Sounds like Chris Brown is pining for the lost love of his life. And we’re guessing he’s talking about Rihanna–mainly because the vid he posted as well had nothing but their pics in it. According to the Gossip Girls:
“MY HEART IS INCOMPLETE… the part that is complete is my love for fans, career, friends, family… God. But I’m missing someone or something,” Brown, 20, wrote on his Twitter page.
Brown also added a link to his new song, “Changed Man,” on video sharing Web site YouTube – which shows a bunch of pictures of him and Rihanna together. Of the photos, most are of the couple together who dated around 18 months. The pictures show the once happy couple kissing, cuddling, and laughing together.
Chris added on Twitter, “Sorry all, just one of those days.”

*Cue Dru Hill* Sorry but I’m a sucker for a man showing he’s in love so I do feel for Chris. But I may be burnt at the stake for saying that so…
Meanwhile, that audio of President Obama’s off the record comment about Kanye being a “jackass” due to Hennygate ‘09 has surfaced. Am I the only one not seeing the problem with his OFF THE RECORD and personal comment–seeing that he wasn’t doing an official interview or press conference? ABC has since apologized for the leak. Sounds like it’s the journalist who was in poor taste for even breaking the journalistic rule of letting off the record stay off the record. Just my opinion…

Tue, September 15, 2009 8:57 PM
Im first! Hilarious
Tue, September 15, 2009 8:57 PM
Obama! I agree but thats something you say to close friends or family, not during an interview
Tue, September 15, 2009 8:57 PM
That voice sounds a little off. Is this REALLY him??
Tue, September 15, 2009 8:58 PM

uu never know..but..i don think he lookin 4 attention
Tue, September 15, 2009 9:01 PM
awwww Crissy you so sweat you still in love with RIRI awwwww
I guess he started his counseling and is being honest about his feelings. I guess it was just one of those days.
Obama is clearly joking but you know the media is on the I hate Kanye train now so yeah lets see how this pans out.
Tue, September 15, 2009 9:02 PM
Why do people find it so hard to believe that the young man could actually still have feelings for her? He is human, you know. Oh well, Chris, do you. Not everyone will be satisfied.
Tue, September 15, 2009 9:02 PM
I’m so over chris and rihanna they deserve each other. All abusers(chris and rihanna) are always in love with the person they beat why because they feel they have control over that person.(IMO)
And for everyone who says they are cute together i have this question for you.Would you allow your child to be in a relationship with abuse going on in it ?
Tue, September 15, 2009 9:02 PM
I wonder what Mr prez said about homeboy who called him a liar. Let me hear that, lol! Anywho Chris Loves u!! And you will get your girl back soon!!
Tue, September 15, 2009 9:03 PM
Chris you “f-ed up” so get over it. && I dont know why people are upset about what the president said. He just simply stated what half of america was saying on fb & twitter that night anyways. I love my president..he keeps it real
Tue, September 15, 2009 9:04 PM
President Obama kept it real! Many of us called Kanye worst names than that when we saw what he did to that poor girl, who was receiving that award for the first time, and was so excited about it, ONLY TO HAVE Kanye rip the mic out of her hand, and then diss her on national t.v.
What Kanye did was disrespectuful, and hurtful, it was a jackass move – plain and simple.
Tue, September 15, 2009 9:05 PM
OH OH SOMEBODY GETTIN FIRED ……………..
Tue, September 15, 2009 9:06 PM
Of course he is saying these things for publicity i mean he needs to remain focus on his community service and other ish but his album is coming out so he is trying to remain relevant so try writing ish that is (in)sincere.(bish plz)
Tue, September 15, 2009 9:06 PM
i don think chris is jus lookn fo attention..
cuz if it was rele juust a PR stunt its cant be..cause if his ppl wer monitoring him..they wouldn have let him post dat shjit he got bashed for about wendy williams and oprah//so i think he serious///still want riri
Tue, September 15, 2009 9:07 PM
Obama is a puppet joke so who cares?? i hope chris is being sincere and if Rhianna does still love him she doesnt do her heart a disservice by making her judgement based on bloggers…i hope she gives it a go with an open heart and mind as well as open eyes…good luck to Chrhianna!!
Tue, September 15, 2009 9:08 PM
LMAO… I FOUND NOTHING WRONG WITH WAT OBAMA SAID! CNN N FOX KEEP ASKING THE PUBLIC “WAS THE COMMENT APPROPIATE” BECAUSE HE HOLDS THE HIGHEST OFFICE IN THE LAND. AND I SAY HELL YEA IT WAS APPROPIATE.LOL. HE DIDNT CUT KANYE OFF OR INTERRUPT HIM ON STAGE AND SAY THIS COMMENT… IT WAS OFF THE RECORD AND AN OPINION. EVERYONE IS ENTITLED TO THEIR OWN OPINIONS. THEY WAY KANYE’S DRUNK ASS PRESENTED HIS OPINION IT WAS ALL WRONG. THASRT’S WHY PPL R SO PISSED. IT’S NOT A “COLOR THANG” OR WHATEVER…IT WAS A “RESPECT THANG.” AND THE DUMMY THAT RATTED PREZ OBAMA-RAMA OUT IS A JERK N DOESNT KNOW WAT “OFF THE RECORD” MEANS. EVERYONE TWEETING CRAP THESE DAYS. I CANT BELIEVE “TWEETING” IS NOW A VERB.LOL. LEAVE MY PRESIDENT ALONE!!!!!
Tue, September 15, 2009 9:11 PM
***I GOT A FEW SPELLING PROBLEMS… HELL, YALL KNOW WAT I MEANT
Tue, September 15, 2009 9:13 PM
LOL at this being about his album coming out.
Someone sent his a video on youtube and he probably started getting sentimental thinking about what they had. He even said its one of those days. Men always have one of those days where they miss their ex because they screwed up.
I have no doubt in my mind Rihanna wouldn’t hesitate to take him back if the stay away order were not in place.
Contrary to popular belief Chris brown is still an immensely popular and talented artist.
Tue, September 15, 2009 9:13 PM
I think obama was wrong to even entertain that question. the comment was not presidential and beneath his position. when joe wilson heckled him, he graciously accepted the apology and even gave him a pass, but when he wanted to kiss up to white america, he threw kanye under the bus. kanye was wrong, but we expect that from a rapper. what I do not expect is for my president to stoop to name-calling when my country is in disarray: health care, education, jobs, etc
Tue, September 15, 2009 9:16 PM
LMAO HAHAHAH that was too funny obama lol then give the president some slack lol ok but he (kanye) is a jackass 4 that wonder how kanye feels about the Prez calling him that lol
Tue, September 15, 2009 9:22 PM
Oh please, the president is a human being just like everyone else so cut him some slack. Kanye was being a Jackass at that moment and i’m sure that’s exactly what Barack meant.
Chris..stop being a pussy. You want her one day then hate her the next. STFU!
Tue, September 15, 2009 9:23 PM
yes he is popular an talented just leave rihanna alone thats all and it will stay that way.
Tue, September 15, 2009 9:25 PM
First..Leave chris ALONE..Im so tired of people picking at him, he made a mistake…you know how many of these sports players and rappers beat their women constantly?! He made a mistake once and hes payin for it…hes still in love with her and this is probably a really difficult situation so lay off..And did anybody ever ask about what part she had in all that, shes no angel so dont get it twisted.
Anyways…
Leave Obezee alone too, if you know how to read you’ll know that the comment was made off the record, a mic happened to be on…he’s human, hes american and he has the right to comment on whatever he wishes-he has opinions like the rest of us.I agreewith him, he had NO right stealing the spolight from that girl, regardless of what his feelings were about the award, it wasnt his place…so cut the prez some slack lol..Im just waitin for Kanye to cut up again next week..he never fails to piss me off..SMH
Tue, September 15, 2009 9:28 PM
chris brown is so annoying… get ova it u aint guna be with her until another 5 years or when ever so save us the crying of a river…..Nextttttttt!!!!
Obama is a joker if it is him that said that.. i personally dont think theres anything wrong…but thats jst me
Tue, September 15, 2009 9:29 PM
Poor kids! I’ve been there especially at their age. I believe he loves her. The people on here saying it’s a PR stunt don’t really believe that, they just want to be mean (unfortunately). He was having a moment. If you look at the time it was like 5am. He was probably alone listening to music an surfing the internet. Reflection time we’ve all had it.I’m sure all of you have had a day/moment that you expressed on myspace, facebook or twitter. Well he’s human just like you. Sometimes you just need to release. I hope that if they still want to be together, work on their friendship, whatever, I hope they are allowed to do that. She just needs to have the balls to tell the public to mind their business like most celebs do. If they have the proper counseling and guidance (spiritual and otherwise) they will be okay. I wish them the best. I know with my first love it was 10 yrs of off and on, cheating, lies, etc., but I wasn’t done until I said I was done and there wasn’t anything anyone could tell me. Even now that we are both single again I still have days when i want to just say hello. So it’s not easy. Many of us have been there whether we admit it or not. I hope they both get their hearts desire. I wish them the best and all the positivety!!
Tue, September 15, 2009 9:32 PM
Chris is going to find himself in prison.
Didn’t the judge say no communication through a third party? technically, twitter is communication through a third party!
young love is so dumb love
Tue, September 15, 2009 9:34 PM
I read Chris’s tweets this morning and I was TOUCHED!! Must be hard not speaking/ being intouch with the person you love most! He obviously really loved her…cos I was STUNNED when he said he could spend the rest of his life with her!
Tue, September 15, 2009 9:34 PM
oh god , i don’t loke this sh….
Tue, September 15, 2009 9:35 PM
The price of fame, critical info on matters dealing with national security has been leaked before by the media. Such as CIA interrogators and top informants. It’s what they do. I know Kanye is somewhere at home crying right now, I bet Obama is his hero. I would pay money to hear what Rahm Emanuel had to say, he is notorious for his explicit vulgarity.
Tue, September 15, 2009 9:37 PM
This just seems like the worst week in Hollyweird. Most of these celebrities need to take a nap and wake up on the right side of the bed.
Was that really Obama’s voice? But if he did say it, he called a spade a spade, Kanye was a jackass that night. How many people called Kanye a worst thing over this.
Whatever at Chris Brown
Tue, September 15, 2009 9:37 PM
OK i cant believe im saying this….but AWWWWWWWW@ Chris..sniff sniff… i feel u tasha i might get burnt too lol.. but im a sucker for love lol
Tue, September 15, 2009 9:38 PM
I don’t care what Chris says, what he did is of far greater consequence to me. If Rihanna is wise she will not give him the chance to do it again. A man that is capable of that has NO RESPECT for women. Many women in endless domestic violence cycles speak of their man’s remorse and pain, dosen’t mean that ass won’t get beat again.
Tue, September 15, 2009 9:39 PM
I’m sure Chris really does miss Rihanna but the way some people are swooning over this is a little disconcerting to me. It reminds me of when an abuser sweet talks his way back into a girls life after beating the crap out of her, except in some strange way the American public has become that girl. He knew what he was doing when he posted that and I think he’s disguising his desire to be back in Rihanna’s good graces with trying to be back in ours before his album comes out.
Tue, September 15, 2009 9:43 PM
This was not a black or white issue. It was the President stating the obvious, Kanye is a “jackass.” Black, white, latino, we all said the same damn thing, so big deal. And why should we expect our rappers to all be ignorant and disrespectful?
Tue, September 15, 2009 9:45 PM
Kissing up to white America? See, it is the thoughts of people like this that hold us from moving past the race game everyone has started to play since President Obama ran for office. How often do you talk about something other than work at your job? When I got to work Monday morning, all everybody wanted to talk about (whites and blacks) was the VMAs. Every opportunity, people took to criticize Kanye. This is our problem, we act like President Obama is our savior. Not criticizing what he has done for this country and world (bringing change and a spirit of hope; accomplishing what many have strived and worked for to no avail), but the man is human! And of course he should respond! As any black American, we are to step up NOW and better our ways! We wanted a black president so bad, but didn’t realize at what cost to us it would be. And that is to be accountable for our OWN actions. President Obama is a husband and FATHER before his job. He is to protect Malia and Sasha from this (who were probably watching because almost anyone at their age enjoys Taylor Swift). As the Chief officer of the United States, he must also address the moral of the country. And Kanye’s actions are doing nothing but setting us all back. Way to go Mr. President!
Tue, September 15, 2009 9:45 PM
What makes us individuals, is what makes us individuals. Until you personally speak with both Chris and Rihanna there is no textbook ANYthing you can throw at either one of them or their behavior. People kill me with that most abusers ish..No two liars are the same. No two sexual partners are the same..No two people are the same. Please stop with this “the typical blah, blah, blah” ish…
Tue, September 15, 2009 9:49 PM
How do you know he isn’t in her good graces if he wasn’t she would be dissing him left and right and throwing shade.
The only thing we really know for sure about their relationship is what he said on LK. He didn’t hesitate at all when he said he loved her and would have spent the rest of his life with her. That boy was a mess with answering everything else but I think his feelings are real.
Tue, September 15, 2009 9:51 PM
I completely agree with you that the journalist was tasteless by posting the OFF THE RECORD comment, and THEN posting the audio from the interview. WTF? Does OFF THE RECORD mean ANYTHING ANYMORE???!!!! What is the point of saying OFF THE RECORD if you are not going to adhere to it. He should be fired!
Tue, September 15, 2009 9:52 PM
Well he wasn’t thinking about this when he gave the broad a face lift without tools.
Tue, September 15, 2009 9:52 PM
Love it…I have been there too and cant imagine a judge telling me who I can be with. That is some hard ish for anyone because I always make my own decision. It must suck to that you are forced to stay away even though both aint ready. I say Free Will, in a country that supposedly advocates it. I am glad that Rihanna,if anything, is trying to move on. Hell she may not want him back and for good reasons too.
Tue, September 15, 2009 9:57 PM
Over Chris and Rihanna. Pres is right, Kanye was being a complete jackhole. I also think Kanye should be tested for bipolar disorder. Highs and lows are too extreme.
Tue, September 15, 2009 10:02 PM
WHETHER IT WAS RIGHT OR WRONG U KNOW U FUCKED UP WHEN THE PRESIDENT CALLED U OUT! IM WAITIN ON HIM CALL LIL MAMA OUT TOO CUZ SHE THE ONE WHO STOLE THE SHOW…. LITERALLY FROM JAY Z! AND BOO HOO CHRIS! U SHOULD OF THOUGHT ABOUT THAT BEFORE U BASHED HER HEAD IN AND MADE IT EVEN BIGGER HE BETTER GET USED TO SEEIN THEIR PICS CUZ THATS THE CLOSET HE’LL EVER GET TO HER
Tue, September 15, 2009 10:09 PM
that does not sound like the president! and why would he say give the president some slack! he and everyone knows his title so why would he have to say it during the interview!
Tue, September 15, 2009 10:11 PM
I think Obama needs to stick to the real important issues and not pay these nutty ass celebrities and their off the wall antics any mind. He’s better than all of them put together. He’s The President!
Chris Brown your 20. You have PLENTY of time to fall in love again. Dude go get some books to read and get off Twitter LOL
Tue, September 15, 2009 10:14 PM
Chileeeee, Chris. No comment.
Obama, damn.
Tue, September 15, 2009 10:24 PM
I’m sorry but i wouldnt have called him a jackass in front of a white reporter… the white people on my job was talkin about it and they was like kanye is a nig.. but stop cuz they saw me and then said asshole and said isnt that the same one that disrespected bush.. and i took up for him and said both times he was telling the truth but it was just at the wrong time but i know he was wrong but im not putting him down in front of them plus i like messin with them… but obama can say it whenever he wants to but look what happens when you do.. little did he know he was talkin to a jackass also!!!lmao
Tue, September 15, 2009 10:25 PM
I am NOT a fan of Rhianna….. but looking at that video, I have to say that those pics of her with him and the pics of her as of late are almost 2 COMPLETLY different people. I hope Chirs learned from this and I hope she did as well (b/c i still believe there is more to the story). If they want to be together then they should. Life is too damn short to not be happy.
Tue, September 15, 2009 10:35 PM
AGREED 100%
Tue, September 15, 2009 10:36 PM
I think the morale of the country would be better boosted if the healthcare bill was passed, if jobs were available, and if our education system was overhauled. my morale was not lifted by his name-calling. it was awful what kanye did, but it was demeaning to have the PRESIDENT weigh in on it. obama wasn’t even this mad when someone called him a liar to his face
Tue, September 15, 2009 10:42 PM
First off Obama did not sound mad or irate in the audio and he stated that he has bigger stuff on his plate. He just said it matter of factly that Kany acted like a Jackass.
I wonder who screens these journalist. Are they really allowed to ask anything they want to the Prez?
Tue, September 15, 2009 11:06 PM
Like all Jackasses!!!
MISS COMPLETE
Tue, September 15, 2009 11:07 PM
yIKES.
Tue, September 15, 2009 11:08 PM
Kanye shouldn’t have gotten on stage while Taylor was giving her speech, it was her moment. So yes he was being a jackass. It was kinda nice to hear the president say a little bad word. They all was having small talk before things officially begun but someone had on a microphone and happened to catch what was being said. I’m glad that he isn’t being critizied for saying what he said tho.
Tue, September 15, 2009 11:10 PM
I absolutely agree with you w/journalistic screening. I defy anybody to find a link from 2005 when ODB when off on the awards show b/c he thought he should have won. NOT ONE COMMENT FROM GEORGE BUSH. and part of it is b/c (I bet) no journalist asked him such a silly question about what he thought about it. and if they did, he probably wouldnt have cared one way or another what happens on a video awards show. part of the problem is that obama does not realize that by a journalist even asking him this question, it is a form of racism. he was set up to make a comment and he fell for it, speaking out of turn. just like when Gates was arrested and he called it stupidity, only to have to eat his words. he should make the journalists respect by not even dignifying certain questions, b/c I don’t think they would have asked any other president that ridiculous question: what did he think; what do you think he thought?
And I didn’t mean he was mad or irate, I meant he gave joe wilson a pass for doing something way more egregious: I think calling the sitting president a liar is far worse than hijacking an award.
Tue, September 15, 2009 11:11 PM
AH a Deep Thinker – SEE
Tue, September 15, 2009 11:14 PM
Good 2 know Mr obama watches telly like the rest of us!! Awww and bless chris brown 4 trying, i really believe that hes sorry and loves rihanna and im sure she feels the same way!! But chris, hang in there me old son, after five years u just might{fingers crossed 4 u} get back 2getha!!
Tue, September 15, 2009 11:15 PM
Another One still Cracked & Crumblin – C Brown go put on a diaper and go to Bed…
Tue, September 15, 2009 11:17 PM
Go to Bed Wannabee
Tue, September 15, 2009 11:19 PM
You know that national debt
Ain’t as big as my ego
And Obama never get
A number-one single
I’m the best rapper yet
Ain’t no jackass like Steve-O
Don’t listen to da President
He don’t care ’bout black people.
Tue, September 15, 2009 11:28 PM
I really have not wanted to judge/comment on Chris and Rhianna, I don’t know them damn people, and at the end of the day they are two young kids. I do not agree that Chris expressing his love for Rhianna on Twitter is cute. I have been in a domestic violence situation, and the guy ALWAYS comes back trying to make you believe how sorry and changed he is. I understand people make mistakes, and I dont think Chris is evil and his career is over, or anything like that. But as a woman who has been in Rhianna’s shoes, its a very serious and traumatizing thing to have happen to you, especially when you are that young. I hope Chris gets help and therapy, and looks at what role he played in that incident. I wasn’t in the car. I dont know what happened, who started what, etc. All I know is, they need to stay away from each other. Love like that is no good for anyone.
Tue, September 15, 2009 11:29 PM
Right On!!!!! I agree! You know OBAMA is blamed for EVERYTHING!! He can’t breathe or do anything without it making headlines SMH….
Chris you can do SO MUCH BETTER without Rihanna. Shouldn’ have wasted time with her in the first place. They both are taking it hard obviously. Whether people want to believe it or not. CB does need to release his album though because I WILL be buying!!
Tue, September 15, 2009 11:34 PM
Ummm…I just got one of my degrees in journalism and YES the media has gone down the drains. NOTHING important is being reported. Ever wonder why pointless celeb stories end up on big time news stations like CNN?! They don’t want to public to know the truth about a lot of situations. I would NEVER ask Prez that! NEVER!! It makes the news station look bad. That is being messy. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but when you’re in a high powered position and the most HATED/TARGET man in this country you can’t say what’s on your mind all the time. In a way I don’t believe it’s him speaking though…..but whatev
Tue, September 15, 2009 11:44 PM
1st obama aint need to b doin that cuz if a white prez did it black people woulda been fired up so dont fake !!!
2nd on or off the record he shoulda jus been lik i have nothin to do wit that all these real issues goin on he worried bout ye.. come on now.
3rd Wat ye did was rude , an he kno he got problems and there is no 1 givin him council . either love him or leave em alone!
Tue, September 15, 2009 11:45 PM
DAYUM I AGREE WITH YOU……….NOW MY ASS IS GETTING ALL WEEPY EYED THINKING ABOUT A LOVE I LOST :(
Tue, September 15, 2009 11:47 PM
i know how u feel Chris..this same shit happen to me the other day too, just got out of a 3 years relationship, its tough. its not easy to forget about that person, you know the good times, all those sweet memories together. but me and my ex remain friends tho,i could call him or see him whenever. so its not the same situation as chrianna…
Tue, September 15, 2009 11:50 PM
CNN is fair and balanced, on the other hand, Faux News is definitely biased, just like MSNBC is biased. I bet your a Faux News Fan.
Tue, September 15, 2009 11:56 PM
That’s exactly what I was thinking. You took the words right out of my mouth. People swear he is not a human being who has feelings…. smh
Wed, September 16, 2009 12:00 AM
Oh HELL NO!! Don’t you EVER assume that. LMAO!!! :-) I read the papers for my news. News stations are tooo biased and opinionated
Wed, September 16, 2009 12:03 AM
awwww i kinda feel sorry for chris, i believe rihanna feels the same way.chris up at 5 am, rihanna walking the streets all types of hours ,yup they both can’t sleep. classic signs of heart break
Wed, September 16, 2009 12:06 AM
I lost all respect for the president. He ain’t say nothin to that white boi that interrupted his speech, ole scary ass. he trying suck up to them white people.
Wed, September 16, 2009 12:06 AM
also maybe it was one of those days b’cuz he saw rihanna performing @ MSG & JAY LENO PROBABLY brought back memories. may be seeing her in her element he remembered how amazing he thinks she is.
Wed, September 16, 2009 12:12 AM
Now girl you know these newspapers are going out of business because most folks are getting their news online. I do enjoy the Sunday paper though.
Wed, September 16, 2009 12:12 AM
sling your hook u stupid twat!!
Wed, September 16, 2009 12:40 AM
Lol wow! You lost ALL respect for the president based on his response to Kanye West’s outburst at the VMAs. Judge the man based on his POLICIES…your respect for the first black president of the United States..vanished because he thinks what every other black person thinks about Kanye West.
In addition obviously he would not make a comment about the person who made the outburst towards him..Joe Wilson made himself look like an idiot and Obama was the bigger man and didn’t feel the need to call him out on what was already apparent. In this instance Obama was making a commentary about a completely separate, pop-culture related outburst that was not even directed towards him. Get it together
Wed, September 16, 2009 12:41 AM
“Sorry but I’m a sucker for a man showing he’s in love so I do feel for Chris”
That’s Ok Natasha, maybe you’ve never had a man tell you he’s going to beat the ish out of you when you get home, and then proceed to bite, choke and punch you. I understand, well not really, but you’re free to have an opinion like the rest of us.
Chris and his mom have been talking about all this “help” he’s going to be getting….why do I have a feeling it’s just filler time until his next big single?
As for Obama, I would suggest staying out of all these crazy issues…from offering his college football pics to speaking out on the Harvard Doc–the Pres. should have more important stuff to deal with.
Wed, September 16, 2009 12:46 AM
wait a minute how did i miss this jerry maguire line…. i could see the reunion now… chris & rih hooking up for the 1St time and chris says ” you complete me” rih replies ” just shut up,shut up you had me at hello, you had me at hello. DAMN ITS ABOUT TIME SOME BODY DO THIS MOVIE OF THE GREATEST LOVE STORY EVER TOLD. I THINK CHRIS SAID ROMEO & JULIET! LOL
Wed, September 16, 2009 12:49 AM
You lost all respect for the president based on that??? You are clearly an idiot. Please stay as far as from voting boths as possible.
Wed, September 16, 2009 1:12 AM
Me too. Especially for those coupons. LOL!! I’m so old schooled.
Wed, September 16, 2009 1:37 AM
OK YES KANYE DID ACT LIKE A JACKASS THAT NIGHT BUT THE ISSUE I HAVE WITH PRES.OBAMA WHY THE HELL HE DIDNT CALL JOE A JACKASS( FOR CALL’N HIM A LIER) AND JOE ACTUALLY DID SOMETHING THAT DID OR SHOULD’VE OFFENDED HIM. BUT KANYE WEST OFFENDED WHITE AMERICA & NOW HE’S A JACKASS…..SMDH!
Wed, September 16, 2009 1:41 AM
I agree. However, I like to add that Obama is in a different position from other presidents. Obama is socially in tuned with the American society. So, he sees and hears the issues that matters to the public, because he is in tuned and younger than other presidents.
On the other hand, this was an issue/ opinion that does not belong in the public sphere. Obama should have never commented on the issue publicly. This is something said to an inner circle. However, he did, and this was not the first time a president has crossed the social and racial line. Regan is noted for saying a lot of “off the record” racist and rude comments. Plz do not hang Obama as well. Yes, he failed to realize that the question in itself was racist, but we all are naive at times. His guard was definitely down. He felt comfortable with saying such a statement, which raises other questions about Obama’s and journalist behind the scenes conversations, inner circle dealings and true feelings on social issues. It was a moment of transparency for Obama, and I’m sure he is reevaluating the situation right now.

ON ANOTHER NOTE I BET TAYLOR SWIFT HAS ALREADY MOVED ON FROM THIS “INCIDENT” WHILE IN THE MEANTIME BLACK FOLKS ARE DO’N WHAT WE DO BEST GO’N AGAINST EACH OTHER WHILE WHITEY HAS THE LAST LAUGH!!!
Wed, September 16, 2009 1:42 AM
I agree–It’s hard for him to stay away from the one he loves…THAT BOY REALLY LOVES HER!! I’ve been there…the sleepless nights-missing them-long talks on the phone-being together. Rihanna and CB were ALWAYS together, and in love. But the judge had to do what she thought was right. Chris has to pay for the bad decisions he makes in his life. Rihanna has moved on and has accepted that it’s impossible for them to be together..but I’m sure she misses him too. It was true love at best, but it just took a bad turn.
As for OBAMA-I agreed with his statement..Kanye was a jackass. It just shows that Obama is human just like the rest of us. But in his position–yes I do think that he should have altered his opinions a bit to fit a more politically correct stance deserving of a man in his position. Obama is the first African American President of the USA…so ppl are going to be overly critical of his every move. We live in a racist world..and their gonna try to tear Obama down every chance they get. STAY STRONG ‘O’!!!
Wed, September 16, 2009 1:45 AM
shuddup.
Wed, September 16, 2009 1:46 AM
lolol@the CB comment…very true tho. He’ll fall in love again…so will she.
Wed, September 16, 2009 2:01 AM
Are you for real?? Wow what an idiot.
Wed, September 16, 2009 2:14 AM
he shouldn’t have commented at all then. The Kanye West situation isn’t even relevant to him. But he call Kanye out and not Joe Wilson? That’s bullshit. They basically did the same thing. Just because he’s the first black president it doesn’t mean I’m going to just respect whatever he do. He doing some fake shit. I have no respect for him now because I see he’s just catering to white people.
Wed, September 16, 2009 2:20 AM
WAIT DID U JUST SAY THE WHITE PPL @ UR JOB WAS ABOUT 2 CALL HIM A NIG.. UNTIL THEY SAW U?? AND THEN CALLED HIM AN ASSHOLE ARE U WHITE? CAUSE IF NT PLEASE BELIEVE THEY CALL UR ASS A NIG.. BEHIND UR BACK ALSO! LOL
Wed, September 16, 2009 2:28 AM
While I agree that the issue of Kanye West and Taylor Swift is somewhat below the subject matter with which the president should be concerned, it is not subject matter with which any American should not be allowed to comment. I say this to mean that I think the whole point of Obama’s comment being “off the record” was that this was not a statement issued by the president to the people; rather this was the opinion of Mr. Obama (not president) on a pop-culture incident that had nothing to do with public policy or his role as president. You keep saying, he didn’t call out Joe Wilson for what he said and that’s what makes the situation bullshit, but what would you have him do? Joe Wilson issued an apology directly following the incident. So, you’re saying you would want Obama to call Joe Wilson out (whatever that means) even after an apology had been issued by him to the president. What, did you want him to say, “No, Joe. I don’t accept your apology.” ???? The Joe Wilson situation and the Kanye West situation are fairly different in my eyes.
Additionally, just because Obama’s the first black president doesn’t mean I respect everything that he DOES (not do), but I am critical of him only in his public policy decisions. Foolishness like how he feels about Kanye West should not shape our level of respect for a man who has worked incredibly hard and is really trying to implement positive changes in this country in many ways.

HOVA… IS THAT U??
Wed, September 16, 2009 2:37 AM
FYI: IT’S SWEET NOT SWEAT HONEY NOTE 2 ALL CHILDREN…STAY IN SCHOOL!
Wed, September 16, 2009 2:52 AM
Didn’t Kanye apologize? He still came at the man. Your argument is totally wrong. His condemnation of Kanye shows his discrepancy when judging others. He was quick to call Kanye a jackass yet didn’t have anything to say about Joe Wilson. It shows that he holds different people to different standards. I can’t respect a man that is scared or afraid of being disliked and won’t express his opinions due to the backlash he might get. I should have voted McCain
Wed, September 16, 2009 2:57 AM
that’s our president and i love him!
he got a lil. too comfortable with those around him. they (those who dislike him) are always waiting for him to slip up. like he said, he has a lot on his plate. no need for bringing up foolery.
Wed, September 16, 2009 3:29 AM
How do you all know he didnt call Joe Wilson out? Who knows what he and his wife called Joe Wilson OFF THE RECORD. We were not supposed to hear what he said about Kanye West. That is Barrack’s opinion and he is entitled to have one. We don’t know what he was thinking when Joe Wilson called him a liar. For all we know he thought ‘you fuckin cracker I’m runnin this fuckin country now go SAT your white ass down.’

Wed, September 16, 2009 4:01 AM
LG – Life’s Good….
Wed, September 16, 2009 4:29 AM
Oh Plz….Kanye is a jackass and maybe now with the president saying that he will seriously change his ways. Kanye has done some pretty outlandish shyt so he needs a wake up call.
Chris Brown….yay! Don’t get me confused u were wrong but I believe u are remorseful and it will never happen again. Its obvious that u really do love her….nothing wrong with
Wed, September 16, 2009 5:02 AM
Barack Obama..smh, something in my heart told me to vote for Hilary Clinton too!!!…she still would have lost to Barack, but atleast I would feel better! ….Oh and chris STFU DUMB BITCH, i’m 19 years old too and i am not a baby, he knows right from wrong and he is EVIL!!
Wed, September 16, 2009 5:06 AM
LMAO Chris aint crying out, isn’t it human to miss someone you spent 24/7 of your life with? Let it be.
As for Obama…WTF? Why should they even be discussing what went down at the VMA’s, THE VMA’s!!! They got him over there in DC looking a damn fool. I’m still waiting for this EPIC CHANGE to take place because from where I am standing [sitting] nothing has changed a hot bit!!!!!!
:|
Wed, September 16, 2009 6:30 AM
classic move by the prez!
….on the next “this is what happens when keeping it real goes wrong” (using dave chappelle voice)
Wed, September 16, 2009 6:35 AM
how could he miss it, or anyone for that matter. it was all over the news!! EPIC CHANGE? obama’s not God. there is so much ish he has to fix. it’s not going to happen in seven days like God did. let alone 9 months…
Wed, September 16, 2009 6:39 AM
Maybe the president shouldn’t have called Kanye a “jackass”, what he could have said is what Kanye did was “jackassish”. Therefore he would have been talking about Kanye’s actions instead of calling him an awful name, because we know what Kanye did was wrong and he has sense apologized but to call him out his name is very unclassy, and grade school level.
Wed, September 16, 2009 6:39 AM
BTW, can someone please tell chris brown that when he references God, he needs to capitalize it. that is if he is referring to The All Mighty God. cause when you don’t, the word “god” spelled lowercase can mean anything.
Wed, September 16, 2009 7:29 AM
the president is correct! Kanye is a Jackass!!! cant’s stand that sucker, even before this episode.
Wed, September 16, 2009 7:35 AM
I can’t believe obama even acknowledged this, he gotta kno by now that people are looking for anything to criticize him about.
HA HA CHRIS BROWN! i know its killin him to see rihanna performing and looking great without his ass. He shouldve thought about all them pics when he was whoopin that ass.
Wed, September 16, 2009 7:55 AM
I don’t think you’re understanding my argument. When I brought up the point about what Obama said as being “off the record” I meant that he was not issuing public condemnation for Kanye West in a formal statement from the president. He was speaking in terms of his opinion as a man watching the VMAs. Lol, you act like you know Obama personally. Do you know he didn’t have anything to say about Joe Wilson? For all we know, Obama could have been really heated about Joe Wilson. He could have cursed up a storm to other people OFF THE RECORD, who did not see fit to put it up on blogs or post videos or tape recordings regarding his feelings. I think there’s a huge difference between addressing the Joe Wilson incident by accepting the apology that was formally issued to him (still don’t know what you would have had Obama say following that “this is unacceptable, I do not accept your apology” ????), and making a commentary as a person far removed from the situation simply observing and stating his opinion about how something played out, as in that of Kanye West and Taylor Swift.
All I’m saying is you’re acting like he’s a complete phoney and fraud because he wasn’t up in arms about Joe Wilson. Well, he wasn’t really up in arms about Kanye either, he just thinks the guy acted like a jackass and that sentiment came to the fore as a result of a press leak, not Obama publicly condemning the man.
Wed, September 16, 2009 7:56 AM
Obama insulted donkeys eveyrwhere
Wed, September 16, 2009 8:02 AM
Well said. He has every right to state his OPINION. Kanye was being a jack azz and it’s not the first time. Furthermore, Obama lived in Chicago so I am sure he has heard proabaly alot of other jack-azz moment stories from others about Kanye’s behavior..stuff that we don’t even know about.
Wed, September 16, 2009 8:04 AM
If you are waiting for an EPIC change in 10 months then you have bigger problems, not Obama. You are the voter that should have just voted for the Greenpeace Party.
Wed, September 16, 2009 8:25 AM
So you have never cracked a joke or a made a comment about someone you shouldnt have at work. The MAN IS HUMAN regardless of what you all may think. He eats, sh*ts, cusses and screws just like the rest of us. I applaude him for his honesty and candidness. Something we havent had in 8 years! Just because he is the president doesnt mean he has to be an uptight politically correct robot all the damn time…i’m sure Obama is well aware of what is going on in this country. If you feel you can do a better job then run for his job 2012….geesh
Wed, September 16, 2009 8:37 AM
We dont know what he said about Joe Wilson behind the scenes. This Kanye story got leaked so it would be unfair to say oh he didnt say anything to Joe…we wouldnt know bc it didnt get leaked…DUH!You cant tell me O wasnt cussing like a sailor or didnt even mention it afterwards. Come on now…be real.
Wed, September 16, 2009 8:39 AM
THANK YOU!!!!
Wed, September 16, 2009 8:53 AM
Right! ITS NOT THAT SERIOUS!!!I dont understand why y’all are so concerned with whether Chris really still loves Rihanna and whether its sincere and whether they should get back together and how cute it all is. I’ve even seen people post that they nearly cried after seeeing whatever video chris posted.
Reminder…and Relaity Check!!! YOU DONT KNOW THESE PEOPLE! Get over them and live your lives! So SAD
Wed, September 16, 2009 8:56 AM
Do you know what “off the record means “?
Wed, September 16, 2009 9:04 AM
To those stupid ass people who are saying something like: “With all of the problems this country has, what is Obama doing discussing the VMA awards?”.
Look idiots, if you’ve gotten yourself into a jam due to your own lack of planning and stupidity (i.e. Didn’t finish high school, felony convictions on your record, more kids than you can afford to take care of. etc…) Don’t expect Obama to wave a magic wand and fix the enormous mess that he inherited.
In the mean time, take a good long hard look in the mirror. If you’re honest with yourself, you’ll realize that 80% of the problems that you have are of your own making (for most people anyway). Figure out how to dig yourself out of your mess.
Wed, September 16, 2009 9:19 AM
I agree. And he should have said the same thing about Mr. Wilson too. DURING the address.
Wed, September 16, 2009 9:24 AM
that just didn’t sound like Obama to me, awww Chris be strong!
Wed, September 16, 2009 9:34 AM
If you ask me he was aware the question might be leaked…he said “where’s the pool”…and “cut the president some slack”.
Wed, September 16, 2009 9:41 AM
yes I know what “off the record” means, but I also know that Obama is a target, and he only truly “off the record” with michelle, malia, and sasha. anybody else he is talking to, he is never truly “off the record”. he should have known that it was a hot-button issue and chosen his words more carefully. how many times will he have to put his foot in his mouth before he knows that reporters are not his friend? for instance the Gates arrest, when he spoke out of turn, and LATER SAID HE SHOULD NOT HAVE USED THOSE WORDS. say what you will or may, but if you ask obama today he would agree with me instead of all of you who think he was just being human. He should never just be anything but the leader of the free world. name-calling is beneath his profession, and to say otherwise says you do not understand the austerity of the office.
Wed, September 16, 2009 9:48 AM
yes I have fun at work, but since I am the boss I do not become so familiar with those who follow me, that I use name-calling at my job. I am best friends with the person who is directly under me, but I do not say (just) anything to her because I am the leader. there are things I refrain from saying because it would not sound the same coming from my mouth and coming from someone else’s mouth. You expect more from a leader. and because of the position I hold, I am never really “off the record”. everything I say is scrutinized to death because people expect more from me. it gets on my nerves sometimes but someone told me a long time ago: others may you cannot. and it is true; leadership is not about relating to people it is all about leading. and a leader in any position should not resort to name-calling to make a point. I’ll bet you he IMMEDIATELY regretted his choice of words as soon as he said it.
Wed, September 16, 2009 10:05 AM
Kanye is an azzhole. The senator from South Carolina is a bigger azzhole.
Wed, September 16, 2009 10:32 AM
I totally agree
Wed, September 16, 2009 10:34 AM
It wasn’t an interview & the person who allowed the leak is the damn jackass!
Wed, September 16, 2009 10:44 AM
Wed, September 16, 2009 10:59 AM
I don’t think Obama even cares that the “off the record” comment was leaked. That man has to deal with the fact that at any given moment his life can be snuffed out b/c of some ignorant man or woman who thinks that just b/c he is HALF black he doesn’t desereve to be President. I mean let’s look at the fact that when he was doing that town hall meeting in Arizona a man was allowed to have an automatic rifle, pistol or whatever kind of gun it was in a holster right outside of the building he was in. Never have a I heard of any other President having to deal with such issues.
He took on this job to try to change this country for his daughters. Let us not forget that he has two young daughters that will have to go out into this jacked up world one day so I believe he is doing his best to try to turn things around. The problem is that ignorance is bigger than he is and people are expecting a miracle in 9 short months. It took 8 long years to get us to this point (probably longer than that actually), so give the man some time to TRY to get us out of it. It is downright lunacy to expect the country to have a drastic turnaround in 9 months.
Furthermore he knows what is going on in pop culture b/c again he has a preteen daughter who I am sure he talks to on a regular basis. And I have no doubt that if he spoke to Kanye face to face he would tell him the same thing… “Dude you are a jackass….WTF were you thinking”… I have read his books and don’t think that just b/c he wears a suit and tie everyday that he can’t get real when he needs to… He can…. and deservedly so…
Wed, September 16, 2009 11:24 AM
i agree. but does he really need to tweet about it?
Leave her alone Chris, if she dont call she is not interested.
Twitter has somehow become the psychologist for celebs

Chris you “f-ed up” so get over it. && I dont know why people are upset about what the president said. He just simply stated what half of america was saying on fb & twitter that night anyways. I love my president..he keeps it real
To whatever: I completely agree, it’s not like the president lied he called it spade for spade!
Wed, September 16, 2009 11:37 AM
To everyone that had a comment about OBAMA and his jacksass comment.
STFU. Seriously. He’s a guy having a casual conversation (off the record)
Where was all this scrutiny when Bush was running us into the ground?
Wed, September 16, 2009 12:21 PM
Ladies and Gents (and all those in between) that want to know why President Obama didn’t “Call That White Senator Out” as you say the reason is because President Obama is a Chess Player when it comes to life.. In other words…. he is a thinker. If he had said anything negative at all off the record or on about that idiot after the man made an apology (which was within the hour that he said it), then that’s all you would’ve seen or heard about in the media. His opposers would’ve used his negative comment to rile up more crazies. It’s like this…. The man is smart. He did not win Presidency by “Going Off” and letting everything negative thing said about him cause him to react. Believe you me, he probably said a lot about Senator Wilson but you and I will never know what it was. I for one respect the fact that we have an intellect as President that is slowly but surely making the changes that need to be made. It’s not easy for him to endure criticism from all sides and a lesser man would’ve crumbled. The problem with some of us is that we want someone who is perfect and to do all the things we want done but ask yourself this….How many Presidents before him did everything to your liking??
As far as the Kanye being a Jackass comment. He was right, he’s human so he does have an opinion, he did not call a press conference to make this statement so this was his own personal viewpoint. Not a big deal so move on.
Wed, September 16, 2009 1:05 PM
LOL! ROTF! Obama had what you call a nigga moment….we all have’em.
He probably called Joe Wilson all kinds of s.o.b’s and jackasses , etc….we just didn’t get him on tape. He and Michelle have all kinds of talks in that presidential bedroom @ night.
Wed, September 16, 2009 3:14 PM
Oh for pity’s sake. I cannot believe that I am seeing all this vitriol about ‘why didn’t Obama call out Joe Wilson like he’s calling out Kanye blah blah’.
He didn’t ‘call out’ Kanye per se – he thought the comment was OFF THE RECORD.
If y’all would read a little more, you would realise that the conversation was basically just some chit chat as they were getting ready to begin the interview. The interviewer asked the President if his daughters were as upset over the Swift/West incident as his own were and then they just talked about it and Obama said what everyone else has been saying – Kanye is a jackass.
Some of you are just ridiculous, climbing all up on your 10 foot tall high horses, saying the president should ’stay out’ of issues like this and the journalist should not even have asked him such a question and blah blah.
Get your knickers out of their knot. It was chit-chat and he made an off-hand and honest comment. Just because he is the president doesn’t mean he should become some kind of robot or monk that is disconnected from anything ‘non-presidential’ in this world.
Wed, September 16, 2009 5:37 PM
how funny that while he was goin out wit lil rih rih he never wanted to talk bout their relationship, claiming its private. but now that he smacked her upside her forehead and potentially ended his career his doing youtube speacials.
PUBLICITY STUNT!
Wed, September 16, 2009 9:21 PM
the question to the President was racist? How idiotic. I suppose the fact that a black man sleeps in a place called the “White House” is racist as well. Lord, help these people..GET A LIFE. Obama a target of the media? Highly unlikely. The Media Research Center did a study that showed Obama has received more favorable press than Bush(no surprise) and Bill Clinton.
Wed, September 16, 2009 9:23 PM
elle U.K., I concurr. Publicity stunt, period, the end.
