Here are my thoughts: why do women make these lifelong decisions of having a child with a man that you hardly know and/or hasn’t even thought about asking you to marry him. I think it is much harder to have a child, then it is to get married. Should women really be willing to make a long-lasting decision that actually surpasses their own life (that is if you predecease your child) with a man that you hardly know? Why not wait? What is the rush?
I just found out that my friend’s employee is 9 weeks pregnant with a man that she met two months ago at a CVS (he works there.) Now, I can’t say what will happen in the future, but I can’t imagine the relationship will stable as you throw in the dynamics of: I don’t know you really, our relationship is primarily based on sex and now we are going to have a child. I love my mother, but if she would have just paused for a moment, maybe she would not have had to deal with my deadbeat dad all throughout my childhood! Now, I am happy that I am here, but I can tell you that it was one hell of a childhood with Daddy’s broken promises! LOL!! Made me an overachiever and a little cynical! :-) Just sharing!
