Im all for a marriage and working it out, but D. Wade has been separated from his wife for YEARS. They’ve been going through a pretty nasty divorce for some time now.
I think YBF calling Gabby his “mistress” is kinda wrong..after his marriage broke up people were seeing him & Starr Jones together while Gabby was still hooked up with Hill Harper. But since Starr Jones isn’t a ‘good’ story, we must make villains and heroes in a story there probably isn’t one, with younger, hotter characters. PLEASE.

that man has been separated for a year (maybe longer) from his wife… so let him do what he wants. they are legally separated. when a lot of money is involved divorces can take a very long time (even years). so if they do not want to sit around and wait for a piece of paper to tell them they are divorced, they don’t have to. what they do is b/t them and their God. it is not for anyone to judge. i know i didn’t wait on that piece of paper to move on b/c when i moved out i considered my marriage over. no going back and i knew it.

It took me a while to get a divorce and mines was uncontested lol. Dwayne and his wife were separated long before he hooked up with Gabby. The papers weren’t finalized yet because there are assets involed.

So if a person has been seperated for years and is moving on with his/her life this person can’t date unless the court stamps finalized on the divorice papers? What if the divorce takes years? It’s clear that morals are not a thing to be proud of anymore. Look…married is married. Yes, there are exceptions to the rule at times. But, we’re all ready to give up those exceptions as the rule as the standards. People don’t want to just outright condemn getting it in when you’re still married. What’s funny is those same people who are hollering “good for them, f-k his wife and kids” are surprised when their significant other steps out and have the audacity get mad. Stop the madness. If his divorce is taking a long time, so be it. It’s the price of being married and having money. Life does go on, but really…is it too much to ask for him (or anyone else in this situation) to just wait to move on?
And, Kimora was divorced when her and her man got together. And…Russell was surely out there dating as well. Get it right!

Even though my soon to be ex husband is a lying, triffling snake, I’m not about to do wrong. I’m waiting until I have my final divorce papers in hand before I even think about “moving on”. For me, it’s a matter of decency, and honestly, most divorces don’t take much longer than a few months to be final. I think people should wait for the papers before trying to either sleep around or call themselves getting another man or woman.
As far as separation goes, not all states (including mine) recognize legal separation. So, while these men are up in you women’s faces talking about being separated from their wives, you need to make sure they’re not feeding you bullshit.

First, people need to remember that a marriage is between the two people who make the commitment. Maybe Gabby got involved with Dwayne before he made the decision that being with his wife was no longer what he wanted, but maybe not. Dwayne Wade made the commitment to his wife (probably way before he was ready to be married to anyone) so it was up to Dwayne to honor that commitment. Bottomline: there’s no such thing as someone “breaking up a happy home.” Someone can, however, come along and exploit cracks or deficiencies in the marriage but those issues were there before the outsider came into the picture (regardless of what the oblivious partner claims). I’ve been married for almost 10 years now: people change and it takes work to stay committed because you want to be, not simply because that’s the promise you made, you have kids, financial reasons, etc. I suspect that before Gabby, Dwayne was “basking in the glow” of the attention and tasted the sweet nectar of several other women aside from his wife. It looks like he may actually be in love with Gabby. I know his wife is hurt but God willing she will find love again and it will be better the second time around.
