Here’s Mary’s rendition of the National Anthem she belted out at last night’s World Series game at Yankee Stadium. Interesting… Oh, and congrats to the Yankees for becoming the ‘09 World Series champs.

FeFe Dobson was here in D.C. last night performing for the OMEGA 100-Day Countdown to the 2010 Olympic Winter Games in Vancouver. And she had the support of her home country as she performed at the Embassy of Canada:
Kickin’ it with the Canadian Ambassador and her band.

  I think Mary J truly deserves the title Queen of R&B Soul. She’s has proven that she can stand the test of time and just gets better with longevity. I remember when she first came out, people said she couldn’t sing, all she did was holler. Look how far she’s come. Her voice has matured and so has she. Great job!

  Mary, hmmm ok but the high parts were off key and a bit choppy but other than that just ok.Everytime that someone sings the NA, it makes me appreciate Whitney’s version and her version of Ray Charles, ‘America’ beautiful!

  I love MJB, but she’s never been a great vocalist. She has incredible presence, energy and style(thnx to atiba). So I knew her “rendition” of the anthem wouldn’t be nice lol. Still love her, she’s still MJB.

  I appreciate Fefe’s aesthetic. Tomboy rocker chic. Everyone doesn’t have to look like a glitter disco ball or like they’re stuck in a bad horror film. But Fefe, Teyana, & Zoe Kravitz do have verrry similar features.

  Nerves still get to professionals. I might also add that she was emotional. So nerves and emotions and yet she still did an excellent job. That is a hard song to sing and she did very well.
