I think Kandi is very beautiful but the makeup, the eyebrows and the hair are too harsh. She needs a much softer look – those flips, that is a typical Saturday morning at the salon special. It has to go if you want to be cutting edge. You can’t be on a cover of a mag with the exact hairstyle that all short haircuts in ATL basically look like. ATL is flip central!!! Sorry, but in this game, you got to be little bit orginal. I think people will say – aaahhh, that’s Kandi, so sweet but it won’t command attention. Just my opinion. Anyway, why be an artist and deal with all this bullshit – produce and write and let the money roll in!!!! This industry is too fickle and talent unfortuantely takes a backseat to a long list of things.

I like the face. Its very cutting edge and high fashion. If you look a magazine ads, most of them arent smiling. People dont say they look mad. Why do black people have to hate so much. She doesnt look bad. However, I dont like her hair. They could have done something different. They could have also given her better eye makeup. But she looks good.
