Michael Jackson Laid To Rest
Stars including ELIZABETH TAYLOR, MACAULAY CULKIN and LISA MARIE PRESLEY turned out to honor MICHAEL JACKSON as he was laid to rest in a private ceremony in California - ten weeks after his sudden death:
R.I.P. Michael.

The Jackson clan and friends came together once more last night at Forest Lawn cemetary to pay their respects.
Jackson’s family, including his mother Katherine and father Joe, his siblings, and his three children Prince Michael, Paris, and Prince Michael II, also known as Blanket, were driven to the memorial park in a fleet of Rolls Royce limousines - arriving over an hour late for the planned 7pm (local time) start.
The star’s close friends including Macaulay Culkin and his girlfriend Mila Kunis, actor Chris Tucker, and Elizabeth Taylor attended the outdoor ceremony, which saw around 200 guests seated on white chairs on the lawns outside the crypt and signing a book of condolence for the fallen King of Pop.
Taylor was left devastated by her close friend’s death and refused to attend his public memorial service because she didn’t want to be part of the “whoopla,” but agreed to attend the private ceremony on Thursday.
Jackson’s ex-wife Presley also turned out to honour her late former husband.
Aretha Franklin and Gladys Knight were both reportedly ask to sing at the tribute, ahead of Jackson’s $30,000 (£20,000) gold casket being lowered into a concrete burial pit close to stars including Clark Gable, Jean Harlow and his idol Walt Disney.
Security was tight at the service, with police setting up a wide perimeter around the park to stop fans getting anywhere near the private ceremony. Helicopters with thermal imaging devices also circled overhead to detect any unwanted intruders.
Two fans reportedly attempted to gatecrash the event in the hours leading up to the service, but they were swiftly apprehended by security guards and then removed by police, according to Sky News.
The family reportedly planned to hold a private celebration following the service at an Italian restaurant in Pasadena, California.

Accepting Michael’s passing has been difficult for me even after two months. I see the expression of deep sorrow on his mother’s face and think, “It must be true after all” and my heart breaks all over again. That is just how difficult it has been to accept his death. And the circumstances surrounding his death makes it even worse. I mean, he died so needlessly.
I have been a fan for most of my life and I will be for the rest of it. Michael was an extraordinary gifted artist and a beautiful human being. May God bless his family.

I thought this was beautiful for the family, i am heartbroken but i feel its selfish of people to find a problem with the fact that the family had two services or picking on what a famiy member was wearing, its not about us.This family lost their son, their child and brother of 50 years, let them greive how they want, they’ve been nothing but dignified,in july it was a memorial for themselves as well as fans which was generous this funeral was more personal and private and still the family had a video stream for people to see. You know I respect that everyone has the right to voice their own opinion. What I do not respect is people expressing their opinion to people who are in mourning or to people who are diametrically opposed to your opinion - just so you can get a rise out of folks. Bottom line, MJ has done more for Black people than you will ever do. When you die, a few people will mourn. When he died, the WORLD mourned. That’s the power this man had - LOVE. I don’t care if 2 of his children weren’t Black. He was a good Daddy to them. When you think about Michael’s message (if you’re intelligent enough to actually do some research before you open your damn mouth) you may come to find that Michael didn’t see color, race, nationality, age, nothing. i love Michael and His mom Katherine…..i really dislike his sister Latoya, she said some damaging things about Mike in the past when he was alive, I know that they were reconciled for a while before he died, but how could you do that to your brother, not just your brother, your “younger” brother. No matter how old a sibling gets, the older sibling usually always try to protect him/her, and i think Latoya failed to do that. she’s all about attention, she and jermaine are the only ones that do tons of interviews, and i think it’s never for the benefit of michael, at least not on Latoya’s part.

Steve D has a point and I love MJ too, but that question will never go away, and obviously some folks are sensitive about it. We all want to know what the deal was on that decision. I’m sure if you are black, and cannot have your own kids, you are not choosing to have white ones instead. I’m black and most people who use a surrogate want children who look like them or at least the same race. He did have issues with this (unless he was tricked because these kids are Jewish), but he was a great man, and great entertainer. We will never know the truth.

MJ was not buried before because the brothers were trying to figure out the best way to get paid by using his body, this is the type of family this is. Then they dragged his already stressed out grieving mother to experience this all over again. You can now understand why Michael kept his distance from them and I totally get it. Kathryn is probably sad because she knows the truth and was forced to have to endure it. Diana Ross had the good sense to stay home and not be a part of it. I don’t blame her. And Latoya is dressed like this because its not about Michael, its about her, just no respect for her brother’s memory whatsover. But Jermaine is the main one. Google his song Word to the Bad and really read the lyrics. It will tell you everything you need to know. And he let the window down so you could get a clear picture of him even though it was something like 90 degrees. He is riding on his brother’s success because he never had any of his own.

i hate the fact that people still bring this up…but im happy that he has been laid to rest and i hope that all those poeple who made fun of him and criticised him are now regreting….everyone in nigeria followed you…everyone in africa followed you…even though you never came here we still love you and hope that you find the peace that you have been wanting for a long time..but at the same time you killed yourself because of the drugs but due to the excess fame so there was a reason why you started..

Just because someone has a different opinion than yours, you try to shoot them down.
Look at the facts:
• Even if you believe that crap about him having a skin disease. What about the hair straightening / Nose jobs, Cheek implanting etc to look more white?
• Google: “Michael Jackson David Nordahl paintings” Then you’ll see MJ vision of heaven. MJ commissioned these paintings.
•If your Avatar Photo is of you when you were younger, MJ wouldn’t find you to be very attractive (By the way, I think it’s a very cute picture). He NEVER hung around little brown-skinned girls (or boys either).
•I stand behind my previous comments about the “perfect” family that he created.
I’m not looking for attention. Many of you refuse to open your eyes, you’ve been brainwashed.
