Eve Shuts Down Clothing Line & Leaves Label!
TheYBF.com caught up with E-V-E on last night’s VH1 Hip Hop Honors red carpet. And she revealed that she has permanently shut down her Fetish clothing line. We reported a while back that she was in the midst of revamping the line for a re-release possibly under a different name and under a different company. But she tells us everything has completely ended due to “legal reasons”. Hmm.
Eve also confirmed that she has indeed left her label Geffen Records. Which means her album Flirt won’t be seeing the light of day anytime soon. It was supposed to be released two years ago. She says she’s still working on some things but is a “free agent” as of right now. She’s in the upcoming Drew Barrymore and Ellen Page movie Whip It! and will be guest starring on “Glee”.
Here’s the ATL Housewives previews for tonight’s episode: Shereé has the rare opportunity to have a portrait done by a notable ATL artist, where he compares her look to that of a “queen”. Trying to living up to that regal title, Shereé throws an “Independence Party” where NeNe coners Kim and tells her she can’t sell “Tardy for the Party” without her – will another fight break out? And Kim reveals that she is seeing “Big Poppa” yet again — will she finally give him an ultimatum?

I love Eve. She should stick with acting because she’s one of a few musicians who is able to master the craft. And Kim needs to hit the gym. Busy trying to be a mistress instead of handling them jelly rolls.

i was looking forward to seeing it but the only Fetish clothing i ever saw were t-shirts.
eve started as a stripper so there is no reason why amber cant come up on a clothing line (or whatever she wants) as well. plus eve used to strip in a GRIMY spot called the golden lady in the bronx. even when i lived in the bronx i was scared to go to that part….lol. seeeeeeeedy

Absolutely LOVED her show.
So funny and entertaining and again her comedic delivery was great. Although her show is still being shown on cable, IMO it really should never have been cancelled.

Rhianna…a brand…I think not. All she had was umbrellas. Just because she has her pic taken by the paps everyday doesn’t make her a “brand.” Endorsements, product lines, etc make u a label or brand. NeNe is taking the steps. She’s coming out with a book— I wouldn’t say she’s made it yet and I don’t know if she will but she’s def. taken steps. Now beyonce and J.
