Jermaine Jackson: I Wish It Was Me…I Was Michael’s Backbone
In an interview broadcast this morning on NBC’s ‘Today’ show, Jermaine Jackson said he wishes he had died instead of his younger brother. He said that Michael was ‘a gift from Allah.’ He also said he would like to see Neverland Ranch as his brother Michael’s final resting place:
No final plans for a funeral have been announced still. Just unconfirmed speculations.

It’s really hard on a lot of people.. Michael has been around my whole child hood and everyone that I know has a special Michael Jackson momment, as to when he inspired them in some way. I’m still shell shocked behind this. I actually cried while driving my car, when I heard the news on the radio. I’ve never had the pleasure of meeting Michael Jackson personally, but he will forever live in my heart as I do love him like my own family. Blessing to the whole Jackson clan… even Joe. Praying for thier strength through this most sad moment.
The Jackson 5 song “whos lovin you” is my favorite MJ child song, “off the wall” stole my heart many years ago.. ALWAYS loved that song and always will- MJ is the best -KING

This whole situation is just so damn sad. I was watching this at work trying to hold back tears. God is just snatching people up left right and centre. When people like MICHAEL JACKSON start dying, that’s how you know things in this world are quickly spiraling downwards. Every other day someone is dying whether they be famous or not. It’s definitely a sign…whether or not we take it in is up to us.
Michael was so special and even though he was “different” you can’t discredit him for who or what he was. He was special…so special and it broke my heart to hear of his passing. I grew up with him and I’m only 24. I’ve cried almost every day since I heard the news….and to hear the wicked things people say about him are just that much more hurtful so I can’t even begin to imagine what his family is going through…
I feel so terrible, and this interview really made me sad. But I appreciate that it was done tastefully….Jermaine handled that reporter well because I saw him trying to get outta hand a couple of times there.
Lsst night in downtown Toronto we had a huge MJ Tribute party…it was beautiful…three hours of non-stop Michael Jackson music. No drama. No fuss. It was beautiful…now which other entertainer do you know that could bring people together and I mean THOUSANDS of people together in one place to dance and sing and cry and laugh in the night in partial rain showers ? I was a part of history and I’ll never forget it.
WE LOVE AND MISS YOU MICHAEL. REST PEACEEFULLY SWEETHEART!

As special & extraordinary as he was on Earth…he is just like the rest of us to God….May his soul rest in peace!

The passing of Michael Jackson has seen the end of an era.
An amazing artist, a compassionate man a tortured soul.
finally may he rest in peace beyond the realms of those who persecuted him.
In these twilight hrs may we bask in the radiance of his brilliance.
Appreciate the musical gifts he has left us with and share them for generations to come.
Michael a true showman right up to the end I fear will be the last of his kind.
Perhaps the greatest all round entertainer mankind will ever know.
Searching for his childhood all his life we can only hope that he has found it finally on the nether side of the pearly gates.
You will be sadly missed by those who grew up to the sound of your soul, gazed in awe at your theatrical vision and shared your compassion in humanitarian aid.
You will live on in our hearts as your songs return us to memories of times gone by…..and may we learn from the tragedy that was your life.
in loving memory…

MJ left his talent on the stage where he will be imitated and never duplicated forever. Side eye on the brothers and Latoya.

I’m not beliving all this hype about them trying to make him seem like he was doing a million and one drugs. If he was we would have seen and heard stories about him in the hospital and ish, I mean look at Emenim. Those drugs will mess your system up and here he is about to go on tour so obvioulsy his health wasn’t an issue. Stop lying Bastards!! These fools should have come out with this stuff before he died so don’t start talking ish now.

His music means so much more to me now as I listen to it. Regrettably, I’m just now realizing after watching old footage, video’s etc. that he truly was one of the greatest artist to ever live. Just listen to his lyric’s, the love, the pain, the desire for a better world: all that in addition to being an awesome performer–He truly was in my new opinion…an Angel, that God called home. God bless you MJ, there will never be another. Peace and unconditional Love are now yours forever in God’s heavenly kingdom! Rest in Peace, you deserve it.

Jermaine and Janet and their mother was the closest to him. I can see the pain in his eyes, and probably some regret of not been there for him up to his death, but i understand bcos no one expected it. It just reminds me no one is above death, it can be anybody, anytime, and i wish people will understand life is not guranteed, and live their life to focus on important things.
I’ve never stood up, defended, cried my eyes out, for any celebrity, the way I did for M.J. Regardless of how the world or media try to portray M.J. as Wacko Jacko, I just never bought into it, because what M.J. went through from his childhood to adulthood is not a joke, which explained his isolated, lonely, low self esteem, his childlike behaviors, because he never had a childhood, or some things that seemed strange to people, but it was all for a reason.
Ok, M.J. was hooked on drugs, but people make it seem like it was some illegal drugs. I’m even still surprise that they have not found anything yet in his body, because i remember they found up to ten different drugs in Elvis’s system. I work in the hospital, and I’m not surprised or shocked that he was addicted to painkillers. M.J. was in physical and emotional pain, the way he used his body, the dance moves, the emotional stress, will require him to take these prescribed drugs, to alleviate pain, that will make him forget about the pain, but it’s temporary, so they continue to take these drugs, until they become an addict.
In many situations, in the hospital, when patients ask for painkiller drugs, they are very adamant, passionate, in tears, emotional about it, and some even become violent that no matter how much we don’t want to give it to them, we end up giving it to them in some circumstances, but of course in small dosages and not srong medications, through our help to make sure they don’t misuse or overdose.
I still don’t know why B.E.T, not that I watch it, but tune in once in a while to see if they have any tribute to M.J. has not showed any documentaries, videos, about M.J. like how CNN, Entertainment channel has done it. It’s quite interesting.
