Michael Jackson Updates
We’ve got the latest on what’s happening with Michael Jackson’s estate and other updates:
- Michael’s will from 2002 was officially filed today. He expressly left his 3 children to his mother Katherine for her to be their guardian. If she couldn’t for any reason, he named Diana Ross as the alternate guardian.
- A petition filed with the will states that Michael’s estate is worth $500,000,000. Mostly non-cash assets including the Beatles catalog and other interests. He expressly said his cash should go to provide for his children.
- In his will, Michael left his estate to the Michael Jackson Family Trust. The beneficiaries are his children and his mother. Joe was not named.
- Michael expressly left Debbie Rowe out of the will saying “I have intentionally omitted to provide for my former wife, Deborah Rowe Jackson.”
- There is a hearing going on for the will today.
- The alleged crazy lady Nona who claimed she was Michael’s wife and is the mother of Michael Jackson’s kids a while back has come back on the scene. She filed a 93 page document to the court explaining how and why she is the mother and his ex-wife and why she deserves his estate.
- The viewing of the body is still set for this Friday at Neverland Ranch. But no plans for a burial have been made yet. It will supposedly happen at the Forest Lawn Memorial Park and Mortuaries in the Hollywood Hills.

*UPDATE: The Jackson family has released a statement saying that there will be NO public or private viewing at Neverland ranch this Friday:
“Contrary to previous news reports, the Jackson family is officially stating that there will be no public or private viewing at Neverland.
Plans are underway regarding a public memorial for Michael Jackson, and we will announce those plans shortly.”

Yes, Latoya wrote a book about her family…I don’t know if its off the shelves though. In that book, she claimed Michael was a pedophile and she said somethings about Janet too. There’s a difference between being strict and straight up abuse. Success was the result, but so was depression, alienation, body dysmorphia and addiction. It’s not like life after success was all wine and roses! A grown man would still cry when he thought about his childhood. I am just sad. We failed MJ. As fans we sought his creative genuis. But, we all knew and watched his demise. We saw him snap and we knew it was coming but when it happened we turned out backs. jacko wacko is what we called him. He needed counseling. He needed healing. He needed Jesus. The church failed Mike. He needed Jesus for real. And, I dont mean he needed to start doing “gospel” music. Take Mary J Blige, she is saved now and has found a balanced career in the secular world. And with Jesus she got HEALING.
Mike needed internal and mental healing and freedon. And, he never got it. Sad. Gone way too soon. All over sleep depreviation and insomnia.
I keep shaking my head in disbelief…

Well, that was some time ago, and you have a lifetime of Diana Ross to looks at with many accomplishments. And, she carries her self well, hasn’t been in any other trouble, and her kids seem to be well-educated, normally adjusted adult kids. You don’t hear about any bullshit, bad ways coming from out of the Ross camp. That is not an easy task in Hollyweird, to whomever left that silly msg above. Have you guys seen the tormoil and outcome of the Jackson family??? I think the mother and Ross are a fine selection. I also hope the mother will be allowed to participate in their lives. She has history to share with them about their father. Folks need to leave those kids alone. I hope they find peace and happiness.

We cant compare MJ or the Jacksons fame with anyone. U have huge child stars, who never grow up to become mega-stars. U have Teen stars who are huge for a certain time, or u have adult star , n the same goes for them. Mj was all 3. And he was a huge child star n from what I heard they were the black beatles and his fame skyrocketed from there. No one, No one has EVER be able to do that. So we cant compare anyone “Normalcy” to him End of story. Even Tommy Mottola(sp) same something similar on Larry king Live.. The world has never seen this done before.

Other people who were at Motown(Mary Wilson, Gladys Knight, Smokey Robinson and Berry Gordy, etc.) talked about how michael and his brothers were afraid of Joe when the Jackson 5 were recording or on tour.
More importantly, when you have 9 kids and not ONE of them want to have anything to do with you. They don’t want the grandchildren to have anything to do with you. You are just someone they tolerate because the mother begs them to. Yes, Katherine Jackson had to beg her children to be respectful to Joe. She told them they didn’t have love him just be respectful.
Back in the eighties, there was talk show called Donahue. Phil Donahue interviewed Katherine Jackson and Joe Jackson, LaToya Jackson, The brothers. He interview them together and some times separately. LaToya spilled all the secrets about the Jacksons.

I also heard that Michael met with gospel singer Andrae Crouch and his sister who is a minister and they prayed together with him, I don’t know if Michael accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior, but I sure hope so. God Bless his family, this has to be so hard, we all should pray for them.

One of the good things about this site is that people are able to get their points across in an educated way rather than abusive way-lovin it!
My view-MJ wouldn’t be where he is now if his dad didn’t push him so much, but as a black girl who was beaten by African mum when younger I think that some parents go too far with beating children and I think the long term effects are not good, MJ lost his childhood and although he is happy with his career and life he didn’t enjoy the simple things i.e. water fights, privacy, going through puberty in private. But at least he has done his best to be a good father and provide for his children in the will, never realised how close Diana Ross was to MJ and I think it’s a beautiful gesture to include her as a legal guardian after Katherine!

Michael spoke about the abuse at the hands of his father. I don’t need a made-for-tv-movie to tell me what Michael has said. Joe was brutal to those children, particularly Michael. I believe he was jealous of Michael’s talents, considering Joe is a failed musician himself. This is not the first instance of a parent being jealous of a child and it won’t be the last. I’m so tired of people saying beating a child is justified because a child needed discipline or it made that child a good student, star, basketball player, fill in the blanks. How is punching a child discipline. How is terrorizing a child with threats discipline. The problem I find is that Black folks condone beating children with belts, extension cords, objects and it’s disgusting. I saw women smack her 2 year old in the face, full open hand because he wouldn’t sit still. What 2 year old can sit still for more than 5 minutes. But I guess it’s okay as long as he grows up to be a big star.

I am writing again to let who ever reads this that i am michael jackson number one fan. I love him so much. I think of my king of pop every day of my life. And that is before his death as well. I know when i go home in heaven i will get to see him. So michael jackson fans if you know where you are going ,,just know that the king of pop lives on forever. ONly his body is dead .
