First off: Its nothing like a fan scorned! Almost like a woman scorned. I understand that The Game looked up to JayZ but he should just let JayZ and his arrogance ride out his last little wave.
Second, I dont like JayZ. I know I say this all the time but reality is, JayZ is not a man. He makes his money off exploiting certain people. Lmao at “Change of Heart”. I used to love that show. Anyway, based on Jay’s lyrics, it doesn’t seem like he is attacking Game. Either way,they are both too old to be beefing each other. There is no expiration date on talent. So, Jay may be old, but skills don’t die. Like someone else said, no one says artists in other music genres are labeled as too old. Rap shouldn’t be any exception.
I think this is just a publicity stunt, though. Game wants the attention. If he didn’t, he would’ve said his thoughts behind closed doors, not in a place where cameras and video were freely rolling.

You know not a thing about hip hop music, and show personal bias against Jay. Anybody who is anybody in Hip Hop will tell you Jay is Hip Hop. This guy carried the game on his back for 13 years straight, so how can you say that. You also claim to know hip hop, yet you name the same five rappers people name when they are trying to sound credible. Jayz will go down in history as one of the greatest hip hop artists of all time, based on his success, and strong lyrical content, and expansive catalogue. When Blueprint 3 goes number one, that will be his 11th number one and he will only be behind The Beatles as having the most, and he did all of this by staying true to himself and hip hop music. It’s also funny how yo umention the Roots when Quest Love just referred to Jay as the King, and they fully backed Jay on MTV’s Unplugged, they are very close and intune with Jays music.
How can you say Jay only glorifies drugs and violence when that is not the case? Is D.O.A about drugs? You must have completely skipped tracks from his last catalogue from Blueprint on up. At least eight years worth of material you know nothing about. Even American Gangster was not glorifying the game, with tracks like Pray, Say Hello, No Hook,, Helli, FALLIN..which speaks directly on how the being in the game will mess you up and yo ushouldn’t go that route. So you can’t say his whole catalogue is based off of that. You may not prefer Jay as an artist but only non studiers of the culture could try to say that Jayz isn’t Hip Hop. Just ask Michael Eric Dyson an educated Hip Hop Scholar what he would think of that? He would definitely disagree as he has featured Jay in his book, as an authority in hip hop music. Stop it.

Jay made no profit off of Nas signing to Def Jam…again where is your proof stan? Jay got paid an employee salary…that’s about it! Antonio LA Reid signed Nas…that is why you Jay stans sound DUMB and DUMBER as you try to discredit Nas…who has absolutely nothing to do with this beef with Jay and Game by the way! I have to disagree with you about the car analogy. Success is never an A to B situation. Whenever you get to the next level you are usually at that point given more opportunities then you had at a lower level. So, its really hard to chart your whole course in the beginning of your career because you never know what you will be exposed to on your journey.
If you live your life by saying I’m just going to reach my goal and then sit down, you will probably not reach your true potential which is far beyond what you could see from point A.
I also have to say that if you are at a certain level, you shouldn’t have to come down just to appease other people. Just because T-Pain and Soulja Boy are successful at what they do, doesn’t mean that he needs to join them.

Sometimes I think people are soo consumed by the hood that its almost impossible for them to see past anything else…damn man…wat happened to us! Iam not a Jay-z fan. Iam not a Game fan. Iam not a Nas fan. Iam not a Kayne fan. Iam not nor have I ever been a fan of anybody. I hand my respect and thats the most any of the artist have ever gotten from me. I’ve worked in the music industry for 15 years, and have personally worked with many of the artist that was in discussion today, be it through music or countless business ventures. One thing i am though, is a respecter of a persons hustle, ambition, grind, and determination. I have had many conversations with many rappers and all respect aside, the only person that was worth doing business with was Jay-Z and 50 cent. I come to this website and read up on certain things b/c it is apart of what I do. I just don’t understand half the stuff some of these people care about, or half of the stuff some of these people said. I do want to mention that a good 95% of what was said today by almost all of the commentors was completely untrue. You guys are looking from the outside in. You are very bias. If yo were a student or follower of music you would know that Hip Hop is a culture. Rap music/Hip Hop however you want to spin it, is a sub genre of the entire Hip Hop culture. So while you may some are only true MCs, the fact that Jayz has contributed to the Hip Hop culture for some 13 years, then I would say that pretty much classifies him as Hip Hop…not only that his expansive catalogue backs it up. Jay has done so much for Hip Hop musc. Jay helped Lupe get put on, Kanye West was making beats for Jayzs classic albums, noone would give him a chance until Jay heard him out, and that is how he got his deal…think the song “Big Brother”, so how on earth can you say that hes not? Do you listen to the music or just skim through it?
You can definitely tell you have listened to his catalogue for the past eight years. Because everyone knows that when Jay comes out it is always beyond the radio singles and he drops introspective material. He is one of the only artists gifted with the ability to put on a party tune, but still be able to deliever true messages and lyrical ability in his music. And one of the only whose album you can put in start to finish, and not have an older adult cringe at what they are saying, or feel embarassed. No b.itches, h.oes, unnecessary cursing just straight lyrical content. Thats that and for every club song, you can name ten more Jay songs to counteract that one and have a deeper message. Thats something you wont ever get if ur just denying his presence in the hip hop culture.
