Hong Kong

Times Square NYC

Seoul, Korea

Shanghai
The AP reports:
Even world leaders weighed in. Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez called it “lamentable news,” though he criticized the media for giving it so much attention. Former South Korean President Kim Dae-jung, who had met Jackson, said: “We lost a hero of the world.”

More celebrity reactions:

Diana Ross: “I can’t stop crying, this is too sudden and shocking. I am unable to imagine this. My heart is hurting. I am in prayer for his kids and the family.”
Lil Wayne: “I personally can’t believe it,” Lil Wayne told MTV News. “But it’s more unfortunate for the world of music. … My love goes out to his family. … A sad day in history, not [just] music.”
Chris Brown: “Michael Jackson is the reason why I do music and why I am an entertainer. I am devastated by this great loss, and I will continue to be humbled and inspired by his legacy. My prayers are with his family. Michael will be deeply missed, but never forgotten. He’s the greatest … the best ever. No one will ever be better.”
R.Kelly: “I am truly saddened that my Mentor, Brother and Friend will no longer be with us physically. At the same time, I feel so blessed to have been touched by his Music, his Dance, his Lyrics, and his Pure Genius. It is because of Michael’s yesterday that I am who I am today! My condolences to his family and friends around the world. Michael Jackson Rest in Peace and may your music and legacy forever reign on earth!
Britney Spears: “I was so excited to see his show in London. We were going to be on tour in Europe at the same time and I was going to fly in to see him. He has been an inspiration throughout my entire life and I’m devastated he’s gone!”

Ex-wife Lisa Marie Presley: Click here for her statement
Priscilla Presley: “I’m in shock, as I know everyone must be. What a tragic loss. My heartfelt thoughts are with his family at this very difficult time. I am so very sad and confused with every emotion possible… This is such a massive loss on so many levels, words fail me.”

Michael’s sister Janet has just arrived to L.A. as she was in Atlanta filming “Why Did I Get Married? 2″. She has always appeared to be the closest sibling to Michael. And on that note, here’s one of my all time favorite vids/songs I love to listen to when I’m feeling stressed and frustrated:

I feel so grateful that I was able to grow up listening to his music and watching him entertain millions of fans around the world! He touched so many with his songs and it really makes me sad to see that music may never be the same. I will miss the days when music had substance and really sent out a message. RIP Michael!!!

Tasha, you’re doing an awesome job today!
MJ’s presence is/was felt everywhere. I know Janet is probably dealing with this especially hard. You could tell they were very close.

Fri, June 26, 2009 4:04 PM
Still in shock………… :(
Fri, June 26, 2009 4:04 PM
Chris Brown’s statement is so powerful and so true. How many artists can say they were THE reason for someone’s musical being?? There are truly few entertainers who really inspire a whole generation
Fri, June 26, 2009 4:05 PM
i am truly DEVASTATED, my tears didn’t start until this morning because i was in so much shock yesterday. i remember 20 years ago, i was in front of my TV admiring this man and his work. he was where i found my love for music, at 3 years old! REST IN PARADISE MICHAEL JOSEPH JACKSON! i cannot take this and i’ve cried so many tears but still cannot believe it! only true music lovers will be mourning right now; there is no amount of words that can describe this man or what all of his family, friends and fans are going through right now. God rest his soul please and watch over his family and friends, and all of us fans will keep his title alive ‘THE KING OF POP’! Love you so much Michael! You will truly be missed, by far the most famous and loved individual in the WORLD!
Fri, June 26, 2009 4:06 PM
Juh juh be duh ta! I love this song! RIP Michael. No one has touched the world of music like you have. Many wish that in 80 or 90 years that they could have done 1/10th of what you did in 50. God bless you and your family.
Fri, June 26, 2009 4:06 PM
Michael Jackson showed that you don’t have to have booty shaking, degrading females, foul language, in your songs or videos to be successful. The greatest artist of all time, the best selling artist, and the biggest influence on music, and he never took it there. This is what celebs should get from his legacy. You can watch his videos with your kids and grandkids because they weren’t “too much” for them to see. Remember the music. Don’t let the media degrade his legacy and his love for the art. Remember the music.
Fri, June 26, 2009 4:08 PM

He’s Out Of Our Life

R.I.P. Michael Jackson. I love my people and this is a black website but R.I.P. farrah fawcett as well True Charlie angels. Its been so sad. Both of you are where i pray that i go once i leave this hell on earth. God needed another soldier. look at all this corruption, sadness and hate. he needs more fighters and beautiful spirited people like you both.
Fri, June 26, 2009 4:19 PM
I think Chris Brown needs to save all of this prayer energy for himself.
Fri, June 26, 2009 4:20 PM
I am still at such a loss of words. I know he has died but his music brought such life to the surface that its hard to believe that his body is no longer functioning. There is such a hole. I always rocked to his songs and loved his cinematic videos, but never considered him a favorite when naming my favorites. However, when I look at all that he has done, all whom he has influenced and just the genius of his entire catalog of music, how can you not call him The King of Pop Culture and one of your favorites. He did so much and all of it was good music. Not just a good song but excellent songs and videos and shows to boot. Hit after hit after hit. Man, he was Bad. Go head Michael, R.I.P. You are an American Treasure.
Fri, June 26, 2009 4:21 PM
I agree with Meek 100% percent. MJ proved you don’t have lower yourself with all the booty shaking, cursing, extra dirty lyrics or degrading women just to sell music. You can have good feeling music that inspire people around the world without it. It is so surreal and sad, but amaze and in awe by how the world stands still and come together at the same time over music. We miss you MJ.
Fri, June 26, 2009 4:23 PM
LMBAO……..u r a mess :)
Fri, June 26, 2009 4:24 PM
This is so sad the greatest entertainer in the world. Rest in Peace Michael Jackson I will always remember and love you. His legacy will always live on.
Fri, June 26, 2009 4:24 PM
Man, I am still in shock. Wow, looking at that baby pic makes me wanna cry b/c what a cute lil child he was. Michael is hopefully resting peacefully. He will be missed forever.
Fri, June 26, 2009 4:25 PM
My emotions are haywire. Just reading the statements brought on more goose bumps, they were perfect. I could have done without R Kelly saying he was his mentor but still i understand the great inpact MJ has had on all artist and people. I swear from this day forth im going to support every talented artist that actually works hard and are good by buying their albums, because maybe that might help keep music alive and who knows God does anything and might send us a beautiful legend of this Gen like Jackson– although i highly doubt it— and help keep music going. Jackson was a legend and the best their is and will be. man im so sad but thank you tasha for this post. C.B. i loved your statement and although the media trying to mess you up your music is great your young black and hopefully our people will help you get through this time. Give you help and let you continue with your promising future.. R.I.P. MJ
Fri, June 26, 2009 4:30 PM
I can’t even deal. I’m heartbroken. :-(
Fri, June 26, 2009 4:31 PM
so true. You know and celebs can’t use the excuse that “well that was back then”. Not true. Michael sold out his current concert in a matter of minutes, all 50 performances. So there is no excuse for the mess we see and hear in music today. None! Real music will sell itself. You know celebs also need to recognize how the news media are. They won’t let his legacy be positive. They will spend more time talking about your negatives then your art. This is why artist like Kanye west and those who spend time causing drama and contraversy need to ask themselves what they want their legacy to be. Don’t spend years building an art or legacy and be your own enemy and tear down your own foundation. But we shouldnt let them talk about Michael. They did that his entire life, let him be honored in his death. God bless you Michael. The true fans will never allow others to speak ill of you. My heart is so saddened. But Man, didn’t he leave us with some amazing art?!!
Fri, June 26, 2009 4:36 PM
This was a BAAAAAAAAAAAADDDDDDDDDDDDDD Man!!!! That performance was awesome. It will NEVER EVER be touched. That energy and just everything…made me have flashbacks of all the fans fainting in the audience. He is the GREATEST ever hands down. Yeah I see Chris Brown doing his tribute some justice! I can’t think of another sould walking this earth to come as close to MJ!!! HE always gave a MILLION percent in performances, videos, and every project he had. That’s why I love music videos back in the day. They actually cared about their fans. Nowadays all these singers videos look just alike. Same concept everytime. Same ole Same ole. He was amazing. I got chills from that performance. One thing I can say. NOBODY has ever commanded a crowd like that at an award show just by walking out on the stage other than his sister Janet!!! I LOVED MIKE!!!
Fri, June 26, 2009 4:37 PM
Hell yeah!! Sold out in 30 minutes. Who else can do that. NOONE!! Hell Beyonce, Britney, Ciara, and others still trying to sell tickets to a tour that been started.
Fri, June 26, 2009 4:38 PM
The look on Janet’s face is enough to make me start crying again. I can’t wait to get off work and go home. I just want to lie down. Rest in peace, Michael Jackson. Prayers going out to the entire Jackson family. The world has lost an amazing icon.
Fri, June 26, 2009 4:39 PM
YBF, you are doing a super fab job with this coverage, the videos (throw up some pics from The Wiz!!!) and the pics. i was wondering what the world was doing and thinking…thanks for filling me in on this.
i am still in shock. this is too surreal. i cannot say it, and even though it’s true i will not say it. it’s like my whole childhood evaporated.
in this lifetime or the next, we will never have another MJ. i don’t focus on the bad stuff (its well documented that hollyweird will turn anyone out) but when i read that he’s sold 750 million albums, 55 mil were from “Thriller” alone…wow, that’s King Status.
never again will the likes of this genius be seen again.
Fri, June 26, 2009 4:42 PM
@Bre
Please Madonna ain’t shit but a over hyped whore.
Janet has done more for pop music then Madonna ever has.
Janet will always be the Queen of Pop
R.I.P King of Pop….and long live the Queen.
Fri, June 26, 2009 4:42 PM
MJ you will forever be missed. NO one can or will ever do it better.
Fri, June 26, 2009 4:43 PM
June 25 is they day music died. His death is bigger than Elvis
Fri, June 26, 2009 4:43 PM
Trust me that another 750 million might be sold before this week is over.
Fri, June 26, 2009 4:46 PM
No one does it better, Micheal i am honoured to have lived in your generation. Words cannot express the joy your music bringsxxxxxxxxxx
Fri, June 26, 2009 4:49 PM
This is so sad.. I remember 25 years ago the crush i had on The jackson 5. Posters all over my wall of michael. I cried when i seen him and use to wait at the airport to rush him and get close to him. I was a stan for life. The Jacson 5 the Supremes, Stevie their music was CLASSIC. I dont even listen to music these days, I dont even have many CD’s I have records. This is just unbelievable and too sad. Still in shock.
I loed Chris Browns statement and to know he’s so young and still Michael Jackson influenced him so much when he wasnt even around when MJ started goes to show you how Great MJ is. The fact hat he acknowledged he’s the greatest and best ever was sweet. I could just imagine how Dianna Ross and all the other old heads feel. it feels like i lost a brother so i can imagine how they feel
Fri, June 26, 2009 4:49 PM
nearly 24 hrs later, and i’m still in somewhat kind of a shock. I keep writing the nearly same thing on every post, and other blogs…..cuz honestly, there’s just no words to describe the feeling, no words seems good enough to explain what mike meant to music. I’m just sad.
Fri, June 26, 2009 4:50 PM
My thoughts exactly hun
Fri, June 26, 2009 4:56 PM
This news is still so overwhelming for me. I grew up listening to his music and in awe of his music videos and I still do that today. It’s incredible to see how much of an impact he is to the entire world and not just myself. Michael and Janet were so adorable in the Scream video. My favorite parts are when they are playing the video game, of course the dance they did, and when they hug each at the very end. In the song they were declaring for the media to leave them alone. I know it’s wishful thinking but I hope the media really does leave them alone at this tragic time and give the family a chance to heal.
Fri, June 26, 2009 4:57 PM
HEY YBF! I love y’all, but quick correction…Janet Jackson was not overseas she was in Atlanta yesterday, filming “Why Did I Get Married” II. I live in Atlanta and they were suppose to be shooting yesterday, but it was cut short because of Michael’s passing, Tyler Perry was on the Radio here this morning discussing his support for Janet and the rest of the family. I wrote you this cause I do frequent your site and I don’t want you guys to put up any wrong info…even though it might be the smallest detail.
Fri, June 26, 2009 4:57 PM
Tasha, Janet wasn’t overseas she was in ATL on her way to start pre-production for Why Did I Get Married 2. RIP KING OF POP! YOU WILL BE MISSED BUT YOUR MUSIC WILL LIVE ON!

Fri, June 26, 2009 5:20 PM
I think my mind has refused to process because I get ready to cry and a song comes on and I can’t; I just start singing loudly in my car, don’t care who is watching. Prince just needs to go ahead and live for a good long time because I really can’t right now, a huge part of my childhood just died. DIED! Everybody on the music charts right now is about to get OWNED by 20 year old music, REAL MUSIC>>>> RIP Mike, this circus that became your life is over, such peace you must have now!
Fri, June 26, 2009 5:30 PM
R.I.P Michael Jackson, no matter how he choose to live his personal life, I believe that Michael Jackson is one of the last true icons. With all the drama that surrounded him, everyone can agree that they loved the man, for his truly remarkable talent. Their will never be another ONE…. My all time favor MJ song Man in the Mirror/ Jackson 5 song All I do is think of you.
Fri, June 26, 2009 5:39 PM
James Brown died on Dec 25th, Aaliyah on Aug 25th, Left Eye April 25th, and Michael Jackson June 25th. How ironic is that?????
Fri, June 26, 2009 5:45 PM
this is just so surreal….still crying.
R.I.P. MICHAEL JACKSON

Thank You Michael for making the world a better place with your music and bridging the gap between races, religions and nationalities, you are a genius! May you find peace, and rest assure, you won’t be lonely up there!!!!
Fri, June 26, 2009 5:50 PM
This is all a bit much for me.
Fri, June 26, 2009 5:52 PM
This comment shows just how ignorant some people can be. Regardless of Chris’ situation it’s never okay to tell someone who is wishing well and peace unto others to keep their prayers to themselves. Really uncalled for.
Fri, June 26, 2009 5:55 PM
It seems cliche when people say God put everyone on this earth to serve a purpose, and when you fulfill your destiny, he calls you home.
Michael Jackson, mission accomplished.
RIP
Fri, June 26, 2009 5:56 PM
My heart is hurting so badly, I am so shocked and loved Michael like he was a family member. My heart goes out to his family,There will never be another.
Fri, June 26, 2009 6:00 PM
I see this site got some intelligent people on here. I thought i was the only one who thought that comment was asinine. Why da **** does he need prayers for? His case is over, he on probation for mad years and got some therapy ish. His troubles are over. Tryna make a smarta** comment and end up sounding like a jacka**. No wonder you used that name “anonymous anne”. Cause noone knows who you are and dont care to know either. Chris B messed up but aint nobody can come close to MJ like CB can and he aint even close..he prob 1/10 but its better than JT doing it. How you gon spew all that hate on someone as great as MJ tho…thoroughly despicable “anonymous anne”
Fri, June 26, 2009 6:02 PM
Jackson family I know you are hurting right now but, you must be one of the proudest families in the world to even be related to Michael Jackson.
Fri, June 26, 2009 6:05 PM
It is a sad day to see so many cry over a pedophile wow what a generation we are in that making great music somehow overshadows and forgives him for molesting young boys we all knew Michael was gAy and a molestor yet no one will keep that in their mind. People say he was to nice to have done that. Lmao well last time I checked pedophiles came in all shapes, sizes, and colors. I just want people to think If it had been there kid that had been molested would they be worshipping the molestor like they are now.
Fri, June 26, 2009 6:18 PM
lisa marie’s comments brought me 2 tears i feel so bad 4 every1 who loved him
Fri, June 26, 2009 6:21 PM
In response to Why? Let me go ahead and get you right quick. Were you in his house? Nope. Was he found guilty? Nope? did you know him or his accusers personally? Nope!! So how can you speak ill of someone without knowing them personally or actually being physically present at the time of the assumed crime. Huh? You can’t. God forbid I say something about you right now. Get ten of my friends to agree that you did it. Would that make it true. We can even go to trial. Does that make it true? No! Thi sis my problem with ppl like you. No facts, no proof, but a lot of mouth. We are talking about his art. Don’t see no video, audio, or photos of the alleged incident but you are so sure he is guilty? Yeah, right. We are celebrating his work, and you can run your mouth all day long and all the negative ppl out there can talk that mess all day long. I am a person of proof. You gotta show me then I will ride that guilt train with you. It still wouldnt take away from his work. I can start a job and everyone can tell me that a particular person is mean and nasty, but I still have to have my own proof. I don’t follow the crowd as you do. I know the news is powerful and they can run a story that will make you look guilty all day long. But with all the reporting you havent seen one picture, video, or audio of molestation. Negative ppl like you always surface. If you didnt care about him, why are you up here commenting. No one asked you to share your two cents. You could just ignore all the hype and keep it moving. But you felt the need to say something. you didnt have to. It’s like if I have a party for someone and you dont like them, why show up. You could have just moved on to another topic or site. But no, you had to come up here and spread negative energy. Man, go somewhere with that mess but before you do, remember this. One day someone is going to say something about you. Its not going to be true. But you are going to have the darnest time proving your innocence. And then you will know what it feels like. Oh, it won’t matter all the good you have done, the life you tried to live, the people you tried to help, you will still be presumed guilty. See we all have been there. Whether on our job, families, school, or friends. And that lesson has been learned by some. You haven’t had your turn yet, but mark my words, it’s coming. And then what. Maybe they will believe you , maybe they wont but remember you reap what you sown. So now, what seeds are you sowing?
Fri, June 26, 2009 6:22 PM
Truely sad to hear MJ has left this earth, however he is one of the lucky few to be given enternal life through this ability to touch the hearts and minds of people all over the world.
I hope me is at piece

I’ve been crying now for about 24hours on and off. I can’t think of anyone in my lifetime that has had a greater impact on the world. I’ve had to go on few other sites and let some people know since they were talking sh** who he really was! R.I.P MJ I will love forever.
Fri, June 26, 2009 6:28 PM
Iam in shock I understand we all have to leave here, but damn it Mike.we love you Mike.
Fri, June 26, 2009 6:30 PM
:( It’s so sad when people attack a man just because they can see he is weak. That is what those families were doing when they filed a complaint against MJ. So many people took advantage of him, not the other way around.
Great comment.
Fri, June 26, 2009 6:34 PM
I AM IN SO MUCH PAIN. I felt like I lost a family member. I just can’t stop crying my eyes out … this is devastating and unbelieveable and to think during his life I ADMIRED HIM but never felt the need to go crazy like the rest of his true fans like myself who stuck by his side faithfully despite the controversies which I still do not believe. I LOVE YOU MICHAEL and you deserve the news media coverage you are receiving. Thank you Heavenly Father for gracing us with such a true GENIUS.
Fri, June 26, 2009 6:35 PM
OMG. You are sooooo right. I was just telling my husband that! I don’t think I ever heard a cuss word out of mouth.
Fri, June 26, 2009 6:36 PM
u are a stupid broad…he is stil human and feel just like everyone else
Fri, June 26, 2009 6:41 PM
First of all he was found NOT GUILTY of the aligations(sp) of child molestation. Whether he was gay or not is really irrelavent! The man was a talented, iconic, genius, whose body of work impacted MILLIONS of people! Nothing that you or anyone else who have chosen to condemn him, can say to take that LEGACY away from him. And even if he was guilty, God is a God of forgiveness, and all he would have had to do was ask God to forgive him & mean it from his heart. You nor I know what was in that man’s heart, so we are in no position to judge or condemn him! Based on the KNOWN FACTS, this man was the greatest entertainer there ever was! I think the overwelming sadness isn’t coming from people worshipping him, its because of the LEGACY and true TALENT associated with this man. HE is a cultural ICON that deserves the respect that millions of people are paying him at this time!!!! RIP Michael. May God bless his family with comfort & love at this time.
Fri, June 26, 2009 6:41 PM

really?
you where inside the ranch wen he did those things???????????????????????????
……NO you weren’t so go sit the hell down..please and thank you!
it’s so sad to see dumb people like you focus on negative shit (that was NEVER proven to be true), while a man that has inspired, touched, and helped so many people get’s respected and remembered for the things WE can prove he’s done and that is true.
SMH! the ignorance is draining..
Fri, June 26, 2009 6:52 PM
What type of shit you on!?
That is a damn kid you talking about. A kid that just like the rest of us has lost his hero.
A kid that just like the rest of us, has made mistakes and bad choices growing up.
A kid that has fully taken full accountability for his wrong actions.
A kid that if it was your lil brother, son or nephew, your mouth would be spitting different words about his actions and about forgiveness.
A kid that is trying to build a future for his family and himself.
A kid that did not whop your ass but you acting like he was fukcing you and later left you with bruises.
That kid does not owe anybody an apology but Rihanna, her family and his family and am sure he has done that as they both moved on and show no animosity towards each other.
Get off your high horse! I wish people and they damn mommas would let this ish just go.
Everybody is casting stones at this kid like they never fouled up in their lives…
Fri, June 26, 2009 6:55 PM

But Man, didn’t he leave us with some amazing art?!!
meek: Michael Jackson showed that you don’t have to have booty shaking, degrading females, foul , in your songs or videos to be successful. The greatest artist of all time, the best selling artist, and the biggest influence on music, and he never took it there. This is what celebs should get from his legacy. You can watch his videos with your kids and grandkids because they weren’t “too much” for them to see. Remember the music. Don’t let the media degrade his legacy and his love for the . Remember the music.
i agree 100% with these quotes. If u r a true artist ur music will speak for itself regardless of any situation.

I am still in shock, so very sad, and sad that the media cannot respect him or his family even in death, I love Michael Jackson and I truly believe his kindness was taken advantage of. RIP Michael Jackson, I and everyone I know is saddened by this tragic loss, I feel like I lost my bother, I can’t and won’t stop playing your music ever!! My heart goes out to his children and his family and all the fans that he touched, like my name says MJ all day!!!!! (moon walking my way out) Peace !!

All I can say is DAMN… I’m utterly speachless.. I’m truely in shock. This is an ultimate tragedy and a great loss to our generation. No one is, has been or will be greater than the pop iconic genius MJ.. The man had the “it” factor at birth and it never left him.
Prayers and condolences to his family.. I feel so sorry for Katherine and Janet.. seemed like they loved him the most and for just being him.
Fri, June 26, 2009 7:08 PM
just finished reading lisa marie’s blog post and all i can say is “wow” … truly blown away … to reiterate what’s already been said the world has lost a true talent and hopefully, he is now at peace…
Fri, June 26, 2009 7:14 PM
My Mom said something so true to me today. Mostly all of his videos was before his time, but if you look at them now, it’s what’s happening today! She said, His spirit was to strong for this world as if he didn’t belong here, so God took him away to stop the torture! He loved children and I never believed for one second he could ever hurt one! Please check for The Earth Song video!

quote:Today is a sad day for many and those who are sad knows what true artists and entertainment is
You need to practice what you preach and start today on your mission and stop being a hypocrtic. MJ was a mentor to millions of people across the world good & bad..

Michael Joseph Jackson
The King of Pop, The World Loved Him, The World Praised Him, The World made fun of Him, The World criticized him! The wonderful MJ tried so hard to continue to please the world, we say we love him, but in front of his face and behind his back we poke fun of him calling him names such as: Wacko Jacko, making up comedy skits about him, taking personal pictures of him and embarrassing him, calling him weird and bizarre, making fun of his nose, always in his face saying the world of critical statements!
Ever since Michael was a young boy this was his life, trying to please the public with his great talent and he did an amazing job!, but as the years added up, all of the pressure from child molester allegations, wacko jacko, ugly nose, freak, bizarre behavior, Michael started to hide from the world. His wonderful talent that we all love and enjoy hid, he just cut himself off, in his NeverLand home, desperately trying to have a childhood that he never got a chance to experience, he doesn’t know what the true meaning of love is. He has to ask a friend of his what love is and record the conversation of them speaking about it to hear it and try to learn what love means. Wow that must be a very sad soul, to have the world love him so much, but then to have the world poke fun of him, criticizing him, causing him to feel insecure and become fragile!
What else did Michael know? He knew only to please the public, give the world what they want, so he started transforming himself, his nose, his skin, without realizing the effects it would have. After trying to please the world, he only damaged himself further and had the world making fun of him calling him weirdo, freak, bizarre behavior, etc. The world destroyed Michael, WE ruined his life, WE broke his spirit, how dare we love someone, but then make so many negative comments about him????
When will it stop? When will the criticism stop??? You say ignore it, it’s just paparazzi, but when Michael didn’t know any better and grew up his whole life being criticized and lied to etc, he doesn’t know what to do, he is under constant pressure, constant bombardment of critics, he just hid himself away from the world, or he tried to at least. He tried to mold himself and please us, but only hurt himself in the end not knowing what to do. SO afraid to be himself and so afraid of his nose and appearance, and so saddened that people made fun of him calling him names and saying that he looks like a girl, he constantly and dramatically changed his appearance hoping for acceptance, but only to be called even more names!
He tried to protect his children from his fate, he made them all white, with light eyes and light hair to protect them from name calling, it makes me wonder if he was also criticized because of the color of his skin, he made the song black or white?, but it was too late the damage of all the years was already done, MJ will never be the same, he doesn’t know love because he was never given the chance to experience real love! How sad is that! The people that are saying they love him are saying all these mean things about him.. You cannot say that he should just get over it and ignore it because it comes with his job, because look at your sons, daughters, mothers etc, they are in high school getting boob jobs, butt implants, getting calf implants, cheek impants, botox in the face, etc….and plastic surgery is on the rise even though the risk, the people getting it are everyday people like you and me, not just celebrities!!! This shows you how bad society is in criticizing and hurting others.!!! The only reason they are getting all these procedures done is because their self esteem has taken a big shot!
There should be a law against criticism, something should be done!!!! People need to learn to accept people as they are and encourage them to do the best they can, not laugh at them, point fingers, criticize them and hurt them, all it causes is pain and suffering, words cut like a knife, and MJ was cut millions of times to the point of breaking, I am surprised after all the pain and suffering, all the surgeries and criticism, that he lasted this long!!!!!!!! I am so devastated, I am so upset, I wished I could have done something about this and maybe MJ would still be alive and be happy!!! If all this criticism wouldn’t have happened MJ would probably have learned to love himself and knew love and maybe he would’ve been healthier and happy and still be alive. Come on he was miserable and in pain, it is so sad that it took him having to DIE for us to realize how important he is, this misery is all caused by CRITICISM!!!!!!!!!!
I am so upset, I want there to be a class, a lecture, a requirement or something in all schools/jobs, or something to teach everyone to learn to love themselves, because the TV, the Internet, Society has become way to indulged in a certain image and a certain way to look and act, and if you do not have it, you don’t measure up, and if you laugh a certain way or do something different you are weird, but God created us all to be special, all different with unique talents and abilities that make us all special and stand out in the world and lighten it up!!!
Michael Jackson was a special creature with a great light to shine in this world, all the criticism broke him down and darkened his spirit and burned his light out!!!!!!!! All he needed was love and care to turn his light back on but the world did NOT help! They were selfish and published garbage for money!!! There should be a law against what is published nowadays, MJ’s light went dormant inside of him while he was in turmoil and pain, it is so sad he never knew love, the poor guy. Imagine if we as a society and all the paparazzi learned to be more accepting and learned to be more loving and learned not to criticize or there be a law not allowing garbage and lies to be published in the papers, magazines, TV, Internet, etc and headline banners telling you how you should be, maybe MJ would still be here shining his light on the world and giving us more of his wonderful music that we love and that has touched our hearts and soul. We all remember him when he was at his best, but we hurt him and he hid, imagine if he didn’t hide and was still out there giving us his best, the world would be a truly amazing place and we would be experiencing so much more of his superstardom, but his time was cut short!!! In his time he has done so much and influenced so many, imagine if he were still here? He had a concert coming up on July 13 2009, its so sad it has to be cancelled because I would love to go see him performing again!
A GREAT LOSS!
Now the world Mourns for him and The World realizes that he was Human, WHY SO LATE? WHY does he have to be DEAD for us to realize that he is human just like you and me??????? STOP the criticism, it not only hurts, it kills! Maybe The World, WE could’ve sent some encouragement and positive words his way!
I LOVE YOU MICHAEL JOSEPH JACKSON AND I ALWAYS WILL, REST IN PEACE AND MAY GOD KEEP YOU! Sending my regards to your kids and family, God Bless You All!

You know what’ we should be rejoicing for him, thats he’s now in a better place..
Because in the last few years he was torn to shed’s by the media, they’ve called him all sorts of names, as well as accusing him melesting little kids.. And we all know he didnt mean any to anybody..
He took on the world by him self, his body and spirit was tired, he need to rest,The weight of the world was to much.. So now he can rest in peace…
He was an inspiration to all of us,now only by his dance moves, but he inspired us all to strive to be the best nothing more nothing less..

I am so grateful to have lived in a generation blessed with his wonderful presence. I’ve never had to deal with death before, and for the first time I can say that I am actually grieving. I’ve never been one to obsess over a celebrity. But today, I feel like a part of me has gone with him. Yes, he was blessed enough to live 50 glorious years, however, I dearly feel like he has gone too soon. “Like the lost of sunlight on a cloudy afternoon, goon too soon.” I love you Michael. May the pain that you felt be gone, and you finally rest in peace. <3

When I heard the news I was in disbelief! It hit me this morning as they played “You are not alone” on the radio…I cried like a baby, that was the song we played at my grandmothers funeral. I have to say, I remember so many moments listening to his music and admiring his tremendous talents. All the drama that has been going on these last few months with all the celebrity drama is so small and somewhat childish in comparison to the tragedy of MJ’s death. Chris Brown did make a beautiful statement and let him have that…I know we have feelings, good and bad towards his recent drama, but its times like these that we have to put the sword down. I read comments on here all the time, but let him mourn with the rest of us. Its strange how hours turn to minutes and minutes turn to seconds…thats how June 25th was….the day was normal, woke up on the wrong side of the bed, said to my self “What else can go wrong today”. Got pissed off at my boss, counted the hours down til I could go home, counted the minutes down til my favorite TV show was to begin, but I swear the worst seconds were hearing CNN say “Michael Jackson has been confirmed dead”…..
One day before my long awaited 10yr anniversary I was planning to celebrate with my husband…We ended up with matching tattoos…japanese symbol meaning “Immortal”
R.I.P MJ…

My words can’t even at all express what I feel, I feel extremely super sadden right know everyone is. Michael Jackson was the best artist this world will ever experience. I was born in 1980 I grew up with the thriller album dancing and singing to his music. Man I can’t believe he is gone. His music will definetly live on. His music ALWAYS had a meaning and I loved everyone of his albums, the music now in the 2000 era makes no sense I feel sorry for the new generation with the kind of music it is today.R>I>P KING OF POP

i’m still crying. i am soooo sad. And for those that call him a pedifile you need to check the children that surround them fool. Children always show the truth they have such a discernment that is almost unreal. and he stayed around the children even after the trial because that shit wasn’t true and if he had stopped dealing with children I would have thought ok he did it. and so would the rest of the world all it is is that white ass people mad because this BLACK man was hella rich and had the power to bring cultures together. No one worried about race when it came to MICHAEL JACKSON. HE WILL ALWAYS BE THE KING OF POP no one will EVER be king above him. God blessed him with a curse and he carried on a lot of the worlds on his shoulders and was alone while doing it. I love mike always have and always will. I JUST DON’T WANT TO BELIEVE HE IS GONE.(crying again)
Sat, June 27, 2009 6:01 AM
I just watched that video of his MTV performance, dancing around with my baby.
God is good, and although “The King of Pop” is dead I can rejoice because I just read on another site that Mary Mary wrote, three weeks before dying he gave his soul over to the Lord. Reading that comforted me.
Peace Be With You Michael Jackson

I have read “Why” and “Hemma’s” statements and well then I read the anger about the above quote because it is hurtful to some yet this is very true. No one may have been in the house or with MJ during any time of his issues but he had issues with kids, with drugs, with alcohol, and we know this because he got caught. He didn’t go to jail because he’s MJ. We know this all of us. If any other normal Black male was put on trial as MJ was in his last recent trial they would have been found guilty. We forget there is a child who has been scarred for life due to what ever when on behind doors. A child. Yet we glorify this man who has done this. Its okay for him to have kids even though he has had not one but two run in’s with kiddy issues. He dangles one from a balcony as if its cute. Yet this is okay now that he has passed. Its like R Kelly. He is found not guilty because the lawyers suck..yet we all know this man has done what he has done. We buy his music and pretend things are fine. But don’t let the man next door do the same thing..then we stone him and kick him out the neighborhood. We cannot pick and choose who is a bad person if they have done the same crime. I respect MJ as a singer and an artist. He has done wonders for the music industry but I don’t respect him as a person. He made many choices that were wrong. He isn’t a person I want my kids to grow up to be. So Hemma..I did not do anything to MJ to have these things done to him. He made a choice. He choice not to be black anymore instead of saying he was going to be who he is regardless of what others said. I am not patting im on his back for giving in..the more he changed the more angry I got at him for acting as if black was bad. He chose to have kids that were white. Again..he is telling me a black person that black is bad and to get ahead we have to succumb to being white. He made horrible choices for someone in the limelight..again he could have not continued doing records..he could have choosen to go back to school and be normal..he made a choice..and his choice is what made him miserable. Not us. We as society react to what we see and hear. If it wasn’t happening in some way shape or form the things that are being said about him then it wouldn’t have been caught and put out there. Not as if it was a rumor. I have been where MJ is..my life was horrible..my parents were not parents..i raised me..yet my choice to not do drugs and alcohol, or become a criminal..raise a wonderful family and be successful was because I didn’t let it get to me. It takes a strong person to do this. Again I’m not downing anyone. MJ made history. But we also need to remember that when people pass we all need to not just glorify one and leave others out. Farrah passed the same day. This woman was front page then got put to a small section once MJ passed. I felt for her family. Like she was insignificant. It must have hurt. We do the same with our soldiers..they die everyday in this war..we forget this. Yet we do nothing when one passes. If a policemen or firemen pass..then we glorify this as if they are more important than our young 18 yr olds out in battle seeing horrors that are beyond us. All I’m saying is a life is a life. We make mistakes as we go through our journey and not one of us is more important than the next.
Sat, June 27, 2009 10:48 AM
How did he get caught? I really would like to know . I agree about looking at people totally but who are we. I totally agree with Hemma these are my sentiments exactly. Society did turn MJ into this person as we do with each other but on a a greater scale because of his gigantic life that you nor I could ever understand or compare ourselves too ! Yet we think we know ! We all know how powerful the media is and it can destroy a person or persons in matter of minutes!! Because we choose not to discern for ourselves !! Personally, I don’t know what is true and I choose not to condemn this man . If he is guilty his spirit/soul has to deal with that but if you listen to MJ songs they talk about being loved and condemned at the same time as we Humans do !!! No one is perfect and because we can’t accept our imperfection we can’t accept others which cause us to the miss the unique beauty and gift we each have to give this world. If we look at your life I am SURE there are somethings we would gasp at and be like OMG how could this person do or be this way but that is the difference MJ had the WORLD looking at his with a magnifying glass on a daily basis …who could really understand that…can you really wrap your brain around that? I think we(Humans) still don’t understand HUMAN NATURE and probably never will but because of the magnitude of MJ’s life and his true true spirit before Society -be his parents, family, community, schools,tv,religion, music, media, nation, and the world wrote on his slate he was innocent with the gift of love and at his demise which he played a part in as we all do the beauty/love wasn’t appreciated truly appreciated until he was gone as so it happens in our lives until mama is gone, daddy, sis, brother, grandma, grandad, aunt, uncle, cousin, friend, pet, what have you we are all GUILTY of this and MJ was our lesson
Sat, June 27, 2009 11:59 AM
I am going to miss him so!! He was the greatest singer and he was so misunderstood!! even upon his death some people still want to talk about the past, let it be!! Remember the good because he was found “not guilty” doesnt that mean anything to anyone and if they were accused of a crime and found innocent would they still want people to say these types of things about them?
Sat, June 27, 2009 12:04 PM
If it was your kid that was molested, would you except 20 million dollars or would you make sure that this person is under the jail?
Sat, June 27, 2009 12:09 PM
If you have nothing good to say about MJ stay off of these post. We dont care to hear your opinion. I myself am not famous but I have been lied on in situations and now on my job peoples opinions of me are awful. All the whispers when it wasnt even true and I had the proof, so I know what it feels like people are going to believe what they want to believe and people are going to talk. A pastor once told me, “If you dont have people hating on you than you are not doing something right”. I always remember that!

I have never felt this sad or devastated by any celebrity’s death, and i don’t think i will ever feel this sad for any. It just shows how i truly admire and love this guy. Forget about all the accusations, this was a guy who made everyone happy through his music, and charities. He was just too nice to everybody, wanted everyone to be happy, and that also got him in trouble.
I can’t help but love this guy, his music, the passion he puts in his music. His music is one that is done with so much authenticity, class, perfection, and rare talent, that i don’t think there will ever be another M.J., maybe people can copy or emulate him, but there will always be one Michael Jackson.
Even though, sometimes he was misunderstood, and looked odd to people, but people who were close to him probably knew him more than the world did. We all knew how troubled Michael was, even with him been on top of the world, he was never happy. He just had so many issues, based on his childhood, that looked like he couldn’t help himself or even people couldn’t help or his fame and money didn’t help either.
I don’t see him as weird or a bad person, i have sympathy for him, because he looks like it was a lot going on with him inside that only God and him knows it. I see him as a nice guy who just happens to have so many things going on with him. I just wish he knew Jesus Christ, and God can just have mercy on his soul.
His death was just shocking to me, and makes me know that life is not guaranteed or promised, so every chance God gives me, i should use it to focus on important things that will last long and eternity.
He’s one artist, when his music comes up, everybody, young, old, even babies, different ethnicities, starts grooving. So, his music will be remembered and him too, even when some of these young artists music stops playing and no one remembers them. That’s the difference between a true legend and doing whatever just to be recognized.

i apologize on behalf of mankind michael…you were too good
RIP u will me truly missed

Sun, June 28, 2009 5:09 AM
MJ inspired the world even in villages of third world countries peopl knew who mj was and tried to do the moonwalk, which other male artist comes close to him? No one, there will never be another mj. Thank you mj he gave up his youth to entertain us he worked hard to give us great music and performances, what do today’s artist do? They don’t even bother to learn to sing and dance properly we constantly see pictures of them clubbing/shopping they just want to be famous they don’t care about making an impact most of them don’t even have an ounce of impact they way mj did. Why did mj have to die? I wish people showed him the love that they are showing now after his death. I wish god would give us another gift like michael but I don’t think thats going to happen, Do you think any of today’s artist will sell $750 million? Never I am not a maddona fan but people love her, and obviously mariah is another great after those two we haven’t got much left but nobody had fans like michael jackson-the world loved this man all races all ages I hope he finds happines REST IN PEACE

I am truly beyond sad. A feeling that is almost hard to imagine for someone I have never met before. Yet I feel like I have. Since I was 5 now 31 I have always loved him. There can never be another Michael these gifts are far and few between. he changed so many things on so many levels, not just music. The outpouring of love from his fans is a testament to the connection he had with them. A generous, giving soul, who was sadly the target of so much negativity.. A person who never got to experience the joys of childhood and longed for that his journey through adulthood. I remember praying for him while he was on trial and anxiously awaiting the verdict believing in my heart he was innocent but scared to know the outcome. When he was acquitted the sight of the fans letting out the doves outside the courtroom is something I will never forget. He is someone I will never forget and right now I feel an emptiness that is really hard to describe. My prayers are with his children and his family. I hope and pray they do what Michael would’ve wanted. I have to say i find it amazing how these docs keep prescribing these pain killers that so many people get addicted to, including my aunt. It is so sad to see and my heart cries for him. I have seen firsthand what they can do to a person. You are almost given no choice..the pain without them supercedes the pain you felt before you were taking them. Something needs to be done.
Sun, June 28, 2009 8:26 AM
I honestly think that the promoters of the Michael Jackson’s comeback concert should still go ahead with thir plans but instead of having MJ there,They will be paying tributes to the legend..I am sure that he would definatley like that.Celebs that should help make the 50 concerts a reality in london!!!!!!

Michael Jackson, what more needs to be said. My heart is breaking. As we sat at home and watched each update that led to the final one that he was gone, my tears just flowed unchecked. My husband looked over and said “are you crazy how can you cry like that for someone you don’t know” I said because I loved him. You didn’t have to know him personally to love him, you felt joy when you listened to his music or saw him smile. You felt his sadness at times when you looked in his eyes. He is undoubtly the biggest influence on music and will never be surpassed. My prayers are with his family and fans, because I for one will mark this as one of the greatest losses the world will ever suffer.

There is nothing wrong with giving honor where honor is due! That is taught even in church. Giving honor and recognizing someone for their work is not worshipping. It is called paying your respects! We are doing it here because we will not be at his funeral. None of us will die without having done some wrong or having suffered being wrongly accused of something or being the victims of false allegations. Since you want to bring God into it He (through his son Jesus) also said “Let he who is without sin cast the first stone!” RIP Michael! If nothing else at least you no longer have to hear or see anybody else assassinate your character. Be blessed!

I can’t stop crying to this day!! I remember my mother use to tell me about the times she performed the Jackson 5 (with my cousins)and she was always Michael, because she could sing the best (my mother was so devestated by this lost)! I listened to the tribute song by The Game feat Chris Brown, Diddy, Boyz 2 Men, Usher, etc. That song should be performed on BET and I have been listening to ALL Michael’s songs this weekend and I will be buying every album (that I don’t already have) of his and the Jackson 5! The world, music and his fans have lost one of the GREATEST ENTERTAINERS EVER and may GOD keep him, love him and always know what new child he has up in heaven with him!! I will be praying for the ENTIRE Jackson family!!! GOD bless you Michale, I will miss you always!!

Michael Jackson: Some may say that Michael was a Child Molestor, some may say he got what he deserved, but to me Michael was only guilty of one thing. He is guilty for caring for people too much because obviously they did not appreciate him. Instead, they chose to torment him by keepinh his name in the tabloids, and take his Neverland Ranch away from him. A wise woman once told me that Michael died of a broken heart. I would have to say I agree. He could never be happy because of the stress that was inflicted upon him by the cruel and harsh media. Regardless to how anyone may feel about him, Michael was a musical genius and one of the greatest humanitarians in this world. He extended his heart and his home to people in need and unfortunately, this is the thanks he gets. R.I.P. Michael Joseph Jackson. I love you and can’t wait to meet you up there in heaven. Your music is the “soundtrack of our life” and you will forever be missed…Love you, Love You, Love You
