I don’t know why anybody believes that BET is worth watching. That fiasco that they called a ‘tribute’ to Michael Jackson was the straw that broke the camel’s back. They have done nothing but show the black community in a bad light, when they should be doing the opposite. I’ve never given Keyshia’s family the time of day. It’s great to know I wasn’t missing anything.
As for Dawn, I never followed MTB, DK or Day 26. The pics are cool I guess.
For me, TM is in the same category as Teyana Taylor. I know they have talent due to their following but I have no idea what they do or have done to earn that status.
Anyway, I only posted to comment on MJ’s memorial. It will be bittersweet but I’m glad he is finally getting the peace he has never had in life. My thoughts and prayers are with his mother and children. R.I.P. the greatest that has ever lived.

So proud of Dawn for finally believing in her self and no longer trying to be the R&B chick everyone expects her to be. She tried. She didn’t want anything going on unless she approved it, but BET went ahead with it anyway.
That almost brought me to tears b/c I was actually in Frankie’s corner (I think more for Keyshia than anything) & she failed. It may sound harsh, but she did. She was def high as a kite. Sad. I feel the need to pray.

I concur. I work with a group of white males that are from small towns and have had very little interaction with black people. It’s sad that one tried to spark up a conversation with me about the “Tiny & Toya” show. He ignorantly admitted that he thought all black people watched BET. Allowing himself to get a little too comfortable, he even mentioned a video circulating YouTube about “ghetto girl names”. I must admit, I felt rather insulted, but I did educate him and set the facts straight.

I agree with the statements below. Debra Lee is making BLACK WOMEN LOOK BAD by broadcasting these shows…she should think more highly of herself and her daughter than to project these images of us…..
I don’t know why anybody believes that BET is worth watching. That fiasco that they called a ‘tribute’ to Michael Jackson was the straw that broke the camel’s back. They have done nothing but show the black community in a bad light, when they should be doing the opposite. Its a damn shame that I have to go to CNN to see their special, “Black in America,” to see positive images of my fellow blacks. I don’t have any management experience, but I know damn well that Debra Lee is not qualified for the job that she is supposed to be doing. Somebody needs to step in and relieve her of her position before she embarrasses us any further

Frankie’s DEATH is being played out on NATIONAL TV.(Micheal Jackson)…you would think with all these enablers someone would care enough to put her behind in a treatment center for a extended period. If she was my MOM I WOULD SEND HER BUTT..across the world to and exclusive treatment center for a period of 3-5yrs..she would have all of her needs met but she wouldnt get a DIME…unless she came out a changed person!! I know I’m late but I had to comment on Frankie. She looks like a damn fool and looks like her ass is still on Crack. She needs to go sit her tired, old, wrinkly ass down and act her age.
I feel sorry for Keisha. I would not be associated with her if that was my mother.
And as for Dawn I think she looks good. Wayyy better than she did before.
