Now that I got that out of my system (first baby!), I’ll say this. I’m not a domestic violence coordinator and I can see CLEARLY through Chris Brown’s antics and it’s disgusting. He has albums to sell so of course he’s going to start running the PR gamut appearing pitiful and “torn” because he knows that his adoring young fans can’t get enough of the “I’m so sorry baby” act. They’ll all feel just terrible about the “awful” and “horrible” Rihanna because she’s ignoring this sweet man in time of need. Can’t she see he’s sooooo sorry?! What’s wrong with her??!
Fans will feel so bad that they’ll push his album to number one, petition that Doublemint take him back and stage a hunger strike. They will lap continue to this bullshit up by the bucket and soon enough calm will be restored in his world. He will be able to move on without the cruel and evil Rihanna. He will love again–someday. But this time, he will find some deserving of his love. Maybe someone who’ll be able to take a punch like a real woman…
Please. Take a bow Chris. Nice act–one of the finest performances I have yet to see.

I believe he’s sincere. The only thing is, if he and Rih Rih ever get back together and he gets angry, she’s going to always be afraid and flash back to when he did this. It will not go away. I truly believe that he is being sincere. It is very hard to get over someone that you have to see all the time, e.g. internet,blogs. I think that he truly is struggling with this, and people must remember they had decided to be back together. It was the courts that forced the situation to part. I think that he has learned his lesson, and will grow from this incident.

I think this is very sweet and sincere of Chris. If the court order was not in place for them to stay away from one another, I am sure they would be trying to work things out. I am not an advocate for abuse, but EVERYONE makes mistakes, and we are not the ones to judge them. I honestly wish they can work things out.

I clearly think Chris was wrong for the domestic abuse part and I would never condone it. I was very disappointed in him for that, and I felt sorry for both of them at the same time. As I watched the video I felt sad again for both of them, because WE ALL KNOW HOW A MISTAKE CAN RUIN EVERYTHING IN OUR LIFE OR CHANGE IT FOREVER. I will say this, I really think he is genuine with this vid post and wish him and rhi the best however this plays out, but being in the public eye shines light on teenage domestic abuse, so people can try and help teens through this. Ilove them both as artists and I really wish that others can find it in their hearts to see past them as artists and remember that they are still teens or just remember your teen years and your mistakes and ask yourself, “How would my life be if the world new the bad things that I have done,the people that I have hurt, the lies that I have told, but I have learned from and I am truly sorry for making?” Bottom line he was wrong, and I hope he gets help, but I wish him the best.

i actually felt sorry for him. I actually think that he loved her or loved to control her one. I’m really confused. Because it look like it was a bad incident. Sometimes when you are young, things happen. My brother in law and my sister use to fight all the time. He even bit my sister. My father got in his face and they also called the police. His mother had a talk with him and they have been together for 29 years. He is the best husband anyone could ask for. He is a pastor now and a great father and provider to both his sons and my sister. He works and my sister gets to stay home. Men can change and be sincere. Everyone is not doom to be an abuser the rest of their life. My sister did not go through years of abuse either. This stuff lasted a couple months and he straighten up. They have a wonderful marriage. So, it is possible Chris is sincere and IF he is I hope it all works out for him and her.

I think he’s sincere. I’m sure Rhianna does too. Like he said, he has trouble expressing emotion. Any child who sees abuse growing up is going to be scarred… I know first hand. Same with Rihanna. She has issues expressing emotion too. She has insecurity/trust issues. They are both so young. What made her slap him silly so many times before he snapped on her? What made him hurt her so bad and publicly humiliate her like that? What happened between them is both of their faults. They can both grow and learn from this…

Anyway, many men who abuse women are NOT tainted for life! Many can change with the right support and intense therapy. Women get away with slashing tires, filing false rape claims, poking holes in condoms, stalking, harrassing wives and GF’s, and a host of other non-violent tactics but somehow that is not taken seriously…. I agree. I have seen it happen both ways. I think if the behavior is caught at a young, and is not a repeat pattern, they can change and their is help for him. My brother in law was young and just out there. He is a very very good man. My sister has absolutely no problems out of him. He is a wonderful guy. It was just a couple altercations. She also was fighting him as well and may have even started it. Some, men will hit you back and it may not be pretty. That is just keeping it real. I persnally think that Chris has a chance and will probably never make this mistake again. He has alot to lose. He could have been a buster and not owned up to what he has done. I’m proud of him. I was raised in abusive household. I thought that was life. When, I got older I realized that it is not what God had in store for marriage. I saw my father for the monster he was and still is. That being said, people are different my my brother in law is a great man and it was just a couple incidents, my father is and always be an abuser and controlling, whether it is mentally or physically. Oh, and I just checked, why does some think he needs Rhianna for publicity? His latest “I can transform ya” is #1 on itunes R&B top 10 and #21 on itunes top 100; it’s #16 on Billboard R&B and #27 on their top 100.

I certainly do not think this is a PR scam to drum up some potential album sales. It’s something more than that which only Rih Rih and Chris can identify with. Yes, we all make mistakes and believe it or not, I sincerely hope that they both get back together. Possibly this vital time apart will enable them to grow separately as human beings, so when they finally do unite, they can start again on the right foot. I love these two together. I wish they could have another chance at it. I truly believe Chris is sorry, and really wants to change his ways. When rihanna was with him she always had a smile on her face. They were happy together. NOw a days they both look miserable. I know they still love each other. Awwwww you guys who are hating you are basically saying people cannot have a 2nd chance. No one and I mean no one is perfect. Domestic violence is very wrong but these two are soooooo young that I think they should have a chance to move past it. I mean 20 and 21 and that should be the end of the line and the end of their personal growth? I listened to his interview the other day and I could hear in his voice that he was torn and kept on saying he still had feelings for Rhianna. If you look at the montage you can see there is genuine love and affection between the two. I do commend the judge for ordering them apart and I think that was done with their age in consideration and also to give them time to seperate and think. I am as jaded as most but this seems to me to be a genuine post on CB part. I dont think a PR person would advise someone to post something like that considering the backlash.

Wow a lot of great comments–I agree with this one too..however, RiRi is also a comical and likes to play jokes on the ppl closest to her-she’s as silly as Chris. I believe CB made her feel like a kid again-and she loved that. He was teaching her how to dance, skateboard…etc-they did things that most of us enjoyed doing at that age, and still do. They went to movies, amusement parks, shopping, swimming, jetskiing or even if it’s just hanging out with family and friends…they enjoyed being together…it was young love at best. But the judge knows what she’s doing–she deals with these kinds of cases on a daily. This is nothing but a publicity stunt for him to sell more albums, due to others sympathy. Chris, the Controlling & Manipulative boy that he is, is only doing this to ride off the publicity that Rihanna has received for her new single. Her new single overshadowed his, so he’s riding on her coat tails.
Another thing, I believe that Rihanna’s album was completed back in February and it featured alot of songs written or co-written by CB.
Having the big ego that Chris does, he thought that her album was going to be the bomb because he was the “creative” genius present in it and used that to control her and keep her in line. He thought also that no one could do a better job than he did and that Rihanna couldn’t do without his “creative” input.
However, when Ne-Yo wrote this new joint for Rihanna and it premiered to rave reviews, he got the wind knocked out of him because now he realized that Rihanna may even do better without his so called input.

I don’t agree with Chris beating on her like that. They both are young, and I know we all can remember our first love. How deep we felt, how we took some things we shouldn’t have, so we should not be judging either one of them. I think Chris was sincere, and he was just up recalling their good times and how he missed his love, he is not trying to sell records!!
